BIOGRAPHY:
Jan Dokura was a Twi'lek born and raised on Ryloth. His family had a long history of service with the Ryloth Defense Authority and were very proud of their heritage and culture. Jan grew up hearing the tales of the Syndulla family and of the legendary Rebel Alliance. Jan himself was named after the legendary Rebel general Jan Dodona. Despite working for the local militia Jan's family was not rich and he knew and grew up with many boys and girls who would go on to join the "service" industry in the capital cities and off-world. As a youth to help at home he worked in the spice mines that dotted the area around his small canyon city but when he came of age he joined his father in the Defense Authority as a fighter pilot.

He spent time in the Galactic Alliance fighting against the Tyranny of the Sith and started a family on Lujo where a large amount of the Twi'lek Diaspora had formed a strong community. He was a founding member of the Lujo Defense Directive [LDD]and was a popular figure in Corellian Politics due to his outspokenness on subjects like self-determination, planetary sovereignty, and by being a proponent of a strong military force. He held the rank of General in the LDD and was a known associate of several Twi'lek freedom fighters and insurgency groups. After the riot on Kuat he made contact with the Agents of Chaos when he heard rumors of a similar course of action.
