Jaeviko Fitzsix​

Jaeviko was always second. Second born, second place, second choice. Her elder sister, Casmiet, took all the glory. Casmiet was born Force Sensitive, and was quickly whisked away to be trained. Even after her departure, their parents couldn't stop talking about how proud they were of Casmiet, and how excited they were that their daughter was a Force user. Sure, Casmiet was the first force user in over six generations of the Fitzsix line, but Jaeviko never saw how that was impressive. She might not even be good at using the force, for all they know! It made Jaeviko sick.

She struck out on her own early, at age 14. She wormed her way through some less than legal piloting classes, and got her first chance at freedom by the time she was 16. Out in space, flying a ship-- she was addicted. But there was so much more that she wanted to know. Surely force users weren't the only people that made history. Who else was out there, doing amazing things? Whose creations have gone unnoticed, buried by time? She was going to be the one to find out.

When she turned 18, she found the one: The Manta. After a few (expensive) fixer-uppers, the ship was perfect. Jae had never felt more at home than she did on the Manta. Any planet she wanted to go to was hers, even just for one night. And that made her journeys all worth it. To pay for her repairs and upgrades, she started taking on odd-jobs. Whoever paid her well and was nice to her, she took their job.

Of course, the credits didn't just go to fixing up the Manta. They went to Jae's passion: unearthing ancient things. She didn't care what they were; pottery, technology, art, writings, it was all exciting to her. She handled each discovery with the utmost delicacy, and took three-dimensional scans of each in order to preserve them all in her digital collection. Normally, she knew better than to steal the discoveries she made. After all, they belonged on their home planets. But even the good-intentioned can be tempted...
