- Versatile Loadout: The Jast 2cnd Rate is a favoured among Commanders for it's versatile loadout. She doesn't have any fancy guns, but again she is Kinetic Focused. She can pack a punch with her Ion Cannons, and follow up with a heavy Kinetic Barrage as well as multiple types of missiles.
- Slow: The Jast 3rd rate sacrifices some manoeuvring power and speed for a heavier loadout.
- No Fighters: In keeping with the specialized tradition of their ships, the engineers decided to leave the hangar out the equation and pack more guns in instead.
Seeking to make a heavier hitter for Naval fleets the Jast Shipwright Co. Engineers came out with the Successor of the 3rd Rate. The 2cnd rate is a bit slower, and harder to turn. The trade off is a decent stock ship with more guns, and more options for combat in the missile department.
Again the Mass Drivers are harder to block without ray Shields rather than standard deflectors, which absorb energy based attacks.
A popular tactic during Invasions or skirmishes might be to keep these as the second wave of your battle line, allowing them to hit in numbers with your other vessels. A decent mix of Jast Vessels can counter a heavier ship, for much cheaper cost.
