- Waterpoof Casing - Can function underwater.
- Blade power adjustment knob - Allow the wielder to make the blade of the lightsaber more or less powerful to meet the needs of their circumstances.
- Force Attunement -The kyber crystal within the weapon chose Jayce and is thus attuned to him through the Force, making it easier for him to locate the weapons if it is lost.
- Laser Sword - Being a lightsaber, the weapon is capable of cutting through most — if not all — common materials with ease.
- Material Limitations: The weapon possesses no enhancements or modifications that would make it beyond the strength of an ordinary lightsaber, even accounting for the power adjustment knob being dialed to its maximum. As a consequence, lightsaber-resistant materials may pose a challenge for the weapon depending on the material, its thickness, and a host of other factors.
- Shock Pulse: Ion or EMP pulses can knock out or disable the lightsaber's special features. A powerful discharge could even potentially disable the blade itself.
- Force Suppression/Nullification: Because his lightsaber is attuned to him through the Force, abilities and relics that suppress or outright nullify the Force can sever his affinity for and ability to sense the presence of his weapon.
The personal weapon of Jayce Rotsu was designed while he was still a Jedi Youngling. The kyber crystal within it chose him during a Gathering and turned aqua in color. He later encased it in a single bladed weapon, decorated in aurodium alloy plating. Jayce labored longer over his lightsaber than the Younglings of his class, seeking to craft a design that paid homage to the ancient cultures of his homeworld of Haruun Kal. The result was a visually beautiful weapon with a belt loop built into the hilt. The loop itself is part of a cross-like symbol that Jayce claims is an ancient symbol for life and rebirth on Haruun Kal.
