BIOGRAPHY:
Jasper Varanin was born on New Cov to a family of merchants that had fallen on hard times after a series of tragic murders. Raised in the family business, he pursued higher education on Naboo under scholarship. He did moderately well despite several false starts and changes of specialty. Instead of a promising career in engineering, Jasper returned to New Cov and took up operation of the family ship and speeder pool. Within several years, he established a reputation for modifying ships expertly -- and not always within the bounds of the law.
