PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Graddle grew up on the marshy planet of Lowick, where life and death are in a constant state of ebb and flow, and the Force is a vibrant and constant presence in nature. As such, she recognized the Force at a very early age and saw the invisible string that connected it to the universe.
Although she was the only Force sensitive of her family, Graddle and her nest recognized it as a very positive energy that needed to be respected.
Her family grew up very close-knit in very primitive and quaint settings within the wetlands, with very little in the way of material wealth or technology.
As such, Graddle is naturally curious about technology, particularly droids. However she finds her center while in nature. Like most of her species, she would prefer to coexist with nature in a peaceful way and preserve whatever planet she is on.
Her family also put the survival of the unit as a whole ahead of their own individual needs. To survive alone was considered a failure; to ensure the survival of the youngest and weakest was something to aspire to. Graddle’s family believed that the strong were made to protect the weak.
She values community, teamwork, cohesion as one fighting unit, the preservation of natural resources, humane treatment of others, and finding inner balance within the Force.
STRENGTHS
Force Cloak
With great concentration, Graddle can “cloak” herself within the Force, becoming invisible to the physical senses of touch, sight, or smell to others for short periods of time. While cloaked, she can still be heard and a Force sensitive would still be able to sense her presence.
Force Lift
Graddle can draw on the Force to perform incredible feats of strength despite her small size. She can lift very heavy objects or piles of debris with a slow drain on her concentration and energy.
Force Dreams
Graddle at times has very vague Force dreams. These can hint at turmoil happening happening on a nearby planet, or could include very brief snippets of something terrible that happened recently.
There are no hard and fast rules to these dreams, but generally they only provide vague whispering that would require further physical investigation. For example, she could narrow a truly terrible act down to one planet, and perhaps a shadow of the figure who committed it, but it is a very fleeting glimpse.
Hibernation Trance
Under extreme stress or damage, Graddle would be able to slip into a hibernation trance. For Force users this will slow the heartbeat and metabolism, helping to heal the body and regenerate energy faster. If a toxin were in the system, the heartbeat would slow so much that the body could trick the toxin into believing the host has died, rendering it ineffective after some time.
Although a vulnerable state like this leaves a Jedi open to attack, it helps to relax the mind and open them up to information and revelations that they could not access during their waking hours.
WEAKNESSES
Small in Stature
Being less than three feet tall, Graddle’s size presents unique perspectives and challenges. During lightsaber combat, using Form IV, her short stature can leave her open to attacks from much taller opponents. For this reason, she is a much more effective defensive fighter rather than going on the attack.
Sensory limitations
Because she was born underwater, for some reason, there are aspects of Graddle’s body that did not develop for land. Underwater she would be able to speak just fine and can hold her breath for extended periods.
However, on dry land she is mute, as her speaking mechanisms did not develop sufficiently for land. As a result, she can only make grunts to communicate verbally.
Instead, she relies on sending out her thoughts via telepathy. These thoughts wold sound like a voice to Force sensitives. However to regular folk they would not be able to hear her, so she must rely on visual cues and gestures.
Limited Knowledge of Technology/Culture
Having grown up with virtually no technology, Graddle is both perplexed and fascinated by technology of any sort. The only device she is familiar with is her lightsaber.
Similarly, she knows only life on Lowick and service among the Jedi. She relies on an R2 unit to pilot her ship because she would have to rely on the Force to operate any ships otherwise, which would be exhausting.
Inability to Mask Presence
For some reason, perhaps because the Force burns brightly within her, Graddle would be unable to hide her Force presence within a crowd. This would be disaster for an undercover mission if a Sith or dark-sider were present because they would be able to track her light in the Force, like a smell.

HISTORY
Born on the swampy Outer Rim world of Lowick, Graddle grew up in a large, primitive family that nested in mossy tree stumps overlooking the marsh.
They relied on each other for survival and were extremely cautious of contact with anyone outside of Lowick. Growing up hunting fish and frogs with quaint fishing weapons, Graddle learned to communicate with the native Pa’lowick species to trade for goods and medicine.
Her species being especially long-lived and hardy on swamp worlds, her family was a very large nest that occupied miles of land. Despite the large number, she was the only known Force-sensitive born of her family within the years of 600-800 ABY.
Her family recognized the Force as the most essential energy in the universe and centered it at the forefront of their beliefs. Supporting the family was essential, as well as helping their neighbors and fostering positive relationships with the planet itself.
At around the age of one hundred Graddle was considered fully grown; her connection to the Force sharpened, and she began to have Force dreams.
These dreams depicted various people in robes performing acts of service; such as Jedi aiding Bothans recuperating on Bothawui from a virus.
Intrigued by these visions, and inspired to help others in the vast expanse of worlds she had not yet seen, Graddle made the decision to leave Lowick and her family.
They were joyful of such a selfless decision, for they had taught her to help others all her life. Knowing she would not see them again, but remain connected through the Force, she left.
She spent a century working among the Jedi for the Galactic Alliance; participating in small operations to help slaves and groups under attack from pirates.
Eventually her Force dreams led her to the planet Veridia, where she had several visions of a Jedi Academy and teaching groups of younglings.
She arrived on-planet a few days before the school opened, and was selected as one of the crèche Masters.
