Jedi Training

Lokthra Dawning got a transmission from [member="Junko Ike"] . She answered with all due haste. "Meet me at Maizuri Palace. Lokthra prepares for the long journey ahead and prepares herself for what Junko could want.

She lands at the palace and hops out of her fighter, she is greeted by Junko personally.

The large palace on the world was something of a beautiful sight. Few others could see the look over a number of things. Her ship was here, the floating palace as it was on a capped area of the palace and mountain docked to show the beauty of her ship. Junko had the ones who were there bringing and allowing her padawan to come inot the large gardens outside of her room. Junko looking up as she sat there letting the sun go across her skin as it was kissed and she looked up at the larger statues. Junko was looking at more of it until she stuck around to turn her head with flowing hair over to see her. The equipment and her saber off to the side before Junko stretched out. "Welcome padawan."

Lokthra's eyes wondered everywhere. The palace was truly a sight to be seen. The gardens where filled with mystical flowers from across the galaxy. They looked beautiful to her, she even compared it to her necklace. That was the sign she truly admired something. She shook her head and snapped back into reality. She was here with her Master not to admire flowers.

She bowed and graciously said "Thank you Master".

Although she was paying attention to her Master and making the best first impression possible; her attention was still drawn amongst the many features of the palace.

Junko was looking at her padawan and the girls interest around the palace ground and the palace itself was noted. The large gardens where the pond with fish and the swimming area was all set up. Cascading down on the one end in a waterfall gong down the mountain itself. She continued to move around and here there in the garden before speaking and motioning for the padawan to come around. "Come along, si and tell me about yoourself? Have you had any previous training? Is there anything you wish to try and learn or specialize in? Have you read any of the texts about being a jedi?" She was curious and the short regal jedi knight turned the black pools of her eyes over to see the girl.

"Unfortunately no Master, I only recently got picked up by the order and well I barely know the basics. I have accidentally done some force tricks before. This is my first training session and you are the first master I have actually had the honour of talking to."

"I would love to learn any and everything you have to offer me, I do want to say however, that I feel very... connected. As if using the force just comes naturally and easier then other's i've seen. Perhaps we could start there master?"

Hmm she was looking at her and there wasn't much but that would work for her. She had worked with padawans who had much the same history before so she would and should be able to work with it. Turning a few things over in her head until she was moving off to the side with a look on her face. "We can start there then." Offering a small tight lipped smile though when she moved over with her long hair over one shoulder. "Then we'll sit and focus the force energies, this garden is a great place for meditating and skirts one of the force nexus on the planet here." She finished up and grabbed the robe while sitting down with a small sign of amusement and serenity before sitting down on one of the more ornate seats.

Lokthra followed her masters lead. Meditating, she'd never imagined doing this before. But as soon as she begun she could feel it, the force. It was going in and out of her. It felt so strong, she presumed mainly because of all the life in the palace. It felt like only a few minutes had past and still she could feel the life of everything near her. This is what gives the jedi their power, or so she decided at least.

She watched her padawan sit down and begin to meditate while she stood there looking over everything that was there. Wanting to see some of it as she spoke. Walking around slowly with her feet in the dirt and grass. "First step is focus, allowing the force to enter your body as your inhale. Allow it to fill your lungs and spread throughout your body Quiet your mind and let the force expand your senses outwards to the garden, the palace and then the mountain. Feel the people milling about inside of it, below it in the village."

Lokthra took in deep breaths, she could feel the emotions and life of all things living near her: The Palace, The village and the mountain. Everything was peaceful. She could sense no fear, no anger. Only the force, Lokthra so wished to live in this moment forever. It was so peaceful, so tranquil, words couldn't even describe it.

Junko continued to move around keeping her hands clasped behind her back before she was walking a moment. Letting her padawan continue and she could feel the force energies themselves. She knew the pylons here near the garden that looked out upon the forest itself, filled with its force ghosts that were more dangerous then things she had seen before. The orphanage and the village within it, the sensation of the force nexus that was there. She stayed off to the side for a moment before sitting down opposite her padawan and was listening to her breathing and could feel her focusing within the moment itself as her voice came out. "Good now continue it, expand your consciousness to the other areas of the world. This planet is teeming with life and all of it can be sensed."

Breathing in and out, Lokthra continues to go further and further. She feels the smallest animals, the biggest animals, the life of the villages that span this entire world, and just when she felt the above, she started to feel below. All the creatures of the underworlds, the living flora. Then a sudden chill came over her. She started to feel the prisoners soul. She shook her head and immediately stopped the practise.

"Master, how can you be so peaceful and happy with all that... that... Evil down below?"

"Because I know it is contained and someone is needed to be here to ensure it remains like that. Being a jedi isn't about comfort though I do have a lot of it. This temple wo't replace the one my family lost on Atrisia but it does well enough. A jedi's life is service to protecting themselves and to protect others, if I am able to protect them by being here to monitor the forest and the spirits of the jedi childred and people within it then that is fine by me. The markers that were made for it to surround it aid in containing their spirits as well so there is at least a way to have the small village itself checked in case there is danger." She moved around stopping only enough totoss her hair to the other side. "Besides, the temples of the jedi are to small for my tastes, the bed no where near as comfortable as it should be.

There we go, a padawan who gets it and she had to agree she did like her comfort. That she was able to well use the skills she had and the resources of her family to help more people through means that didn't always involve swinging a blade was just a secondary benefit. "Exactly." Sticking with it before she was moving around. Letting herself look at the statues and have a grin on her face. "Though now let us reach out to the people. Your skills will be tested as down in the village. I want to see how you interact with the people." It was also good to work with the people. She motioned with her hand. "You can put your things in your quarters here in the south wing then meet me in the throne room."

Lokthra hadn't brought much with her, so she only put her welder gun in her quarters. She then proceeded to meet her master in the throne room.

Her draw dropped as she looked at the marvels of the room. It was bigger then she could of imagined filled with luxuries galore. She thought her master had an interest in luxuries, but this many?? It made her feel bad, thinking there was people out their who couldn't even have the bare bone luxuries, then there was someone out here with this many luxuries... It brought a tear to her eye. She wiped it off immediately.

"Ready master" She said gracefully.

Junko had changed getting into her princess robes while she was sitting there and looked at the padawan when she came into the room to join her. The small dias that was there letting her walk down and present herself with a more regal look as she had gotten the solari make up that pulsed with the lightside of the force and her head piece. The smokestone that augmented her own mental capabilities with the force. Clasping her hands in front of herself as the view of her saber remained with the small personal dagger that was a blade of sorrow. Walking to the larger doors there while she had the ones here open them up revealing the massive staircase that went down to the village below. Where they were working on the buildings and constructing everything there. She could see the river and the teahouse that everyone went to at the bottom of the thousand steps. To lead them down as she was speaking. "The village is filled with normal workers, the padawans from the lake temple." She indicated towards the large lake in the distance and the jedi temple that was small on the surface but a massive underground temple. "Often come here to learn and work with the villagers. It is a way for them to interact but not be thrown into situations where they could be facing odds that are overwhelming without a master. They are also ale to help work with the honeycomb of tunnels below the ground clearing them out and fixing them up to make the roads to the Imperial city and other areas under the mountains possible. THe main path to the ocean is being worked on to connect with the old crystal caves."

Lokthra followed her master as she continued.

"Do many Padawan's attend?" She asked inquisitively.

Junko continued to descend the stairs as the village was coming into better view with the river and all of the people coming around the small but semi bustling area. "Yes there are many from the jedi temple that come here. My padawans i have work with them as well. Get them used to interacting with the people and to keep them humble." She reached the bottom of the tairs and some fo the children from the village were coming around her before she moved bringing from a pocket a small box of sweets. "Yes yes here you go, some fo the finest." She was looking at the children and stayed with one of them while wiping at the girls face with a small grin on her face. "Elizabeth, you look much better then the last time I saw you." She was looking at the little girl and there were a few others who were coming around to get some candy and then head off. The small marketplace with stalls giving fruits and the latest crops. "Some fo the children are the children of jedi, families that have been around. It gives them a small place to be."

"This is a haven. No poverty, no war, no well no anything bad. How is this place so pure compared to the outside worlds?" Lokthra questioned with an intriguing gaze.

"It helps that there is the nebula. At night there might not be stars around the sky but you can see the purple and pink swirls of the nebula that blocks off this system from others. Isolated and with only a small pathway through it that can be protected by the system itself. Makes attacks wanting to come here less so. No one really notices what is here on the world and so it has been able to become many things." She continued through the streets and was showing her some areas. "That doesn't mean fights and battles do not come here or haven't. There have been many battles but there is also a great deal they have done to improve the world. The jedi who come here to the world and in fact the entire system to make it a better place."
