Jedi Group Training: Areas of Control and Meditation [Open]

She took it upon herself to expand her classes and take on multiple padawan at the same time. Masters were low, and knights were as well. As an instructor it was her job to assist in the aspects of learning. She normally only took one apprentice at any one time, but there was a need for more Knights, especially with the growing sith threat. If they bolstered their numbers they could teach as well, and so on. Everyone was welcome to join as she had made it public that she was going to be holding such classes.

She would be teaching the basics today, and getting to know her apprentices at the same time. She was always the one to get down to business and as the training poceeded the relationships built would as well. Her ideals were that she would teach things at random, skills they may use and skills they may find unuseful, but it was the experience they needed. Lessons would get better as time went on, but one wasn't going to be able to jump right into any area without having knowledge of another.

She would wait in silence, standing near a large window which gave view of Voss.

Noriko moved, it wasn't something she always enjoyed but the idea of coming about and joining in a group class was worth it. Might learn something for herself as she went moving through the halls and rolled her shoulders. "THis master is quite a fun one according to my cousin." She spoke more to herself then others and entered the room brushing her hair behind her ear while running a hand over the shaved section. She looked at [member="Sochi Ru"] and bowed her head with a smile. "Master Ru"

It had been the first time since the young Mars traveled outside of Eldiria to learn his calling. He had found himself being attuned to the ways of the mystical force, and he was found by an Order known as The Order of the Silver Jedi. The thought of becoming a Jedi Knight, or even a Master at one point was a peculiar adventure for Cael. One that would take alot of hard work and learning. The order's trainee known as Master Ru would be the first to begin his initiation into the order as she recruited him along with other Padawans of his kind to learn and train to be a Jedi Knight. He walked up into the room which was already occupied by another Padawan who was bowing and greeting Master Ru. Cael stood back for a second before deciding to enter or wait to introduce himself.

Esiri followed silently along with the others through the halls. She was anxious to start training under the tutelage of Master Ru but yet very nervous.

She stopped in the doorway into the room. There was a young lady speaking with Master Ru. Moving back, she saw that there was also a young man waiting to speak with Master Ru. Esiri would wait patiently outside the room for her turn, for it would have been rude for her to intrude or for her to go before the young man. He had arrived before her.

The sound of others coming filled the room. She would turn to greet them all, one in particular an Ike girl, she had heard of her. She knew some if her family members. She approached the young girl, meeting her half way. She let go a subtle smile, one most welcoming and assuring. She bowed her head to return the bow, "Welcome" she said in her soft and exotic form of speech. When she turned to look it seemed there were others who seemed to be waiting to greet her. She saw two others a young woman and a male. She smiled at them both, and greeted them both at the same time since they were right behind one another.

"Welcome you two, Im Master Ru, please come in." she said motioning with her hands for them both to enter. As they both walked past she would softly place her hand on their shoulders. She wanted them to feel comfortable with her, as they would be spending much time together.

Cael was very intrigued and blessed by Master Ru's warm welcome. His eyes met hers as she wore the most welcoming smile saying, "Welcome you two, Im Master Ru, please come in." Caelius turned around noticing another Padawan standing behind him, similar to what he had done earlier when the other padawan arrived.

Caelius flashed a warm smile at the female padawan behind him, as he walked forward. Master Ru placed her hand on his shoulder and the female padawan's, giving him a sense of welcoming and acceptance. Cael rarely had that back home on Eldiria, with the expectancy that he'd rather become some political figure, self taught in the force, than desert them to wander on his own. It didnt matter anyway, this was for his benefit, and his only.

Noriko gave a nod of her head and looked at the others who had appeared. There was quite a sight to see while she moved off to the side a little and was preparing herself. Whatever master Ru could teach her she was ready and focusing on the people while she commited them to her own memory. She looked down with a tilt of her head and was ready to begin. "THank you for this lesson master Ru."

She was offering to take them all on as her padawans, but she would teach them in groups. She wasn't sure if they all would stick with her, but that was fine, this wasn't something mandatory, and they may only find some of these skills useful to them. After meeting and greeting with some of them she made her way to front of the room. Her robes would sway and drag on as she moved. Turning to look upon the group, she analyzed them. This number will do. Her index finger went into the air to signal herself speaking.

"Alright, welcome. First, just to further explain the process here, I will be training you all. I will teach you multiple skills that may come in handy later in your careers as Jedi. Usually this will be the setting for all of our sessions, but your free to come to me individually if there's something you personally have in mind to learn. I will teach you all to work just as good in groups as you would individually. If your planning on sticking with these sessions, please by all means get to know one another, you'll be working closely together." she said softly, and smiling at them. She always longed to train multiple students at once, they all shall see how this fairs. As she paced back and forth she gave a small nod to [member="Noriko Ike"] .

"Now, lets begin shall we? Now the areas of control, these branches will serve as a basis later on in your careers as Jedi when you choose, if you choose to specialize. Some of you may want to be healers, others may want to become investigators, where using the force to dampen ones presence is vital." she said as she paced between them. Her voice was soft as always, and her exotic speech only added another layer.

"The branches consist of Tutaminis which is related to energy absorption. Next is Curato Salva which deals with self-healing. Last but not least, Altus Sopor which allows one to increase their focus on the force, which could potentially lead to the user merging with the force to become invisible to the eye. These basic building blocks of the force aren't hard to grasp, so do not worry. Everyone take a seat get comfortable." she said walking back to the front before smiling at [member="Esiri Kepporra"] and [member="Caelius Mars"]

Noriko looked at Sochi as she spoke and mingled for a few moments with each of them. It was nice to see a master who was willing to take on several students and she sat down when directed. Letting her robes go around her and making sure her hair was framing the side of her face. The different aspects of being a jedi were interesting o hear about and she was looking towards what she could do well. She knew her cousin was good at altering and Nico had shown a great deal of skill in other parts. Then enhancing their own minds was a natural thing. All she needed to do now was listen to what her master had to say

This was a strange time, a different one almost it seemed and Matsu stood in the room. For the first time she really didn't know what to do as she raised her hands and checked them. They had been stronger, so much stronger and now she rolled had lost much of what had made her a jedi. The force taken from her but thanks to her own personal journey and risks from others she had relearned some of it. Establishing a connection to the force again had trials, had risk but being able to move under her own power was more worthwhile.

That was why she had come back to starring at her hands and wrapping them up while she checked her sarashi and kimono allowing a breath to come from her mouth. With a small tight lipped smile Matsu moved and secured a tight black outfit. Allowing her hair to come down to the small of her back and took the training saber. The synthetic silver crystal acting as one of the few things she had left while she walked and entered the room.

She saw Sochi and gave a bow while taking a seat and listening to her.

[member="Sochi Ru"]
Caira walked in. She glanced around the room to see a small group of attentive students. Their curiosity for some reason, cause Caira to cringe. The last thing she wanted was to be apart of a group of question askers. She wanted to learn but Caira didn't want her time to be wasted by people asking stupid questons.

She tried to listen to Master Sochi, but her mind was so distracted. She was actually doing this. Training to be a Jedi. Maybe one day she would go against the Sith. That idea terrified her but at the same time thrilled her. She wanted to prove to her brother that she wasn't worthless and that she wasn't something that you just got a better offer for.

She felt herself clenching her fists, until she looked up at the Jedi Master, glowing with the force. She relaxed her hands and focused her attention on Master Sochi. If she wanted to prove herself, she would have to listen. In order to show her brother who she could be. Caira would have to stop and listen to her superior, no matter how much that pained her. She couldn't help but feeling like this was Zagan's fault. If Zagan hadn't left, Caira wouldn't be in this situation where she was forcing herself to treat an authority with respect. But at the same time if Zagan hadn't left, Caira wouldn't even be here to start with.

She couldn't tell if Zagan leaving her was a good thing or bad thing in the long run.

As everyone began to take their seats, so did she. Crossing her legs, and placing her arms on her legs to rest. Then there was the arrival of another. A student she hadn't the pleasure of getting know on a more personal level. Well this was a start. She was looking to train a group at once, together. She smiled at the Padawan, "Welcome, thanks for joining us," as she said that she motioned for her to join the others.

"Now, first you all must learn how to gain the control you need of your emotions. As Jedi, it's our duty to protect. This might mean participating in numerous conflicts where fighting on the front lines is the only option. If you become lost in the anger, frustration, pain, and confusion you won't be able to focus, and will become more susceptible to falling to the darkside. You all must learn to develop a emotional anchor. This starts with The Meditation of Emptiness. You must center yourself, purge all the negative emotions of now, and force them out." she said closing her eyes for the moment! and hoping they all followed her mannerisms.

Caira felt slightly overwhelmed by Master Sochi's kindness. It was something she wasn't used to and for some reason she didn't want to get used to it. Her entire life had been based on people being rude and unkind. She had began to lose hope that there were still nice people in the world. Caira forced a smile back to the master as she sat down and attempted to pay attention.

Caira looked at Master Sochi slightly confused as she spoke. How would anyone learn to gain control of their emotions. It seemed like a silly and stupid thing to do. Emotions were what made us human. Were the Jedi supposed to become inhuman? Caira glanced around the room wondering if the other students were listening and doing what the master said.

The pang of her past hit her like a ton of bricks. She grudgingly remembered that in order to prove herself she would have to understand and actually participate, no matter how silly and stupid she found the lessons to be. Slowly Caira closed her eyes in order to mimic the master.

Matsu listened to Sochi's teachings and gave a nod of her head. Slowly her mind flashed to fighting and being asked to help in the war... and then being thrown to the wolves because she did as asked. Her hands clasped together in front of her body and Matsu inwardly focused letting herself recite the jedi code until any thoughts of turmoil fell away into complete serenity, her face remaining blank and expressionless. Her eyes slowly opened and Matsu let her thoughts go to the solari crystals she had that never reacted to her in a negative way... Which countered claims about her using the darkside. "Understood"

"You never wanna act on emotions such as anger, never hurt out of spite, and to avoid thus we use techniques such as this. Emotions can see you become more susceptible to the dark side, and opposing force user will exploit these weaknesses, and believe me, that isn't something you. Battling manipulation and the dark side are no easy task." she said opening her eyes! this however was only a basis to prepare for the other lessons to come. With them having control of some aspects they could focus to a higher degree.

After allow a spare moment for them to continue with their meditations she began to speak out once again. The concept wasn't hard to grasp, but....if a user had inner demons of the sort, using this can become rather difficult, as they would have to re-live those memories, and emotions.

"Believe me, this technique can come in handy. I wouldn't steer any of you in the wrong direction. Now, Curato Salvo, associated with Self-Healing. When channeling the force, you must use it to get in tune with the functions of your body. Allow the force to flow throught your entire body to seek out the wounds you have sustained. Your not hurt, but one can still practice sensing the current state of their own bodies. Everyone try this." she said standing and beginning to walk. With their greater focus from just purging, they should be able to easily grasp this next concept.

[member="Sochi Ru"] had started to talk again. Caira opened her eyes after not doing what was told and expected of her. It all seemed pointless. It couldn't really be that easy to fall to the darkside. Why would she have to take all the precautions for something that will most likely never happen in her life.

Sochi Ru said:

Caira groaned silently to herself. She hated learning all these basics and set ups. She hated learning the little tips and tricks to controlling the force. She wanted to see battle, she wanted to see action. She didn't want to take the time to be prepared. She just wanted to go.
As Caira listened to the words, she decided that this trick could probably come in handy and she attempted. Due to her lack of judgement and responsibility in not doing the last command. Caira sat there struggling with the task at hand as her own thoughts plagued her.

She could sense the stress of the newest arrival as she walked around. She wondered what the issue could have been. Sochi made her way over to the young girl and sat beside her, not only as a master, but hopefully as a friend, someone she can learn to trust in. Sitting down beside the girl, she wasn't sure if she would sense her or not, but maybe her presence was felt just because.

She place a hand on the shoulder of [member="Caira Zee"] , hopefully she didn't offend her. "Dear, what's wrong? I can sense your struggle. What's on your mind?" she would finish this small conversation before moving on with the class entirely. Others surely were making progress, but no student would be left behind.

Caira flinched when [member="Sochi Ru"] touched her shoulder. She looked up at the master. "Uh. It doesn't seem to be working." She told the master, slightly lying.

No one had wanted to help her since Zagan left. Caira didn't know how to react. It just seemed for bizarre to her. Once again she was shocked by the kindness of the people around her. She didn't know what to think.

"Shouldn't this be easy," She grumbled out loud. Caira hated getting pity and to her this helpfulness felt like pity. "I'll figure it out," She added to the end a little quieter. Caira was starting to wonder, is this really what she wanted?

(I apologize for the wait)

Her eyes grew wider, and she had just a subtle humorous expression on her face. It seems she had a tough one on her hands, she would receive the same compassion nonetheless. Her deception was evident, but maybe she found this aspect of the training boring, in truth not many apprentices liked it, but she wanted to teach abilities to ensure their survival, and help them succeed in their careers. She wanted to make this young lady feel welcomed, and loved in a sense.

"Dear, just relax. Just try not to get flustered. We can work on this a little more later if you so choose, not everyone loves these lessons, which is why I put them first. I promise you'll succeed." she said placing a hand in her shoulder once more and then lifting from her kneeling position.

As she walked, she continued to look upon her students, "Now, let's move on to the next area. Altus sopor. Focus on the force, immerse yourself within it, don't force it. Just allow the transition to move along smoothly."

Matsu let out a breath as Sochi continued to speak and she held her own focus, wanting to allow it all to flow through all of her body. She could feel it in the fibers of her muscles and down into her bones as the pain she usually felt became a dull ache. There was many reasons she could be serene and calm is all things but it was because of this.. that lightness she needed for her damaged and battered body. Turning her head up Matsu released a breath and expelled the force from her core before deeply inhaling.
