Once two, now one, Jain Ionon marches under the red banner of the Sith as a being - a creature - unlike any other. Created by Kascalion Giedfield during an ancient and profane Force Ritual, Jain Ionon once lived as two separate people of the same names who are now forever cursed to walk in the same body.

Jain was a gigantic and intimidating, albeit surprisingly peaceful space trader who earned both an incomparable fortune and the rare attraction of the Devil himself, to whom Jain had once sold a surplus of technology blueprints to. Ionon, in contrast, was an intellectual of the Jedi whose delving in the mysteries of the Force led her astray into the arms of the Beast who sought only to use her mind for the advancement of his goals.

Thus came the Chimera, the best and worst of both individuals, now serving as the Devil's favorite demon, his most devout loyalist, and his most consistent internal adversary.

Physically, the Chimera utilizes the body of Jain, standing 6 foot 6 and weighing nearly 220 pounds, and bears striking red hair and piercing yellow eyes that seem to gaze through whoever is in her line of sight. Her mind, however, is a near-perfect melding of both Jain and Ionon, although it would appear that the latter is perhaps the more dominant of the two as she seems to be in control of the body more often. The ritual performed to meld the two together also left a permanent skeletal visage on Jain and Ionon, both spiritually and physically.

Additionally, it also seems that Ionon's personality has been quite substantially corrupted due to the Chimera's time spent with the Devil alongside the ritual used to create her, making her much more aggressive compared to her previous self. Ionon also appears to hold the most antagonistic feelings towards the Devil, perhaps a remnant of her past time among the Jedi, and is often vocally and sometimes physically opposed to serving him, although Jain will usually always take over before she can do anything drastic.

In battle, the Chimera utilizes a distinct combination of brutality and dexterity gained from both souls inhabiting her body. To use this style to its fullest extent, the Chimera wields axes and blasters and only wears light armor into combat to avoid hampering her movement speed and range of motion. Additionally, she utilizes the combined Force Sensitivity of Jain and Ionon, becoming even more of a danger on the battlefield.

Also to be noted, due to the shared body, both spirits have agreed to simply go by Jain Ionon in casual conversation and keep their unique co-existence as hidden as possible from those not close to their heart.

  • + The Chimera: Created from two souls, the Chimera possesses the might of both Jain and Ionon, which themselves have been improved through experience, training, and the ritual used to forge this beast. Additionally, whenever Jain or Ionon are in control of the body in place of the other, the submissive spirit at the moment can utilize Force Projection to appear as if physically present, usually to converse or relay information the other could use to survive and kill in battle.
    • Jain's Prowess: Physically imposing, Jain was destined to serve as the muscle of the Chimera in spite of her previous occupation as a peaceful space trader. Once trained by the Devil, Jain's body became honed to perfection with increased mass, durability, and dexterity, which themselves were already enhanced to begin with due to her Force Sensitivity.
    • Ionon's Intellect: On the fast track to becoming a Jedi Consular, Ionon's intellect was destined to serve as the mind of the Chimera, although the consciousness was not truly intended to be as active as it is. More so, it was intended to serve as a subconcious improvement of Jain's consciousness. Ironically enough, Ionon's intellect may be what allows her to retain control of Jain's body, much to the latter's chagrin and anger.
  • + Force Conduit: As a spiritual combination of two already powerful Force Sensitives, Jain Ionon is a walking conduit capable of great powers and deadly feats.
  • - Conflicting Goals: With Jain's strong loyalty to the Devil and Ionon's growing discontent and desire to escape, the two minds of the Chimera are at great odds with each other and cause internal conflict almost daily.
  • - Marked For Death: Due to the actions the Chimera has done in the name of the Devil, she has been given the Death Mark numerous times, thus making her a prime target for bounty hunters when not under the direct protection of the Devil or any of his closer associates.
  • - Unstable Nature: The Conduit of Despair is not a nickname earned lightly, as many have discovered when encountering this beast. Such is her power that Jain Ionon's very being is unstable by nature, inflicting intensive pain throughout both body and spirit whenever such power is cast in battle. The Chimera also regularly takes pain medication in great quantities to counteract this to the point of possible addiction/dependency.
