Created as part of Matsu's holocron it serves as a roadmap and training aid giving information about the jedi's various research and discoveries. In this instance the recently rediscovered Thread a force practice from the deceased coven of Brendok.
CONTENT INFORMATION
The thread, a practice among the witch coven on Brendok and left over from whatever they were doing. There is not a lot of information and some have tried to explain or recover it. I have studied it and most notes and conclusions are here for those who wish to read them.
All living things are connected by the same thread a thread woven through all of existence it's going to be worth noting here by the way any material differences between the witch's understanding of the thread and the traditional understanding of the force. Because the difference here is principally semantics it is the same thing they just use different words.
Whether this idea of altering destiny or following the will of the force are close enough and of the same is unknown yet. In my experience there are thousands of force groups across the galaxies, they call the same thing... the force aa thousand different things and some wield it in vastly different ways. From all notes that survived the fire, from the imp;ressions in the force and through flow walking to discern the past... we know the coven of witches were mono gendered. Their teaching considered dark and because of it they were driven from their world or worlds... there was several species from different corners of the galaxy which would require either it to have been mobile like the vahla or long ago they were gathered together by someone else.
We have worked to restore the fortress, to recover what knowledge we could and reinforce the structure. With that we have moved to the recovery of knowledge and from there adding it to the archives of the jedi order for those who wish to study alongside many of the other groups that I have been into and worked to understand. To feed the jedi knowledge of various force orders and allow them the ability to learn. We know some of the other things.. the world was damaged when the Nihil unleashed the great hyperspace incident.. using their path engine to damage hundreds of worlds but Brendok was considered lost and barren of life but barely a century later it was flourishing.
THat came from a vergence in the force.. the world was returning to itself... the force guiding it and that attracted the witches to it where they would be able to make their home in an old mining fortress built into the mountain. The jedi coming because of the vengence is how they stubled upon them and the incident that led to the death of the coven happened. We have investigations ongoing to it to see if more light could be shed with modern advances in technologies and force use... but also into what the witches used the thread for. The mental impression of their undulating chants in the courtyard has been giving some theories.
