"A Dramatic Force-Blessed Myth"
I personally hate sounding hasty or impatient, but to would anyone happen to know the average time it takes for a padawan to have a training thread responded to? The rules say I need a master to become a knight, and with that in mind, I'd love to have someone teach me so I can advance.

I'm sorry that someone hasn't responded to your thread.

I have an offer for you, though. I can help with training your character's ability to fight. Just start a duel thread with me and I'll see what I can do.

Thank you. However, though my character loves to learn fighting techniques, he's more interested in learning force techniques. Still, the training is incredible news for me.

I see you're new around here. Allow me to introduce myself. Josh DragonsFlame, Knight, Council Member, Weaponmaster. Overall badass in general.

Now with that out of the way, lets look at your statement here.

You see, if you have a training thread set up with a Master, there is no set time for replies. It all depends on the writer. Doesn't matter if it's a training thread, it's still a roleplay with another writer.

If you're LOOKING for a Master for a training through, meanwhile... I'm sure there are Jedi Knights and Masters that will come see you eventually if you are patient. Patience is a virtue in the Jedi, that's your life lesson of the day. Learn it, adapt it, use it.

Also, you don't NEED a Master to be knighted. Participate in dominions to get noticed. A Master IS a big help and an educational experience though. I got my Master at the very end of my Padawanship, just a day or so before my Knighting. All I needed at that point was to get noticed, which the Master helped with.

If you need anything else, feel free to contact me.

DragonsFlame, out.

Thank you for the advice. I'll admit patience is one of my lesser qualities. But knowing that I'm not the only one who ended up being for the most part, self trained, helps a great deal.

If you're desperate, get on the skype chat and talk to people. Socialize, be a MAN. Or at least ask if anyone can train you. Either one works.

Kzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Out.
