BIOGRAPHY:
The rooms lights were buzzing and its stone walls showed nothing but coldness. The woman who was brought inside was in an orange jumpsuit and had shackles on as she was sat at the table and her shackles secured to the floor and table. Across the room sat four men behind a table at least they looked like men she couldn't see in the dim light and the harshness of protective custody's area had not dulled her senses in the force but her eyesight wasn't as keen to catching up. Suddenly one of them spoke as a light shown on her and he instinctively tried to shield her eyes but the shackles wouldn't reach.
"So you know why you are here today?"
"Cause I have a chance to get out?"
"Yes. You have been approved because of your good behavior these last twelve years to be heard. Do you have anything to say in your defense?"
"No."
"You do realize if your denied you will serve the full life sentence?"
"I do, but I am guilty I may not have pressed the button but I killed those people all the same."
"So you wish to be punished? To be imprisoned? Instead of trying to find the real killer?"
"I already know who the real killer is."
"You made no mention of this at your trial."
"I couldn't tarnish the jedi more."
"Do you regret your actions?"
"Everyday of my life."
"You are being released Jade. Into our custody."
Jade stilled, that was a voice she knew and her eyes squinted to a man standing in the corner who stepped forward. Her heart raced and suddenly her mouth went dry as she barely spoke the words.
"Master?"
"Aye child it is me, the jedi believe in forgiveness and with the new council came my petition for release. The Alliance has agreed as long as we watch you closely. Do you want to go home?"
Jades eyes slightly welled up with tears as she nodded.
"Yes."
It seemed like a dream after that, Jade has been taken to her cell and grabbed her stuff then been processed for release. She was fitted with a tracking anklet and told to not remove it for any reason. Her clothing was unable to fit her so she was given a fresh set of prison guard clothing. As she walked with her master through the doors and smelled the air from Coruscant she looked around her eyes stinging in pain from the glare but she welcomed it . There was a transport for her and her master that took them to the jedi temple and she was secreted in to a room for herself with a fresh set of clothing. Jade changed putting on the outfit and spoke o her master who was outside the door.
"Master what? What did the council say? When you asked for my release."
"They were not happy but agreed the fault was not yours, you didn't kill the people. It would have happened no matter who was there."
"But she did it because of me."
"Ruby did it because she fell to the darkside Jade your sister died in your arms in the undercity remember?"
"No she was alive I saw her at the building she said she would kill them if I didn't come on."
"That was not your sister, what she is now what she became killed and murdered your sister."
Jade welled up with tears again but she exited the room and nodded, her master was harsh but he viewed the fallen as impostors. It was his point of view and she couldn't share it in this regard. Slowly Jade walked feeling the weight on her shoulders again but her shackles were gone she wasn't free but she could recover. She could save people until her slate was clean it could ever be cleaned. She was a jedi again.
