W- PTSD (makes it hard to get sleep. Reacts violently to threats of team members in what he perceives to be danger), he doesn't like to accept help, and he gives people too many chances.
APPEARANCE: Standing at 6'1" and packing 250lbs, most of which is muscle, Jasem is a presence that's hard to ignore,especially when paired with his bright blue eyes and a bushy beard. Mostly he'll be found in a clean, grey, long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, thick, worn, brown cargo pants tucked into large matte black combat boots. He typically has a large, olive green bandanna stuffed in his back right pants pocket.
BIOGRAPHY: Jasem grew up like any normal child, hoping to do something great. Instead he had a rather normal life and, to escape a lifetime of monotony, he enlisted in the armed forces when he turned 23. Towards the end of an unremarkable career, his unit was sent to bring peace to a revolution on a usually quiet backwater planet. His commander severely underestimated the threat and marched his men into an ambush right in the capitol. Of the 100 souls in his unit, five made it out. They fought for weeks through a city that was gradually turned to not much more than rubble between "support" artillery fire and the revolutionaries own weapon systems. When he made it back to his unit, he found out the whole incident was swept under the rug and forgotten about. Three days later he turned in his papers to separate from the service and began the more honest life of smuggling at the age of 30. In that time he had been able to purchase his own ship and make a comfortable living smuggling anything from jewels from heists he knew nothing about to people he knew everything about.
SHIP: He owns a rather plain ship with no name beyond the serial number, JL2100G2. A two deck (if you count the lower cargo area as a deck) vessel capable of supporting 10 people for a month, meant to be piloted by two, and capable of FTL travel. The cockpit at the very front of the ship is followed by the "lounge" of the ship that's been fitted to be more of an armory. This is flanked by a bedroom that used to be simply for communications to the starboard side and a bathing area to the port side. The ships engines start from the ends of both of these areas and continue back aft, past the cargo bay large enough to hold two bantha,and sticking just past the end of the ship.
