The Dark Man
Courage
Name:
- Jedi Enclave (Nar Shaddaa)
Intent:
- To provide a safe haven for Jedi on Nar Shaddaa
Location:
Affiliation:
- The Jedi Order
- The Galactic Republic
- For the Nar Shaddaa Enclave, the luxury of the Jedi is a thing of the past. Built towering over the Undercity, it is dwarfed by the immense starscrapers and cloudcutters that surround it. The warehouse was bought by the Galactic Republic due to its close proximity to the Undercity, where much of the criminal activities take place. A small sect of Jedi were placed here in an attempt to curb criminal activities on the planet and change the face that represents the criminal underworld. Built from solid durasteel and titanium, the ages had not been kind to it resulting in heavy rusting.
- Much like other Enclaves of ages past, this Enclave is dictated by a small council but is ultimately responsible to the Grandmaster. This small council designates missions to Jedi's and handles local government affairs, utilising the combined knowledge of the small council. It enacts as not only a safe haven, but as a training and defence facility for the Jedi Order.
- The warehouse-turned-enclave is separated into three decks. The upper deck contains the primary conference room, a smaller conference room and living accommodations for Jedi visiting or living at the sanctuary. Situated in the primary conference room is a table that can display holograms through the use of a holoprojector. From here one is able to access city archives for the purposes of studying the city layout and infrastructure, along with recognised building blueprints. The smaller conference and living quarters were located on either side of this primary conference room, where typically the small council would convene to detail a new mission.
- The mid-deck is the point of entry for the Jedi, with two long bridges leading off into the Corellian and Refugee Sectors. The mid-deck itself was made up of the central access point that allowed visitors to travel to the upper or lower deck via turbolifts or the optional staircase. The remaining space of the mid-deck was laid with four rooms; a medical bay, training facility, cafeteria and bathrooms.
- The lower deck is perhaps the most insignificant of the three decks, and holds the least amount of foot traffic. The large room once acted as a cargo hold for transport vessels and freighters, but now has become a hanger for small single-occupant aircraft and speeders.
History:
- Prior to the ownership of the Republic, the building had long been out of use. There is little known about the building, but it is believed to have been a storage facility / warehouse.
