Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Well for some who have been helping me plan it and work on it this is finally up. For a few others I played with the idea of another subfaction within the Silver Sanctum and talked about it. So it isn't much yet and don't know if it will be a big hit but the hopes for those who like making tech for the jedi to use then this is a place for those who serve the light or want to be science type jedi, artisan's, historians.
The Jadeite Order are the jedi who might not be swinging sabers as much but go for the indiana jones style adventure. So come and have fun with the helping out. There are a few interesting ideas a couple others like [member="Rasu Gan"] and @Sorel @Crieff know about. So here is the pitch and yes inspired by Dragonheart.
A small order formed by the jedi slightly outside the order. The Jadeite serve the purposes of furthering education and advancement or understanding both of the force as well as the mechanical marvels. While orders like the Silver watch develop to protect against the darkside, the Jadeite serve to construct the gear that they use should they so choose. The order is composed of the often considered lesser groups within the order.
Those who do not often fit in with the warrior classes of the jedi can find some purpose within the Jadeite to become different researchers, historians and collectors finding exotic technology to reverse engineer into new force crafted technology that serves the lightside of the force. Other working to collect history and lore to rebuild the knowledge base of the jedi into a truly grand archive and library.
The parts of the order itself are broken into three major groups, comprising three jedi groups that work together to organize everything. The artisan's and researchers who study, craft and collect rare and exotic artifacts, technology, samples throughout the galaxy. Working to create new equipment that can be used by their people. The ones who serve as lore keepers, collectors of information, organizing the library and recording jedi history.
The final sects within the order are the most skilled of them all, researchers of the different sciences. Uncovering, analyzing and unearthing the long forgotten secrets of the ancient worlds. The order also provides something few others do, in terms of what it works towards building with jedi knowledge. an emphasis on generalists is given. Jedi able to duel but also know different force powers for different situations.
