Biography

Even from a young age, Jane Talia Rivers knew the military life. Her mother was an officer with the Sith, and her father a combat medic. Her parents were constantly out on tour, leaving Jane with her aunt. The planet of Talravin was rather minor in the galactic context, offering little in the way of trade and raw resources. It's value lay in the people on it, who have played large parts in the galaxy more than once.
Unfortunately, both of Jane's parents were killed when she was thirteen years old. Now permanently residing with her aunt, Jane found herself idolizing them and their choices in life, and determined to follow in their footsteps.
So, as soon as she was able, she traveled to the nearest recruiting station.

Rivers was one of the many soldiers under the command of [member="Isamu Baelor"], and idolized the man, seeing him as a surrogate father figure, despite never actually meeting him in person. While technically under the command of the Sith, she followed his orders above any others. So when he left the One Sith for Unknown Space, she was right with him. Desperate for competent leaders, Rivers was elevated to the rank of Sergeant, and given command of a squad of soldiers in the exile's most desperate of moments.
Now, she is determined to fulfill the role given to her, even if she is terrified of screwing up.
