Jedi Academy (Open)

Jedi Academy, Ossus

Callie had just finished a training session with a master, she'd begun to learn the basics of telekinesis having already learnt a fair bit of telepathy. Her and her brothers were latecomers at the Academy and hadn't had the opportunity to train there as a child as younglings did. But they were all more than willing to learn, nonetheless.

The Padawan entered the courtyard, wearing the standard Jedi attire, tan in colour, not particularly liking darker colours. She had some time to kill and intended to spend it the way she always had, out in the open. There weren't many people out in the courtyard, they were all probably working since that what you came to a school to do...

Callie pulled herself up onto a high branch of a tree on the edge of the courtyard and sat against the tree trunk, a book in her lap. It wasn't uncommon for her to do this, though it was for other people. She held out her hand in front of her and attempted to lift a small rock on the ground using the force. She frowned in concentration and slowly it rose a few centimetres and hovered there. The Padawan smiled, pleased with herself.

Jaret approached his sister, watching her use the force. He didn't wear any a Jedi attire, as he had no master. Instead he wear simple brown pants, a cream undershirt, topped with a brown shirt split down the center. "On our way to becoming a knight are we? Your doing good." Not that he was an expert, but encouragement is always good.

Callie dropped the rock and turned to the person who had spoken to her, she wasn't surprised to see her brother standing there. "I'm not as good as all of the other Padawans." She said with a sigh. "How are you doing?" She asked, opening the book and not really looking at Jaret.

"Well-" He looked to where the rock fell and strectched out his hand with his palm open. The rocket would only slightly vibrate on the floor. "Well not good at all." He look up to see his sister reading. "Am I disturbing you?" He kicked the rock with his foot gently. Letting it roll around a few steps ahead of him.

Having taken time out to relax she walked along the courtyard she noted the other two padawans near by and slowly approached them. "Hey didn't think anybody else got away from their studies long enough to hang out." She joked to them.

Callie watched him for a moment before turning back to her book. "Well everyone has to start somewhere." She said reassuringly. "No, I was just finishing this chapter." She said, closing her book and jumping down from the tree in front of him.

Jaret turned to look at who spoke, taking it Catherine. "Some of us are just lucky I guess." Although he had no studies to do, he still liked to try using to Force. He quickly stretched out his hand for a handshake. "The names Jaret Sha'Co, that up there is my sister, Callie."

She smiled and took his hand shaking it. "Catherine Soja." She spoke the young woman with her athletic if somewhat petite looks wore her typical dark green robes and a set of jedi combat armor. It had some marks from combat but nothing savre obviously from fights past. "I myself am here to relax a tad then try to find myself a new master. It's been challenging to say the least."

He let out a small bark of laughter. "It seems everyone is in search of a new master." He looked around half hoping for some Jedi Masters to appear. "What happened to your old master?" He asked out of curiosity, aware of the war with the Sith.

"Hi." Callie said with a smile towards the girl. She shoved het book into her brother's arms and held her hand out towards [member="Catherine Soja"]. "We need masters too." The Padawan said quietly. "Though I am still taking classes, of course."

Xiaphia scans the surrounding area for his younger siblings, upon find [member="Callie Sha'Co"][member="Jaret Sha'Co"] he waves his hand high in the air.

Approaching them calmy. "Hey you two, I found out you were here off mum and dad. I was close by so I though I might drop in and say hi." He leans againsts the tree where Callie is sitting. "And who is your friend?"

[member="Catherine Soja"]

Callie wrapped her legs around the branch and hung upside down to ruffle her eldest brother's hair. "It's good to see you again." she said with a smile before looking back at Catherine. "This is Catherine, she's a Padawan." she said to answer the question. "I can use the force, Xiaphia, well... slightly." she said quietly. It wasn't new for them to know they were force sensitive, it was expected of them with a force sensitive father.

With a full schedule ahead of her, Sabena walked through the courtyard on her way to her next task - some extracurricular training with a lightsaber with Master Soraka. While the Jedi Master was ancient, she still had enough knowledge in order to help students such as Sabena that needed the extra practice.

As Sabena walked through the courtyard, she turned her head toward the slowly growing group - which included [member="Callie Sha'Co"], [member="Xiaphia Sha'co"], [member="Jaret Sha'Co"], and [member="Catherine Soja"]. Sabena slowed down momentarily as she looked over in their direction - as if to determine what exactly they were doing or talking about.

Cadan quickly caught the book and looked up to his brother a question forming in his eyes. Jaret always needed to know thing. "Why are you here?" He practically spat the question out, due to his excitement at seeing his brother. He began to shake his head "Not that I'm not please! I'm just curious." He began as he tried to reasure his brother. "I mean weren't you meant to be somewhere with the military? Are you on leave?" How's mum and dad?" Jaret began to bombard his brother with questions.

Xiphia Smiles to his little brothers reaction "Calm down Brother I'm delivering cargo here from Naboo, I'm just stopping by. Mum and Dad are fine."

Xiaphia Looks over to Callie "That's excellent news Callie, I'm glad your improving. and it's nice to meet you Catherine." He Sits down on the ground crossing his legs placing a bag in front of him.

Callie rolled her eyes and smiled at Jaret's reaction. "Calm down Jaret, you need to... chill." she laughed and dropped down from the tree, narrowly avoiding Xiaphia. "Please don't leave again." she said, sitting down besides him. "Stay here with us." she looked towards him hopefully. "And don't leave me with Jaret." she whispered jokily as she put her head on her brother's shoulder.

"My master left the republic I refused to follow." She stated flatly. "Far as the force well whats it your having trouble with?" She asked hearing one of them had issues using the force beyond a little.
