SPECIAL FEATURES
- Force Imbued: These rings have been empowered through the Force to grant those who possess them with electrokinetic power.
STRENGTHS
- Force Lightning: Those who wear one of these rings are able to harness the potent Force ability of Force Lightning/Electric Judgement. Either or since it is not dependent on a character’s alignment nor their intention.
- Usable by all: Regardless if an individual is sensitive to The Force or not, they can utilize the power possessed in one of these rings.
- Independent Power: These rings possess their own energy in The Force. Utilizing them doesn’t use or exhaust one’s own energy and will passively recharge and renew its energy reserves with time.
WEAKNESSES
- No ring, No Power: Simply put, if the ring is not worn then you can not harness its power. Either by simply removing it from a finger, or severing the finger, hand, or arm it is attached to.
- Nullification: When within the presence/influence of something like a living ysalamir or other similar effect. These rings are unable to be used.
DESCRIPTION
Many eras ago rings like these were crafted by members of the Jal Shey. Created to offer some of their own greater combat ability and give themselves an edge if they ever needed to. Although not a militant tradition, these rings in conjunction with other Force Imbued gear could make a Jal Shey quite formidable without expending any of their own reserves of Force Energy.
These rings were just another tool for members of their order to hone their techniques and defend themselves. However, in the current year many of these specific rings have fallen into obscurity. Because of this those of them that have been found have often been misidentified as ancient Sith Artifacts because of their ability to grant wearers proficiency with Force Lightning.
Recently Diodoros has come into possession of one of these rings during a conflict between local forces on Tund and the Sith Order. It was stored in a museum where it was it was considered an unidentified Sith Artifact.
