THE FORCE
Over the course of his life, Jehlan has learned much about the nature of the Force; both the Light and the Dark. Through the studying of both aspects, he has devoted himself to the Dark Side of the Force; though never following the philosophies of the Sith, taking great strives to never sway toward the Sith. Through his knowledge of the Force, he has discovered that not all abilities gifted by the Force are open to him, with some of the abilities required a certain degree of dedication to either the Light or that of the Sith. As the Jedi fully embrace the Light, the Sith the Dark; he remains balanced between both ideals, though he follows the path of the Dark Side. So, it is because of this that he relies on certain abilities in the Force that do not bring him to far over the threshold. He will never be a Champion of the Light or the Villian of the Sith's ideals of the Dark Side. He is aware of his capabilities, what he can and cannot command, and what works for him to keep him balanced.
Most of his abilities focus on the mind, manipulations mostly. He is strong in other facets of Force, but it is the mental constructs he most adheres to. The mind, in his opinion, is there to be manipulated in any fashion that leads to success, progress, and results.

The story of Jedlan Beidi is not one of heroics or tragedy. There are no tales of him floating about in the halls of the Jedi Academy or cold whispers spoken of his heinous acts among the Sith. He is just Jehlan Beidi, former Jedi Master, adopted son, and raised on the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk. His origins are shrouded in secrecy, buried away from the prying eyes of the galaxy. Any traces of his association with the Jedi have been erased from their archives, through mysterious means, and those that would recognize him from his time among the Jedi are few and thin.
To some, the former Jedi Master is dead. To others, he is lost in the unknowns. To Jehlan, he is exactly where he wants to be.
