Jar'kai and Hand to Hand Combat

(( Cheater...))

Alexandra strode into the room that she had been in countless times before, holding her hands behind her back as she wore the simple purple training outfit she always wore in situations like today, (Check Bio for outfit, first pic). Her eyes rolled over the room, finding the man as she moved towards him, on her back the Dauntless blade she had acquired some time ago, her sabers at her waist, and a pistol in the back of her belt to give him a fun time if things became more fun with this training.

Urak saw her enter the room and bowed to her as she got closer, saying "Greetings". He was wearing all black robes, like that of a nazgul.

((from LOTR))

He had a utility belt with gadgets like smoke grenades, plasma grenades, and a blaster. His lightsabers were hidden in his robes.
He was ready to learn. He knew he needed much more power if he was to become a Sith Lord. He waited for her to begin.

"Remove the robe, it is going to restrict your movement and i really don't feel like arguing so just do it..." She removed everything but the dauntless blade, to which she tore out of the leather back sheath, his blade cleaming in the low light. "Once done, take up a training saber and a shoto, make sure they are training sabers because i really don't feel like losing an arm today if you actually do learn something."

"As you wish."

Urak removed his cloak leaving just his battle-robe on. ((basically darth maul's))

He started warming up and then put his lightsabers up and picked up a training saber and shoto. He then got into a stance, waiting for instructions. "I am ready."

"When you can hit me once, we can begin your training, until then...." She smiled and moved the dauntless blade in a circle and waited for him to attack. He needed to prove that he can be quick enough and make the precise strikes that Jarkai is good for, power will not serve him ever in Jarkai, as he wont have it in this form.

Urak lunged at her, slicing with his training saber from the left, hoping to get a hit on her side. Keeping his shoto ready for an attack, or counter. Trying to go as fast as he could, but not so fast as to lose control. Speed was a strong point of his, he never really relied on pure strength, he tried to overwhelm his opponents.

Her blade came up and she deflected the hit with the flat of her blade, but rather than strike she brought her blade around and swatted away his shoto, tried to atleast. Should this work her next move was simple, with her free hand she would reach out, hook it under his neck and bring him down to the ground and put him on his back, al while grinning. If it didn't work she would smile none the less, knowing that he would be a interesting student, the test not only to see for speed, but if he was someone who could deal with losses or not.

Urak's attack had been countered, and she was attempting to attack him, so as she was trying to push his shoto out of the way he let her hit his shoto with her blade but then spun around to the right side of her body before her next attack and attempted another slash with his training saber.

Her body shot into motion, a movement she had seen done a million times, it moved and she caught hte blade on hers, both hands keeping his blade back and pushing it off. He was good, too good, and he knew it. She spun her blade once more as she moved back and looked at her saber on the floor. She had been taking basic courses again on how to control the force, and slowly she dragged her saber to herself, metal sounding and if he watched this he would think that she was nothing more than a Acolyte, a weak one at that.

Urak was watching her as she dragged her saber back to her, then decided he wouldn't give her the time.Remembering all his fights throughout his life, from his experience he flipped around her and sliced downwards with his training saber at her head. All in one fast motion. Keeping his shoto ready. "Let's see you counter this!"

Smiled and the good thing about appearing weak is when they tried to take advantage of you. The saber stopped has he as midway through his strike, far too late for him to change course and she ducked under the blow, got in close, and sent a curled fist right up and into his gut, looking to end this now.

Urak smiled as well when she attempted to punch. "Coming straight to me..."

He used his shoto to hit her hand as she punched him. So he got sent to the ground by the punch, but a hit has been made.

She grinned, both from the pain of the training saber and from the fact her had done as she asked and was now on the ground. "You are dead... but i guess i could teach a dead man new tricks, your training begins now, stand up." She looked at her stuff and went over to grab her two sabers, activating the silver blades as they cast their light on the stones around her, both full length blades. "Jar Kai deals in fluid strikes, you cannot rely on power with Jarkaim but instead precision, this is a immensely hard form to master and i would normally have most learn Niman first, which comes to the next question, do you understand Niman?"

Urak stood up and put the training blade and shoto down, and grabbed his sabers.

"I have studied the sixth form, Niman, but i have not actually tried to use it." "I usually use Soresu and Juyo/Vaapad."

"I have trained in the use of two sabers though, as i use a Saber-staff, which can detach into two different lightsabers" He then activated his sabers, full length.

She shook her head and pointed to the two training sabers. "We aren't going to use your sabers yet, no for right now you will remain using the shoto and training saber until i say and believe you are ready otherwise." She paced back and for as she pondered what he said. "Without Niman, it is a bit harder to teach you this technique, but i think you have the reaction time and speed to make it work. You will need to work on defense too... so until you can stop me from overwhelming you, you will stay on the defensive, hit me and you will proceed to the next part." She spun her sabers into the ready stance as she stood there with them in hand now.

Urak bowed to her and put his sabers back up and grabbed the training saber and shoto again. He then got in a defensive stance waiting for the attacks she would use. "I am ready."

Urak closed his eyes for a moment to feel out with the force, ready for any attack that comes his way.

She smiled and struck. Even without the force her movements were a blur, months and years of constant training with two sabers left her to know that her strength was not her greatest weapon when using such a technique. And As such her speed had been quickened over the years to match that of a Force Users while they moved in a blur, eyes able to track every movement and tension in the opponents muscles before they even moved and smiling.

That is why when she struck it was a surprise as she used no force powers but shot forward and cut at his leg then his arms then his midsection then arms again and then midsection and then legs. Her arms moving and working to overwhelm him with the random strikes, no pattern, no strategy, just pure confusion.

It was a good thing Urak was intune with the force. Even though she didn't use the force, he could sense the impending danger of the attacks.

He quicky opened his eye, and used his training saber to block her first strike at his leg, and his shoto to block her attack at his arms. As she went for the mid-section he side-stepped to evade, and brought his saber back to block the attack at his arms, then spun while using his shoto to parry her other saber and pushed it back then quickly jumped over the strike at his legs, barely dodging her wave of attacks.

He was surprised how fast she was. He was fast himself, as he needed to be in his earlier days, but here was one that could match his speed, and unlike her, he also augmented it with the force to enhance it.

After defending against her attacks, he stepped back to make some space and remained in his defensive stance. He knew he would have to attack back soon, because she would eventually break through his defense.

She smiled and then did something that should help confuse the man, her saber coming in until suddenly it vanished for a split second to bypass his blade before activating again. This was a technique few others knew but she felt he could learn something more than just Jar'kai. After all, few force users took advantage of the single greatest feature of a lightsaber, its ability to turn off and on. As the blade returned from the cylinder, it would be aimed at his knee and targeted to take out his balance.

There really was no way to teach a man JAr'kai without pushing him to continually make himself better, if he can't do that then no number of training sessions will help.
