Javin a Bad Day (Open)

2e25537d4cf22ef8c7e07658709a51b5.png
Planet: Javin
Location Resistance Camp

The sun high in the sky began to set as the hours went by, the mountains nearby eventually casting a dark shadow across the sandy dunes of Javin. The small camp that had been set up remained illuminated however, with a few large lamps set up around the site, positioned specifically around the tents and small structures that many individuals took cover within. The camp was situated far away from any urbanized areas, and was populated mostly by Muugari citizens who found themselves pushed out from their homes.

The planet had once been a great source of power to the original Galactic Empire, and thus many humans found it a nice place to settle. In line with the Imperial way, the Muugari natives were eventually outnumbered by the humans and now resented them for it. Thankfully, Tugoro was here to help, having arrived in an old X-Wing fighter that the Resistance had secured.

Tending to some quick engine repairs, the young Jedi Knight began to listen to the buzz of people around him, their tones relatively calm and quiet as they went about their business. Soldiers cleaned their guns, recruits observed in hopes of learning, and civilians usually chatted or lined up for medical aid. There had been a report of increased Imperial activity on the planet, though the First Order's involvement, if they had any, remained unknown. Tugoro had flown out to the system and set up base on the planet alongside [member='Z'Zharen'], another member of the Resistance. The day was just ending, and everything had gone smoothly.

Volunteer doctors were tending to the wounded and sick, and just about everyone else was preparing to sleep for the night. Except the soldiers that had come along on the trip, who began to discuss the matter of patrols and perimeters. Tugoro himself was having a bit of trouble, for he could not find his hydrospanner. He might have forgotten it, or simply misplaced it. Z'Zharen seemed to know a lot, so why not seek him out and ask. The Jedi would stand up, moving out from underneath his ship to find the Whipid. Once spotted, the young man would give him a wave before approaching and asking, "Have you seen my hydrospanner?"

The Degreaser exited out of hyperspace, approaching the desert planet of Javin. Staring out of the window from his seat in the cockpit, Kelan pondered to himself involving the contact he had. He had decided to leave Hok, where his cartel was stationed at in order to make a business deal. The mysterious contact had promised a few experienced pilots to make deliveries and retrieve various materials that the cartel might need, in exchange for some credits. He had told his pilot to make the landing in a resistance camp, where they could set up camp in order to rest before making their way to the next town order where the deal would take place. If he was lucky, he could meet a few mercenaries in need of jobs that would have made excellent additions to his cartel. A little more muscle never hurt anyone.

The freighter had began to make its descend as Kelan concluded on his thoughts. The ship experienced some turbulenece, with Kelan fumbling in his seat, criticizing the pilot. Feet of the ship landing next to the resistance camp, a large sand cloud came out from under it. The door to The Degreaser opened up, with rows of armed droids flooding out. FInally, Kelan himself slithered out of the ship, stretching after being confined in that ship for so long. His militia had a troop amount of at least 12 experienced droids, not as much to face an army, but enough to aim to kill for anyone aiming to kill.

It had taken about 20 minutes for Kelan to slither into the town, with his droids who had seemed to be waiting in anger. Entering the town, Kelan picked up a glistening object, seemingly of value. Showing it to one of the droids, it was confirmed it to be a high grade hydrospanner, it must have been worth something back at Hok. Setting up tents for each of the droids, assuming they needed it for whatever reason, and the grand tent in the center for Kelan, he had decided to rest until the next day in order to travel over to the next town.

The large, muscular yet still very youthful Whipid was sitting cross legged atop a collection of durasteel crates. He tried to meditate, but all the commotion within the base made that difficult. His brief interactions with various Jedi factions had left him feeling a little out of sorts. Zhar had hoped to find a united Jedi Order when he began his journey, its still been very recent since the Force awoken within him, but he felt compelled to learn the ways of the Jedi...But which Jedi?

Zhar had come in contact with other Force wielders, some non-aligned with anyone save for themselves. And a few dark side users who claim to fight for the First Order...an oppressive group of Imperials who have led a violent campaign in a corner of the galaxy. The Whipid frowned, how many beings have been enslaved or killed between this feud of First Order Imperials and members of the Resistance. When Zhar escaped his enslavement on Nar Shadda he took a private vow that he would protect those from the harsh life he endured and to fight those who would wished to shackle the innocent.

Zhar squinted, looking out to the sunset from the hangar entrance of the base. Nightfall was coming, a dry wind blew in from the wide entrance. The grayish-brown hair from the Whipid's mane whipped around him as he gazed out across the exterior camp. He tried to reach out with the Force, to see beyond what was in his line of sight. He huffed and sighed, his shoulders slouching at this brief moment of defeat. He struggled with tapping into the Force, so far it seemed to only be instinctive, reactionary. He questioned his path to become a Jedi or which order to serve if any at all. Perhaps he could be a lone Jedi?

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone approach him from behind. His instinct would have been to reach for his electrostaff he kept beside him, laying on top of the crates. The voice was a bit familiar, Zhar had to turn his head to see who was talking to him, it was Tugoro. A Jedi? Zhar was not too sure, he felt almost let down by the Force Users he had encountered. Most of them seemed to be pretenders. The young man asked the Whipid if he saw his hydrospanner. The Whipid squinted at Tugoro and shook his head, his long mane shaking with his negative response. "No..."

The Whipid spoke in a gruff voice, he did not mean to sound agitated. But truly he was. Not so much with Tugoro, or the base, or even the First Order...but mostly himself. He was still exploring not only the galaxy, but who he was as a person. Warrior? Slave? Jedi?... "Hmmm... which Jedi faction did you study under Tugoro?" Zhar was curious, so far the only capable Jedi he met seemed to be from the Silver Sanctum. He was invited to visit their capital...maybe one day he would.

[member='Z'Zharen'] had been sitting upon a pile of crates for sometime now, in what Tugoro guessed what meditation. It made the being look old and wise, even though he was probably young for his species. If anyone knew where his hydrospanner was, it would surely be the Whipid, thought the young Jedi. He wasn't sure why he thought this either, maybe because he just wanted to spark up some conversation that would hopefully be worthwhile. Even if his hydrospanner was nowhere to be seen, Tugoro was fine with it, simply shrugging his shoulder as he observed Z'Zharen's negative response. He had probably left it back in the nearby town.

Speaking of which, [member="Kelan The Hutt"] suddenly appeared, emerging from his large freighter as it landed nearby the small rebel camp. Many soldiers and volunteers scrambled to their feet, grabbing blasters and weapons of any sort. They calmed when the Hutt ignored them, going in the other direction. Tugoro couldn't help but look away after staring in disbelief, repulsed yet surprised by the sight of Kelan. Turning his gaze back to Z'Zharen, the young man would listen to his words, a brief exhale escaping his lips as he saw where this conversation was going. Tugoro didn't consider himself a Jedi of the Republic, but he was most definitely a Republic citizen, and always would be. The Jedi had taken him in, and he was in their debt for that.

"I was raised during Grandmaster Kiskla's time, in the Republic," Tugoro spoke, pausing briefly before continuing, "And you? A wandering rebel? Does that mean you are not a Jedi, though?" the Jedi questioned, having caught a glimpse of emotion through the force. "Some Jedi factions stem from the Republic, if not all drawing inspiration from the ideals of old Order. What separates us is execution, the manner in which things are done. The actions of one can discredit an entire group, but you discredit yourself for being quick to judge. Know what I mean?" Tugoro asked offhandedly, after he was done rambling. He didn't like taking sides, instead opting to understand the situation fully before tackling it. "What faction are you interesting in, Z'Zharen?" the young Jedi questioned in return.

The Whipid turned back to the sunset though the beautiful scene was distorted when a slithering eclipse blocked his view. A hutt. Zhar let out a quite snarl, he associated the Hutts with Nar Shadda, where he escaped a life of slavery and torment. Zhar grabbed his electrostaff, keeping it rested on top of his lap, ready to jump foward if this Hutt and his escorts had come for him however unlikely that might be, Zhar would not risk being a slave again.

Zhar eased up when Tugoro spoke to him "I am...unfamiliar with this Master Kiskla, was he a human Jedi like you?" Almost all of the Force users Zhar had encountered seemed to be human or at least humanoid. To hear a Grand Master not being a human would be a unique, yet re-assuring thing to hear, Zhar felt he could not truly relate to the galaxies majority race especially when it was a group of them that captured him in the first place to sell him as a slave.

"I do not understand what you mean by that. How am I judging you? I simply ask of your Jedi upbringing." Zhar gripped his electrostaff, keeping one eye on the approaching Hutt, but raising his other brow at the young human. "For now I assisst the Resistance, I am grateful I have not had to fight just yet. I am content with aiding by volunteer work...though I think that peaceful time is coming to an end." The Whipid said as he gestured a nod to the direction of the Hutt.

"I do not know where I will end up just yet, perhaps as I learn more about the Force and strengthen my connection it, then I could find a place to settle down."

The Hutt had slithered out of view by now, allowing Tugoro to avert his full attention to [member='Z'Zharen]. The young Jedi would nod in accordance to his first question, as he recalled the early years of his tutelage. He had actually been under the guidance of Master Kiskla Grayson and her student when he first unlocked his force sensitivity. "Yes, she is a human like me," Tugoro spoke with a slight smile, not bothering to correct the Whiphid outright. Tugoro had grown up in the era of Corvus, Kian, and many other Jedi who had garnered some degree of fame. The two had actually been close friends of his, before he began to distance himself from the Republic.

This time, a laugh would escape Tugoro's lips as Z'Zharen became defensive, having taken the young man's words completely out of context. It went to show that judgements had been made, though not necessarily on Tugoro or any individual. Leaning against a pile of crates next to the meditating Whiphid, Tugoro would take a moment to straighten out the sleeves of his brown leather jacket before speaking, "You misunderstand, but that's fine. I won't stand around and pretend to be all-wise either," the Jedi concluded, before falling silent to listen to Z'Zharen once more. Tugoro thought the Resistance valiant in their efforts, though they still had a long way to go in terms of organization.

The Knight had fought in the current Rebel Alliance as well, having been a dedicated soldier before all of the controversy surrounding their leader. "All I can say is, don't rush it. Gather information on each group first. Want to come in to town with me? Need to get a hydrospanner, or my old one at least." The youth spoke, remembering he had actually left it in town. Hopefully he could recover it, before anyone like [member="Kelan The Hutt"] managed to get their hands on it.

Kelan wandered to a marketplace in hopes of supplies for him to use that could make his trek across the desert to the next town over easier for him. He had anticipated on settling near the town in the camp, but he never realized how far it actually was. His ship hadn't began the trek to Javin with the correct amount of supplies for the journey, and the scuffle with the First Order didn't help that. As he approached the stand, a dirt covered Mugaari brushed off his shirt and shock appeared on his face as the Hutt approached. Kelan began to name various types of foods that could support him during the trek. Sure his droids didn't need food, but a Hutt could never be truly satisfied. After asking one of his guards on the status of the water situation. After being reported on a low amount of water, Kelan had asked the merchant for directions to the nearest watering hole.

"O-Of course I can give you directions to a great watering hole to quench your thirst, mighty Hutt..."

The merchant was shaking, not sure whether he should be glad that the Hutt came to him or nervous. Kelan had noticed the fear on the man was just , and he knew that it would be fun to toy with. As he analyzed the inside of the stand around the merchant, he noticed some valuables along with the much needed supplies he had. His plan was simple, rob the man for what he had to set an example towards the others around him. The nice trinkets around the store would make for a fine part of his collection.

"You seem a tad pale, my merchant friend. Allow me to ease some of your concerns by taking action." Gesturing to get the attention of two of his droid guard, he ordered them to point their guns at the man who shuddered and begin to whimper uncontrollably. "I'm sorry to do this to you, old boy, but you have some interesting items in their that I would love in my treasury. Think of the bright side of it, I've still transferred the credits for that small amount of food I ordered, in exchange for everything else you have." He was chuckled to himself as the man shrunk down.

Zhar watched from the corner of his eye as the Jedi boy slouched against the crates and fixing his sleeves. He may be well trained in the Force, but his outer appearence and mannerisms are that of a child. Though in truth, Zhar was probably only a few years older than Tugoro...but his experiences had robbed him of a naive childhood. The Jedi boy also seemed to speak in riddles, the Whipid grunted after Tugoro said that Zhar was the one misunderstanding their conversation.

The Whipid maintained his cross legged pose, simply watching through the hangar bay doors as the sun was just about fully set. Long shadows casted from behind the tents and people in the rebel camp. Though perhaps the largest shadow was that of the Hutt. Zhar squinted as he watched the Hutt approached a native Mugaari merchant. The Jedi boy continued to talk about his lost hydrospanner, Zhar paid little attention to it. He observed the Mugaari kneel to the ground and starting to sob, he looked to be pleading for his life.strange though the Whipid could have sworn the Hutt and his entourage had moved farther away from the camp...perhaps what he was seeing was a...his normal sight returned, he could only see up to the camp outside the hangar, but he knew where to find the Hutt and his droids. "No..." The large Whipid murmured in a rough voice, speaking to himself that he would not allow the merchant to be harmed and subconsciously responding to Tugoro's question of helping him find his tools.

He gripped his electrostaff in one hand and placed his other on the top of the crate as he propelled himself with his huge long legs.

"Tugoro, follow me. I had...I think a vision, someone is in danger."

The force of him pushing back against the crates might have bumped against Tugoro, but Zhar was now in an instinctive and adrenaline rush to not notice. He charged through the hangar bay, fellow rebels and droids moving frantically out of his way. He activated his electrostaff with one hand, but only one end of the staff was working, damaged from his escape on Nar Shadda.

This Mugaari reminded him of the abused slaves on the Hutt controlled moon, Zhar regretted there was little he could do for them then, but now his chains were broken, the Force has freed him! He roared as he charged through the camp, crouching and then leaping into the air to land in between the Hutt's droids and the Mugaari. "Gooooooooooo!" He roared at the already terrified merchant, sending him away to flee. The Whipid was breathing hard, his brows arched in fury as he looked upwards at the giant Hutt. Zhar stood at 6'6ft, this hutt was nearly twice his size, but his girth seemed smaller for one of his sluglike kind.

Zhar would not attack first, though he felt the anger in him building, he had enough clarity to hold back only for defense of himself or others. Zhar snarled at the Hutt, awaiting the giant slug's next move. Part of Zhar wanted to skewer the Hutt, but he recited his mantra in his mind, reminding himself he was to be a Jedi and not an angry run away slave. My chains are broken...The Force shall free me.

Tugoro continued leaning upon the crates that had been stacked earlier, running a hand through his hair as he tried to relax. [member='Z'Zharen'] was an interesting fellow, Tugoro could tell that he was smart but still had much to learn. A lot like himself, actually. The young Jedi was nearly knocked over as the large Whiphid sprang to his feet, causing the crates he had been balancing on to shake briefly. Tugoro would stand up and straighten himself out fully, looking confused as he watched Z'Zharen bound off into the distance. He hadn't even bothered to get a speeder, something that Tugoro set to work doing quickly.

Hopping onto an old swoop bike that had been used for transportation between the towns, the Knight would blast off across the rocky surface, following and eventually catching up with his comrade. [member="Kelan The Hutt"] was further into the town, and as the duo ventured further Tugoro shut off his swoop bikes engine. He sat on the vehicle for a moment, watching in disbelief as Z'Zharen charged towards the Hutt, who was accompanied by many assassin droids. The Jedi hadn't wanted to reveal himself on this planet, so close to the First Order, but if things got any worse it looked like he would have to.

The young man would climb off of his speeder, approaching the group cautiously, aware of the droids that were probably armed and ready to attack. "Let's all take it easy, yeah?" He would suggest, giving Zhar a look of disappointment, obviously not condoning the manner in which he had charged in head first. It was something he would've done in his padawan days. The Hutt probably wasn't in his territory, but if he wanted to he could probably rally the Muugari criminals and pirates that roamed the area. They had to be careful, and remain aware of their surroundings as to not get cornered.

Kelan glared at the Whiphid, he should have been smarter in knowing that he was robbing someone in plain sight. Yet again, he could use the amount of people to his advantage. He may have used some of his money, but it would be worth it if it eliminated this pest who believed that he could intervene with a mighty Hutt. He noticed a tough looking gang of Mugaari's in the nearby cantina, all with blasters nearby.

"You shouldn't have done that, Whiphid. That man was just a weak rat who needed to be shown who's in charge around here. As a mighty Hutt, surely you must be aware of the power and influence I can hold over others. I own hundreds of businesses over tons of planets. Look at all of these mobsters that are simply just observing this happen. If I wanted to, I could put a simple, little bounty on you. What do you presume would happen then? From what I know, this whole camp will cry for your head delivered right on my doorstep. You are aware of the power that money can have over people, no?

The Hutt laughed as the Mugaari pirates began to creep closer, awaiting for the bounty mentioned. His droids had even awaited the order to kill, but he wanted to make sure that he knew the pleasure of seeing a poor Whiphid fear for his life. This was far more exciting than a business deal, it was always amusing to put a troublemaker in their place. However, he quickly thought about the man and his entrance into the fumble. There is no way that an average person has the capability of skills like those. To add, a Sith wouldn't have the kindness to help another, and a normal person wouldn't have the guts to oppose a Hutt, even if they were THAT determined. Good thing he wasn't like many of the other idiots in the galaxy and could decipher things on his own.

"This could be interesting... Jedi..." Kelan whispered so only himself and the Whiphid could hear.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Zhar glared at the Hutt, but even he had to admit he was out gunned. Perhaps he could take out most if not all the droids by himself, but the mercs would have been more difficult especially since he had no intention to kill them. The Whipid maintained his defensive stance holding his staff firmly, he took in a deep breath and then exhaled. An excercise a Jedi on Illum had once informed him to do, especially to quell his temper. This Hutt wants to be entertained and gloats excessively, Zhar would appease the slug if only to maintain peace. He admitted to himself, rushing in and raving like the savage beast most people stereotyped his race as was foolhardy. He does not regret his intention for intervening, the Mugaari merchant had run off to safety and thats what counted.

"You are right, great Hutt..." Zhar said through gritted teeth. "I can respect your...influence over others, but even if we were..."

"Even if we were..." He whispered the word now, confirming aloud only for the Hutt and Tugoro to hear. "Jedi."

"Then it would attract more Jedi to eventually find out two of their own were killed, by the decree of a Hutt who was out of his jurisdiction to begin with. Jedi tend to have an obsession with maintaining the law and I'm certain murdering a Jedi would ironically put you on their most wanted list."

Throughout his dialogue the Whipid did not lower his guard. "My friend and I would much rather share a drink with you than blood. Would you agree?"

Tugoro and [member='Z'Zharen'] were totally outnumbered and out-gunned. The Jedi held formidable skill, but he was unsure if he'd be able to control the situation and capture the Hutt afterwards. The assassin droids that accompanied [member="Kelan The Hutt"] would be a bother, the Muugari thugs that lurked around even more so as they fixed their gaze upon the scene. Still approaching from his swoop bike, Tugoro would frown as Zhar made his counter threat, one that probably held little ground in reality. Most Jedi were trained to not seek vengeance, and it was a possibility that they may never even be found if killed in the first place.

Javin was in neutral space, and the planetary authority couldn't handle every crime at once. Setting himself in between the Whiphid and Hutt, the young man would fold his arms over his torso, giving Kelan a defiant look. "Why would the Muugari work for you when you're on their turf?" Tugoro questioned loudly, making sure to get his point across to the many bystanders who began to viciously eye the Hutt and his entourage. The force was pushed behind his words, encouraging some of the weaker minded locals to harbour hostile intentions towards the Hutt. It was true that they could make a nice amount of credits by killing the two offworlders, but a Hutt was worth so much more.

A small group of Muugari pirates stepped out from the shade of a nearby building, his gang of two lifting their blaster rifles and opening fire. They began to spray recklessly towards the group, focusing mostly on the assassin droids that accompanied Kelan. The other Muugari were smart enough to stay out of it, and just watched as their brothers rushed into battle. Tugoro would turn, and attempt to tackle Z'Zharen to the floor, in hopes of not getting shot.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member='Z'Zharen']

Kelan quickly tried to slither into cover while his droid guards stood in front of him to prevent him from getting shot. However, many of them were taken out in the process, leaving only five of the droids left to shoot at the Mugaari, who had managed to find cover. As Kelan managed to make it behind a wall, he witnessed more armed fighters showing up. They began to take a stance on the side in between the firefight and begin spraying at both sides. They must have been some sort of riot control troopers or something similar to that stance. He knew that the Jedi Mind Trick was a possible idea for the Jedi, but he never believed it could cause a fight in between the town. The other citizens, including the merchant who had made his way to the cantina, all ducked down to avoid being hit by a stray bullet. Finally regaining his composition, he yelled to the Mugaari and possibly the riot control in hopes of persuading them away from his troops.

"Don't fire at me, you idiots! The Hutt Cartel will come after you and kill all of you in the instant that I die! That furball and human in the center are JEDI SCUM and I would make it worth your while for them to be eliminated!"

Finishing his last thought, he spotted one his fallen droid's blaster and picked it up. He began firing at the riot control with them being the most accessible target he could shoot at without getting killed. He would kill for his good ol' bowcaster right now, he would honestly be able to take out that whole gang of Mugaaris if he had it. A few of the citizens that had originally stayed out of it heard the part of them being Jedi, beginning to rise out of their seats with a blaster in hand. They gathered at the fourth side of the fight, taking aim. Kelan had noticed and noticed that he had the majority advantage in this firefight, assuming those Jedi had been smart and didn't interfere.

After a risky delivery on the planet Belsavis, Ravaj decides to do a quick fuel pick up on the near planet Javin. As The Dagger nears the planet surface, Ravaj sees the fight breaking out on-world.
"Ah well this looks safe." Ravaj says sarcastically. He slowly puts his fingers on the trigger of the light freighters front guns in case of any shots fired at the ship. However, due to the fight on-world, no one down there seemed to notice the ship hovering past. Ravaj lands on the hanger.
"Well, there's nothing here at least." he mumbles and runs over to where he saw the commotion. As he entered the area, he was behind what looked to be some Mugaari pirates. To his right he saw riot control and little to his left he saw a Human and a Whiped.
"Strange..." He then glanced over behind the riot control to see a Hutt, with a blaster, firing at them. "Even more strange." As he concludes his thoughts, a blaster bolt is fired too close to the right of his face for comfort, and he takes cover behind crate behind the pirates.

Zhar's eyes widened when he realized the Jedi boy had done something even more foolish than his intervention between the Hutt and the merchant. The boy had used an old Jedi mind trick on some of the locals, enticing them to fire at the Hutt's entourage of battle droids. "What did you do?!" Zhar bellowed as he gripped Tugoro by the shoulders and might have shook him a little. "Bah!" The Whipid released the boy from his grip and whispered to him though gritted teeth "Do not use your lightsaber if you have one, we cannot give them confirmation that we are Jedi that will only validate their hostile intentions at us more. Pick up one of the fallen droids blasters," Zhar bent down and picked one up that was near his feet and spoke "Set it for stun." He said that as he set his blaster over to stun swell. "Stun the Mugaari that you brought into this fight and stun the troopers too dont let them kill one another. Their lives will not be ended because of you and that Hutt. I will handle the droids and make my way to the Hutt."

Zhar shoved the boy aside, upset that this entire violent scene could have been avoided if he just sided with the Whipid on buttering the Hutt up while negotiating...not start a gang war in the middle of town! Zhar questioned if Tugoro was actually kicked out of the order for recklessness. The Whipid held his electrostaff with one hand, he sent the charged point of his staff into the neck of a droid frying its circuitry. The Whipid counted to himself as he moved to the next droid, four droids remained. Another droid had approached him, Zhar used his staff to smack the blaster out of the droid's metal hands and then took its head off with a powerful swing of the staff. Now three...

The Whipid fired the blaster he carried at a droid that was standing ten feet away, but the droid only twitched for a second or two as it was hit with the blue energy rings. Zhar grunted, he forgot he had set it to stun, the droid was distracted, and so the Whipid took advantage of that at least. He charged the confused droid and got it to the ground by sweeping its feet from underneath it with his staff. The Whipid then stood over the droid and lifted his heavy foot above it and then brining it down with all his might to crush the droid's head and neck. Two droids left, the Whipid noticed the Hutt hiding behind the corner of a building, it was armed, but the only way it could try to fire at the Whipid was if it revealed its self and the Hutt would be making himself a much larger target. Once the droids were all taken out the Whipid would set his cross hair on the Hutt, but two droids remained.

Tugoro would slap away [member='Z'Zharen']'s arm as the Whiphid attempted to shove him, his strength bolstered by the force allowing him to remain balanced. This fool was barking and blaming him for starting the conflict, yet he was the one that had charged in like a complete bantha-brain. "Don't blame this on me! The Muugari were going to interfere either way because you started this!" Tugoro yelled back at Zhar, shaking his head as the being attempted to lecture him. The young man had been at the undercover game far longer than the Whiphid, and thus far Zhar was not doing well at all.

He had been the one to give them away, and had even alluded to them being Jedi after the Hutt's accusation. Not even any denial. Reaching in between his under shirt and jacket, Tugoro would draw his military issued blaster pistol from it's holster, taking quick aim and firing on the assassin droids that remained before running for cover. Pressing himself against the corner of a building, the young Jedi would scope out the area, listening to [member="Kelan The Hutt"] as he called out to the pirates in the area.

The three that had previously attacked came to see the sense in working for the Hutt, now flocking to the slugs aid and setting up a perimeter. With surprising accuracy, Tugoro would destroy the two assassin droids that remained, hopefully buying Z'Zharen enough time to take some cover of his own, as the Muugari pirates began to open fire on their position. Things were looking bad, and it definitely wasn't Tugoro's fault. At least, that was how he saw it.

Even the local law enforcement had gotten involved, their militia moving in and attempting to deal with the Muugari pirates that so often plagued the lands. A massive fire fight had broken out at this point, distracting the group from [member="Ravaj Jaricck"]'s ship that flew overhead. If the Rodian wanted to get involved, he could. Opening a comm channel to Zhar, Tugoro would yell into it. "You can't blame me for this! If I can't draw my saber, we have to run!" The Jedi shouted, not wanting to take on the large force head on without his lightsaber.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member="Kelan The Hutt"] [member="Z'Zharen"]

At this point, Ravaj didn't even want to get involved, there didn't seem to be any Republic activity in the firefight anyway. He couldn't just leave now though because 1.) His ship was still refueling at the hanger. 2.) Running back in the open like that would certainly gain him a shot in the back and certain death. 3.) Those pirates that were behind him were almost beside him, luckily not noticing the Rodian behind the crates.

"Well if you can't leave 'em, join 'em." Ravaj quickly looked down to were his blaster should be only to find it not there. "Are you serious?" He exclaimed in a monotone voice. "Must be in the ship. What do I do now?" Ravaj then glanced at the Whiped through a small crack in the crates who was taking out the two assassin droids quickly. "He certainly isn't on the Hutt's side, but what about my side?" He took a glance at the human as well, who somehow just disappeared from where he was previously standing. Maybe he was dead? Ravaj didn't know.

By now, the human wasn't too far away from Ravaj, as the pirates next to him were all wiped out by the local law riot control squad, that didn't mean there was no more pirates around though. Ravaj suddenly heard the supposed human's yell saying something about running, but Ravaj wasn't too sure if that call to run was for him or the Whiped over comm link, whatever it was, Ravaj would be glad to join them. All he had to do was say he wasn't part of a faction and they'd most likely not kill him... at least until they were at their ships.

Zhar was about to stab one of the remaining droids with his staff, but someone else had fired a blaster bolt into the droid's chest and then right after the final battle droid had been blasted aswell. The Resistance commlink on the Whipid's wrist began to beep and Tugoro's voice came over, apparently he carried a blaster on him already.

The Jedi boy proclaimed he was not to blame, since it was Zhar who charged infront of the Hutt and the merchant. The Whipid shoved the remaining droid to the ground, burnt wiring filled his nostrils and he spoke back into his wrist commlink. "If I did not interefere that merchant would have been killed on the spot, the Hutt's droids were armed to kill. Those other Mugaari had not chosen to fire on us yet when the Hutt bribed them." Speaking of the Hutt, Zhar saw him still hiding behind a wall with a blaster in his grubby hands.

The Whipid would take cover from the Hutt should he try to shoot off some blaster bolts. The Whipid took this moment to explain back at the Jedi boy, "I felt you using a mind trick on them, that was worse than the Hutt bribing them at least then they would have had a choice to fight or not, but you didnt even give them that!" Zhar heard blaster fire from behind him and through their comm channel.

"Now the local authorities will arrest these men, that you instigated into firing by use of the Force! If they chose to attack anyone then we could have been within our rights to self defense, but you controlled their minds and now they will pay the consequences for your actions!" The Whipid grunted and fired his stun blasts towards the Hutt hiding behind the wall. He wondered if he should go back to help the Jedi boy...The Whipid could have handled the droids he did not Tugoro to finish them off. Zhar turned back to his cover behind another building. "Do you need help?" He spoke into the comm, at least he thought to ask before jumping in if the Jedi boy needed help and presuming he was helpless.

Kelan wasn't sure which of those two fools he hated more, the one who had decided to interfere with his business or the one who had started an entire gang war within the camp. As he looked towards the riot control, he noticed a considerable amount of them being taken out. At least he had managed to round up some of the Mugaari pirates to help him get out alive. If he was lucky, he could have rounded a big group of them to permanently join his cartel in the future. Why was he even thinking about that, he could've died on Javin and he was just thinking about expanding his cartel. He had to focus on the task at hand, despite his other thoughts. He quickly resumed taking aim at the authorities and shot a few shots at one of them, taking him down. Throughout the fight, he heard the two troublemakers yelling at each other for who had the main hand in the fight. The Whiphid of course started the whole confrontation, whereas the Human started the firefight which could've been prevented more diplomatically. By that, he means if those two pledged their loyalty.

As he believed that the riot control would have been easily handled by his droids and the pirates, that annoying Jedi Whiphid took out three of his five remaining droids. Those droids aimed right at the Jedi, but were shot down whcih leaving his militia in piles of scraps. He grunted to himself, his whole militia that came with him all became destroyed in one fight. "What does it take to get some decent troops that don't die at the sight of a battle..."

The Whiphid almost approached, and he raised his wrist and began to talk into it, it must have been some sort of communications. He turned to look for his friend, and Kelan tried to use that as an opportunity to attempt to slither away. He may have been slow, but adrenaline definitely helped his speed. If he were to make it back to his camp, he could have officially rallied all of the Mugaari Pirates around the town to show a true display of his power. That is, assuming they wouldn't have skipped town by then.

Tugoro continued to move his way along the marketplace, which had long been abandoned by the vendors who had been peacefully trading until [member="Kelan The Hutt"] showed up. If anything, this was the slugs fault entirely. Though, it hadn't seemed like the Hutt wanted to waste his time killing the man he had stolen from, and so [member='Z'Zharen']'s dramatic entrance was overall uncalled for. If they had tailed the Hutt further into the town into a more secluded area, or even back to the Resistance camp, they could've confronted him there with minimum casualties. Now, a giant fire fight had broken out, the local authorities slowly being pushed back by the gangs of lowlife Muugari who tried to impress the wealthy Hutt.

This conflict had been inevitable since the beginning, if only Tugoro had been in charge. The young Jedi would dart away from the building wall, moving from cover to cover in a gracefully and agile manner. Skidding across the dirt and rolling to halt next to some crates, Tugoro nearly slammed into [member="Ravaj Jaricck"], who had appeared out of nowhere. The young man nearly lifted his blaster pistol at the Rodian, but noticed he bore Republic credentials.

"Thank the force," he exclaimed aloud, sighing as he pressing himself against the crates while blaster bolts flew by their heads. Even though the Hutt had lost his droids, he had gained nearly twice as many Muugari. They had also begun to advance, six of them slowly approaching the group while six remained with the Hutt, making sure to keep their pay cheque safe. "I'm with the Republic as well, can you help us out?" Tugoro questioned, almost begging as he spoke to the Rodian. Hopefully this man would be able to assist them in one way or the other.
