Personality: Friendly, intelligent, soft-spoken. Koras is still a young Jedi Knight. Like many Jedi Shadows, he wasn't overly strong in the force as a student or an exceptional swordsman but rather displayed an aptitude for stealth and secrecy. Koras prefers to come and go without leaving a trace.
Weapon of Choice: His lightsaber, built when he was a padawan. See image below.
Combat Function: Koras is a practitioner of Niman, as he prefers to focus his attention on his duties as a Shadow instead of training in lightsaber combat. Since taking on Soli Baris as his apprentice, and with the growing menace of the Sith, Kian has continued to work with both Jedi Qual and Baris in refining their fighting abilities. When together, the two Jedi (Koras and Soli) work well together having been training together for some time. Soli's Ataru and Koras' Niman compliment each other well. Koras, like many Niman practitioners, fights with a combination of lightsaber and telekinetic techniques.

Other Notes: Jedi Knight Koras Qual, like many Jedi, was brought to the Academy when he was a mere child. Training among the Jedi of the Order, Koras was noted as nothing exceptional by many of the instructors and was an older student before finally being taken on as a padawan under the guidance of a Jedi Master. His master, struck down in combat with the One Sith, had almost trained Koras to knighthood before his death. Kian, stepping in, oversaw the remainder of Koras's training unofficially and saw the young Jedi raised to Knight.
Kian, seeing in him the signs of a Jedi Shadow, introduced Koras to the secretive sect of Jedi and began to hone the man's abilities. It wasn't long before Koras was running Shadow operations on his own and training padawans aboard the Gnost Dural. When Soli Baris, another student Kian saw Shadow potential in, Kian brought her to Koras's attention and he began to take an interest in the girls training. It wasn't long before Koras had officially taken Soli Baris on as his padawan-learner and the two have been inseparable ever since.
Both Soli and Koras can be found aboard the Gnost Dural at any given time, usually working closely with Kian Karr or training the next generation of Jedi Shadows.
