PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: Early One Hundred Twenties
Force Sensitivity: Master
Species: Whiphid
Appearance: B’rahk is considered short for his toweringly tall species, standing around two hundred twenty centimeters in height. His weight fluctuates, but he has a lean, athletic build befitting that of a duelist. He is covered in thick brown fur, greying around his eyes and muzzle which betrays his advancing age. His arms and torso bear dozens of scars from decades of conflict. B’rahk has stern features and impassive, studious green eyes.
He usually wears Jedi Robes, the iconic light brown tunic and trousers under a long brown robe. Even when not in battle he is usually seen wearing his gauntlets and greaves on his forearms and lower legs. In battle he will usually wear a full set of Jedi Battle Armor.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: B’rahk
Titles:
Wealth: B’rahk has never cared much for credits or possessions. If he cannot wear it or use it in combat, he has not kept it and uses only the minimum he is required to from any requisitions he is provided by the Jedi Remnant for himself.
Notable Possessions: B’rahk owns a set of Type-I Jedi battle armor made from Laminanium when going into battle, or a set of Jedi Robes or street clothes depending on the situation. B’rahk usually does not wear the bodyglove over his fingers or chest due to the discomfort it causes with his fur, forgoing it unless circumstances require its use as he can make due with temporary applications of the Force. He makes use of Blasters when necessary, being of a pragmatic mind, preferring the DXR-6 Disruptor Pistol as a sidearm when operating in the field.
His Lightsaber is his life, crafted with a sturdy Beskar hilt with dual-phase blade settings, bifurcating cyclical ignition, and a high-intensity blade emitter built around a green Kyber crystal and Dantari crystal he recovered before the end of the Four Hundred Year Darkness. This modification allows the blade's intensity and cutting power to drastically increase for short periods of time, making the blade capable of cleaving and cutting Beskar, Phrik, and other metals which are usually Lightsaber Resistant. He also carries a green bladed Lightsaber Shoto with a broad blade usually used for blocking.
Skills: B’rahk focuses his skills around his abilities as a swordsman, being heralded as a master of the weapon. He trains regularly in the seven classical forms and the three New Jedi Order styles, though he has a preference for Shien and Djem So due to his natural strength and size. As a Force Wielder he shows no expertise in any division or category of the Force, though he has the fundamentals and basics of the New Jedi Order style down and refined to enhance his combat effectiveness in any given situation.
In most fields not related to direct combat, B’rahk is passable at best, the only exception being his skills as a tactician. He is not a grand strategist or battlefield commander, but instead a reliable Corps Officer, able to lead allies onto the field of battle personally and direct them with admirable efficiency and inspiring courage through his own resolve.
Personality: Whereas some Jedi are fonts of knowledge that radiate peace and tranquility, B’rahk is a warrior first and foremost, radiating conviction and calm. Some have called him a warmonger, as he believes that quick, decisive actions against darkness and evil has become necessary to protect the people of the galaxy the Jedi are charged with. He advocates heavily for proactive strategies and offensive strikes against the Sith and other Darksiders in the understanding that such actions would limit or reduce their ability to bring suffering to others. He has a straightforward, even militaristic view of the Jedi Code, openly calling some tenants ‘foolishness disguised as mercy and honor’ but is pragmatic and determined to make a difference in the galaxy.
B’rahk believes he has a duty to the galaxy to help it due to his being given the power to do so, and considers the Force has provided him with the unfaltering will necessary to shoulder that burden, no matter what the personal costs may be. He has a rigid ideal of what his purpose in the universe is, and follows it through to the end.
B’rahk is slow to trust, and rarely provides those that have betrayed his trust with a second opportunity to do so. He is harsh, tough, and stoic, though not cruel. He has few friends, and those he does bond to, he will open up to and even make the occasional joke with. However he does not believe it is his responsibility to protect the next generation of Jedi Knights, but to prepare them for the horrible reality of war.
COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice: Lightsaber | The Force
Combat Function: B’rahk is a master of the Lightsaber, having focused his studies around its use for his entire life. In battle, he prefers to close with an opponent and batter through their defenses with coordinated strikes, and when leading others he operates in much the same fashion.
Strengths:
B’rahk was born on the harsh arctic Outer Rim world of Rothana before the Four Hundred Year Darkness had fully lifted. Born small for his species, B’rahk was instead blessed with a natural predisposition for combat, being lean and fast compared to others of his species while still possessing significant strength. The Force honed his senses and reflexes even from a young age, leading to him having said he was chosen for his duty to his people, and later the Galaxy when he was taken in by the Jedi Order during his adolescence. As a warrior and hunter in his tribe, B’rahk was known to hold a reverence for life, honoring the beasts he slew for consumption, but was not unwilling to meet conflict with others.
While still young, he was taken in by scouts from the Jedi Order of the Galactic Republic and raised as a Padawan within their Temples. Several times he was discouraged from his combative ways and attempts by many mentors were made to turn him into a more passive and peaceful being. However, he never shied away from being called a warrior or a soldier, holding the conviction that sometimes Jedi were required to fill those roles and better it be someone like him that was made for such a lifestyle than a librarian with a glowstick forced into it. Unlike many of his fellows, he developed a strong and pragmatic outlook on the Jedi Code and its tenets that would shape his mindset and later make him one of the Pillars of the Jedi Remnant. As a young Knight he wrote a manuscript entitled ‘Jedi: Peacekeepers No More’ during the early conflicts with the original Sith Empire. He advocated for the Jedi to meet the Sith on every field they could to slow or grind their advance to a halt and many younger Jedi flocked to support his beliefs following the Slaughter on Togoria.
B’rahk fought on Togoria and Kashyyyk against the Sith before the Netherworld Crisis, where he was eventually named a Jedi Master for his service and many injuries. As he began training new Padawans, B’rahk developed an understanding that the best way to protect his students was to prepare them for the harsh reality of war against the Sith and their allies. He was known to have reassigned a majority of those students he did take to the point some Padawans considered being taken under his tutelage to be a punishment. Very few ever became Jedi Knights after having studied under the Jedi Master, though he continued to hold his conviction that if he was not certain of their ability to survive in war, they did not belong with him during this period of turmoil and chaos.
During the Netherworld Crisis B’rahk helped in the Core Worlds until the Republic remnants that had been stranded were overcome or forced back by the inexorable advance of the One Sith. No longer convinced that the Galactic Republic could provide the stability and safety to the worlds that supported its forces, B’rahk like many Jedi joined the New Jedi Order under Grand Marshal Omai Rhen during the early days of the Galactic Alliance, while continuing to aid the Republic whenever possible in the days until the Republic fell and the Alliance took its place in the Galaxy. He served as a Jedi until Omai Rhen was slain and Thyferra was burned by the Sith, once again believing the Galactic Alliance could not protect its own worlds from the Sith and the First Order. When he evacuated aboard the Solemn Purpose, he agreed to remain with the Resistance, believing that while the Sith advanced across the galaxy in many shades, at least the Resistance would not paint targets on planets with their presence, freeing him to fight against darkness as he saw fit.
During the first weeks of organization the Jedi Remnant agreed to be a separate, but aligned entity, to the Resistance rather than subservient as its previous incarnations had been with the Jedi Order of the Galactic Republic and the New Jedi Order of the Alliance. Its handful of Jedi Masters resolved that a few of their number would serve on the Chief of State’s Provisional Council, and a ten others would be named Temple Masters and given command of divisions of the Jedi Remnant. B’rahk was selected to lead the Wild Space division given its proximity to the Sith Empire and its responsibilities suiting his mindset. His popularity among the Resistance Military and proactive beliefs would ensure he was given a measure of control and authority among Resistance units operating in the area and his attitude could be tempered by other Jedi operating from within his Temple Ship, the Solace of Conviction.

Strengths:
- Master Swordsman: B’rahk is a master swordsman and impressive duelist to say the least. He has focused his training and studies to his weapon and how to use it to the utmost of its ability.
- Unrelenting: Master B’rahk possesses a steely resolve and iron constitution befitting that of a warrior-monk.
- Fundamentals of the Force: The Whiphid Jedi is a Master, without a doubt, however he is not known for his abilities with the Force. He lacks any specialization in rare or exotic applications of the Force.
- Specialization: B’rahk, having specialized his abilities to melee combat for the most part, is considered lack luster in many other forms of combat, such as marksmanship, campaign strategy, and subterfuge.
While still young, he was taken in by scouts from the Jedi Order of the Galactic Republic and raised as a Padawan within their Temples.
