PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
An old scar mars the left side of Jan's face, and he sports the tan lines of a seasoned tanker. Usually, the only article of clothing that distinguishes him from the rest of the men and women under his command are the silver rank pins of a Colonel.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Blunt. Pragmatic. Not without a sense of humour.
STRENGTHS
Strategically-minded: With over a decade of frontline experience on his side, the Colonel has gotten quite good at seeing the bigger picture, and where his Armour Regiment factors into it.
Brave To A Fault: Jan does not shy away from danger. Brave beyond words, he will face down whatever or whomever gets in his way, be they Sith, Jedi or something far, far worse.
Force Dead: Not easily-sensed or manipulated by those gifted in the Force.
WEAKNESSES
Brave To A Fault!: Though his unwavering courage has earned him a reputation amongst his crews and counterparts, it is not without its drawbacks. His willingness to face suicidal odds will surely come back to bite him in the ass sooner or later.
These Boots Ain't Made For Walking: A tanker to his core, Jan has only received basic level training when it comes to close combat outside the confines of his Command Tank.
Damaged Goods: Jan is half-blind on his left side due to an old war wound. His hearing works just fine.
