- Togna Kyber Crystal
- Trapped Grip: A hidden booby-trap lies within the grip of the hilt. Any unauthorized person attempting to hold the hilt would receive a very powerful jolt of electricity. Depending on the individual's pain threshold, it could render them unconscious.
- Modified Activation Slide Switch: The activation stud, in this case, is actually a slide switch; and is hidden plush against the activation plate itself. The modification to the activation slide allows the blade to draw forth quicker than traditional blades.
- Modified Blade Emitter: The modification to the emitter grants the plasma of the blade to run hotter than other lightsabers, adding to the blade's cutting power. With an enhanced plasma-blade, it can burn through most materials quickly, as well as handle cortois without completely shorting out.
- Disrupting Emitter: The lightsaber's disrupting emitter can affect the nervous systems of most species by interrupting the sensory information that is transmitted through the varies parts of the body.
- Discharge Energy Cell: The energy cell provides more energy output from the lightsaber, which it allows for the deliverance of more powerful strikes and attacks.
- Dragite Lens: The dragite lens strengthened the plasma beam, giving it a more increased amount of damage that it can inflict.
- BCIP: This allows for the lightsaber to be activated and used whilst underwater.
- Blade Strength: The plasma blade of the lightsaber runs hotter than the normal beam, and with all the modifications and enhanced components built into the lightsaber; the blade is more powerful than the traditional plasma beams.
- Tonga Kyber Crystal: The addition of this unique and rare kyber crystal grants the wielder a forty-five percent increase to his precognition ability, as well as the crystal working in junction to grant him the ability to detect dangers more quickly when the lightsaber is powered down. Also, the crystal, when the lightsaber is activated produces an emitting smoke screen from the blade itself that causes nausea and disorientation to anyone caught within the radius screen; minus Jehlan himself.
- Unstable Blade: With the addition of the disrupting emitter, the emitter's negative effect causes the blade to be less steady; with occasional bouts of overcharging or crackly weakly taking away from the strength of the plasma beam. Also, it could possibly happen that the plasma blade completely shuts off, taking several seconds to minutes to cool down from overcharging.
Over the course of his life, Jehlan had constructed several lightsabers; from his first as a fledging Jedi Padawan to his second after Knighthood and to his third when elevated to the rank of Jedi Master. However, after leaving the Jedi Order behind for personal and conflicting reasons; it was time to create his fourth lightsaber that now reflected his current status and philosophies in life.
Using his mastery of lightsaber creation, he designed a lightsaber that was fitting to his style. In his youth, he fancied himself a swordsman, craving the call of dueling other wielders or simply charging into the fray of battle. As the years slowly began to grow on him, he opted for a lightsaber that brought more power and damage to end confrontations quickly, rather than basking in the fight itself. For this, he began modifying the major components of a lightsaber hilt, which in doing so made the blade capable of inflicting heavy damage and stronger cutting power; however, with the addition of the disrupting emitter, it causes the plasma blade to suffer some poor qualities.
With the hilt finally constructed, it was time to go on a pilgrimage to find the right kyber crystal for the newly constructed weapon. His journey led him to the planet of Yar Togna, where he braved the volcanic mountains and spewing ashes of the planet, along with the poor quality of oxygen offered by the planet of the dominate species, The Tognath, to find deep in the underground guarded caverns, the Togna Kyber Crystal.
As a Lord Commander of the Wardens of the Shroud, and avid lover of lore and history, he discovered the crystals through rediscovered data logs from the Galactic Empire hundreds of years in the past. One particular entry caught his eye, that of an Inquisitor known only as Second Sister who spoke of the qualities surrounding the Togna crystal. Once taking a crystal for himself, he went through the meditation process to attune the kyber crystal to himself; and subsequently introduced it to his new hilt. The blade, when brought forth produces a smoky grey color; a testament to the ashy world where the Togna crystal can be found.
