HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Plootus is old, even for a Hutt. He attributes this to constant meditation and spiritual oneness with the Force, which allows him to preserve his physical form and extend his longevity. As such, Plootus has seen a great deal of Galactic history, maintaining the Jedi Order's knowledge over thousands of years. Once he was a colleague to Jedi Master Dillon Kai'el, a shadow who specialized in the containment of dangerous artifacts. Master Plootus would oversee the study of these objects. When Dillon Kai'el went into hybernation, Plootus took a more passive role in the archives, yet remained ever present. He would successfully maintain a part of the archives in secrecy when the Jedi Purge occurred, reemerging when the Jedi were reestablished following the end of the Galactic Empire.

Nowadays he's stepped away from the archives, using his age as an excuse to live a little. He's become a fully fledged Jedi Archaeologist, one of many who operate in the field for the New Jedi Order in hopes of studying and preserving the history of the Force's study. With Dillon Kai'el's recent awakening, Master Plootus has once again become the old Jedi's preferred expert on Force Artifacts...
