To all my Jedi peeps, the newly formed Council has been working it's tails off for you guys. So far we have been looking at ways to get more Jedi other than those focused on combat involved. It has been heavily discussed that we would like to get a more well rounded approach to the Jedi, as they should be seen as Guardians of peace and justice. So the below bullet points should help reflect the more well rounded approach we wish to see take place.
- Feena will be heading up the diplomatic Jedi, so if your character is of that discipline then please see her with ideas or if you would like some.
- Kalia will be heading up healers, and should you have ideas or need ideas for missions. She's the woman to see.
- Those looking for peacekeeping need to see good old Ben Watts, as he is as Jedi as you can possibly be. I also fall under this role, and you can PM us both if you want to get involved that way.
- For those Jedi struggling with the darkside, please see Master Sky Kerberos, as she can assist you. Remember, we are under government regulation now and if we go off the deep end. All Jedi in violation of the laws, such as killing innocent lives will be prosecuted very heavily.
- Currently we have no agricultural Jedi, and we'd like to change that. Should any want to step forward please do.
- To all Padawans and Knights, if you wish to get on the fast track for promotions. Get involved in faction events and dominions. Yes we do read a lot of the threads on SWRP, but to be truly noticed, we need to see good active members. Plus, it's quite nice to roleplay with everyone in the faction when given the chance.
- A quick response team, named Adamant Company has been formed. Currently it is a four man team of combat oriented Jedi, who are firmly on the lightside. Should you wish to throw your name in the hat for a future mission with us, or to be looked at as a possible alternate/future member please PM me.
- We are going to formalize the Jedi Shadows with Selena Halycon in charge of them, although with an emphasis on finding darkside artifacts and temples. So that they can be regulated or disposed of. The shadows will not be Sith hunters, as that just strays way to close to the darkside for anyone on the Council's liking. This will also help those with archeological backgrounds, or emphasis for peaceful artifact finding missions.
- Also, please do remember all Jedi are citizens of the Republic and subject to her laws. Yes we are protectors of the peace, and guardians of all that's right...but the Senate can seriously prosecute us should they see instances of law breaking. It's a check to our power, and what separates us from the Sith, so do be mindful
- One last note, Jedi will not be allowed to run for any government positions. As that just ruins chances for the players who want to roleplay as political characters. Should you have your eyes on office, please make an alt.
