Jedi group training

I'm running a little group training session, covering some obscure and useful little Force abilities, in the Yavin Academy thread. This is open to all Jedi regardless of faction. Considering there's a game of tag involved, Padawans or young Knights would probably be appropriate.

I am heavily debating on joining, but I'm not sure if I'd be allowed since I'm with the Order of the Grey, and not a Jedi related faction, it would be a good chance for me to get training for Gaila,Rae though, since currently she has no force training

Sorry, for IC reasons the Order of the Gray isn't welcome on Yavin IV.

Glad I checked first though, since it would have been akward if I joined without checking .

A faction change might be in order though, since the Order of the Grey has kinda died out sadly :/. Some reading on both Jedi factions might also be needed, so I can actually get a better picture of them both before I decide anything.

Well look, here's how it works in a nutshell, after several schisms.

Some Jedi belong to the Republic.

Other ones belong to the Silver Jedi Order.

Other ones belong to the Levantine Sanctum.

Other Jedi aren't part of any of the three - the independents.

Other Jedi are part of more than one of the above.

The Jedi Academy minor faction, and specifically the main academy at Yavin IV, doesn't care about any of those faction allegiances, and actively includes instructors and students from all of the above. It also includes representatives from a few other Light Side-oriented Force traditions.

Ah, well I guess that kinda explains all the Jedi factions to me, I am kinda leaning towards the Republic though, since I've never actually made a character in that faction :/.

Meh, if I really need to think this hard about it then I can wait to choose for a bit, so I can see more of each faction and can actually think about what one Gaila'Rae would choose IC wise.

(EDIT: the Techno Union might actually steal me away after I looked through some of their stuff , their tactics are just as good as the CIS', give you a bunch of shiny stuff upon arrival so you can wait to submit anything, and it's working again too... And I'm not too sure about the republic anymore :\)
