The Ancient Planet of Dxun shared the same jungle atmosphere of his temporary homeworld Mancharakorkon. The thick and dense jungle covered for miles around with nothing but the sound of small animals to be heard. Karkosuchus had done limited research on the world before embarking on his quest for a jedi treasure stash hidden within The Cursed Grove located seven miles north of the Ruins of the CI-004 Czerka Research Facility. Various monsters crawled around the surface from flying horror called the Drexel to the lightsaber resistant bug known as Orbalisk. Each of these vicious monsters would chew apart a humanoid within a matter of seconds leaving nothing behind but the cruel reminder that this world had not been tamed fully by the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars all those years ago.
His approach was only heard by the sound of his current mode of transportation; a Karvo Class Heavy Assault Wheel which he had picked up from a former member of the Brotherhood of Darkness. The full display screen presented him with accurate live information on his surroundings. A small fork in the road alerted him to the entrance into the forbidden zone of the Cursed Grove. None had dared to enter due to mysterious circumstances regarding a past expedition that failed to return.
He touched the screen with his clawed hand as the automatic driving mode steered him towards the fork in the roadway. Karkosuchus knew that others had heard of this ancient treasure due to a report from a team of Archaeologists sent from the Galactic Capital of Coruscant. He needed that treasure to begin paying off several crime lords who had posted bounties upon his head.
Karkosuchus wasn't exactly worried about the possibilities of other bounty hunters coming after him. But the prospect of being constantly chased halfway across the galaxy annoyed him enough to seek the treasure regardless of the consequences that should follow. The automatic driving came to a halt when it detected several trees within the road ahead. His only other option was to hope that the assault wheel could travel through the dense forest. Such a risk of getting stuck prevented him from following that course of action.
He got out of the assault wheel and started the long walk through the forest using a hand drawn map of the grove he had picked up from a nearby local. His snout picked up the scent of a Zakkeg lurking beneath the undergrowth. The thick hide of the beast would be a problem but moving around it wasn't an option unless he wanted to waste more time and the thought that someone would beat him to the treasure crossed into his mind.
His only way forward was to fight the beast and prey that no one else was looking for his prize.
