Biography:
Early Childhood
Jacste Selden was born on the crime ridden planet of Nar Shaddaa. When he was very young Sith recruiters came to his world looking for future Sith. When they asked Jacste's parents for him and even bribed them with credits, they said no. Normally that would have been the end of it, but the trip to Nar Shaddaa was long and they were out of patience. They wouldn't return empty handed. They killed his parents in front of him and took the boy back with them to Bastion to be trained.
Sith Academy
He met another boy at the academy who would become his rival. They would fight and compete with each other throughout their time there. Both graduated the academy as two of the best in their class and would even be chosen by the same master.
Apprenticeship
The master chose two apprentices because the he couldn't decide who was more powerful and, therefore, more worthy of his teachings. He would push their rivalry even further in an attempt to find out who was really stronger, hoping one would kill the other.
Their master would teach the two that "Mercy is for fools" by beating the ever living crap out of them in training sessions. Because of this his rival grew to fear and respect their master, but Jacste only hated the man and wanted to see him dead.
Before the master could knight the two apprentices he was stabbed to death by his stronger apprentice, Darth Dvasian a.k.a. Jacste Selden. They would both be knighted after this, but his rival resented Dvasian for killing their master. They went their seperate ways, but would eventually cross paths again.
Betrayal and Imprisonment
In one of their earliest battles with the Jedi and Republic they were once again forced to work together. He was captured by the Jedi and his rival, of course, did not save him. The Jedi took him and sent him to one of their prisons.
On the inside Jacste grew a reputation and made allies, before eventually staging a riot, which was actually a distraction to allow him and his allies to escape. They killed guards and took their weapons, before stealing a ship and escaping the prison.
Start of Mercenary Career
When he was free Jacste decided he would abandon the Sith. They had probably forgotten or purposely left him in that prison, anyway. However he would never abandon the dark side, for he would never be able to escape his pain and anger. After his imprisonment, Jacste decided to use the force to serve himself and make money. He often worked as a mercenary or took part in other, profitable, criminal endeavors.
Failed Revenge
Eventually Jacste found his rival, who was more like a nemesis now, again, at his home on Bastion and he attempted to murder him. However his nemesis had grown stronger and after a long fight, he cut off Jacste's left arm and let him escape, thinking he was no longer a threat. It seemed he enjoyed making Jacste suffer. First the prison and now this.
Pain
He fled and had a cybernetic arm installed to replace the one he lost. He would be plagued by nightmares, reliving the pain, over and over. Even seeing his master in his dreams, speaking to him. His master told him to embrace his pain, use it to kill his nemesis. He hated it, but Jacste knew he was right.
Revenge at Last
His nemesis hadn't realized that the new pain and suffering he'd brought upon Jacste would only make him more powerful than ever before. He found his nemesis again and he mocked Jacste, asking if he'd come back for more. Jacste would respond by pointing to his metal arm and saying, "Your turn".
Another long fight ensued and in the end his nemesis kneeled before him and begged for mercy. He replied with the same line their master had used on both of them in the past, "Mercy is for fools!. . . Like you."
Next Jacste removed his nemesis' left arm, as they did him, then cut off the fool's head. He'd keep both as trophies in his old home, on Nar Shaddaa.
