Jerek Morrows
A Jedi's Life is Sacrifice.
"Jerek Morrows"

NAME: Jerek Morrows, real name redacted.
FACTION: The Jedi Praxeum.
RANK: Jedi Shadow.
SPECIES: Human, origin unknown.
AGE: Mid to Late Twenties
SEX: Male.
HEIGHT: 5'8"
WEIGHT: Approx. 72.5 kg
EYES: Blue.
HAIR: Dark Brown.
SKIN: And just as the other two categories, the skin color might not be apparent depending on attire.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Espionage Expert: Having spent much of his time among the common people of the galaxy, and extensive time in the criminal underground, Jerek is an expert at not drawing attention to himself. He can easily blend into even the seediest of places and people, and no one will be the wiser- unless they know what they're looking for.
A Man has No Name: In order to function in a wetworks capacity for the Jedi, on paper, Jerek does not exist. The name Morrows designates him for various tasks and missions given him by the Masters of the Order- the only people alive who know who he actually is. Incidentally, his birth name has been foregone entirely, as he perceives it as an unnecessary attachment.
Into the Howling Dark: Because of his sometimes grim duties, Jerek has seen the ugly true face of darkness, and is prepared to delve deep into it in order to complete his mission. Stalwart in the face of this monolithic adversity, he shoulders a unique burden that many adherents of the light would find abhorrent.
Many Faces, One Purpose: Whatever name he uses, Jerek is a creature of subterfuge. Because of this, people rarely get to know him well and he has trouble forging relationships with others. Even other Jedi find him to be an anomaly, when he happens to be among them. Because of this, Jerek is extremely good at liquidating his presence and uprooting quickly.
A Jedi's Life is Sacrifice: Many Jedi have said this over the years, but Jarek lives it. From youth, he gave up material goods and even his own name in service to the ideal of Peace. A firm believer that a Jedi's duty comes above all else, he does not permit himself attachments, and at times seems incredibly aloof. He is firmly rooted in the Light.
The Abhorrent Dark: Despite all he has seen, or perhaps because of it, Jarek is deeply saddened by those things perverted by the Dark side of the Force. He feels pity, even remorse when faced with Sith. Even so, he does his duty admirably- albeit with a foul taste in his mouth. Something significantly corrupted, or someone incorrigible enough could stir him to righteous fury, however.
Do not make me Kill you: Jerek detests murder. It is his belief that there is always a better way; or at least, a more constructive one. He knows that this belief is not pragmatic, but he also believes that as a Jedi, it is his duty to find the best path to Peace. If the only way to achieve it is through blood, he will be deeply troubled by that fact.
Thankless Job: Though he does not do it for the recognition (obviously), it can be tiresome to do so much in return for so little. Jarek lives entirely off whatever the Jedi give him, but he receives no actual wage. His clothes are threadbare, and he has no transportation of his own.

Chapter I: "To a Thousand New Tomorrows."
Separated from his parents by a tragic accident at a young age, Morrows was placed in an orphanage on *redacted*. He grew close to the other children, creating a united front against their tyrannical matron, a woman with strict beliefs on how children ought behave and a stern hand for discipline. He learned the hard way that making himself stand out was the quickest way to get smacked down. So, Jerek became extremely good at going unseen.
Stealing into the cupboards and lifting food past bedtime was quite possibly the worst of his offenses, and yet, he was never caught. Because he shared with the others, they were also disinclined from giving him up. He honed his stealth over the next few years and began learning secrets about the orphanage, passages that the Matron kept secret, rooms they were never supposed to enter, and perhaps most prominently, something that struck him as odd.
The Orphanage was a place for the gifted, children who displayed a dormant sensitivity to the Force.
Others who manifested the trait were quickly whisked away before anyone could ask questions. Jerek found a detailed account of all the others who were taken, and learned that they were being taken to bolster the Sith ranks. Armed with this knowledge, Jerek reached out to a Jedi during his travels beyond the Orphanage walls. He gave up the information and received an offer in return.
"Come with me, and be trained as a Jedi."
When the Jedi raided the Orphanage, the Matron was taken in as a conspirator, and the other children were one by one redistributed across various systems, and some of them even taken as Initiates.
They had a saying among them, before they were scattered by circumstance:
"To a Thousand New Tomorrows."
Chapter 2: The Jedi Path
Taken abruptly from the life of an orphan and made an Initiate, Jarek made trouble for himself early on. He had a proclivity for sneaking into the restricted areas of the Archives and reading information that was not intended for his eyes. As the young man became more aware of the injustice and horrors that existed in the galaxy, he started to become less and less of a free spirit and began taking his duties far more seriously.
His Mentor praised him once for being more dedicated than most Jedi, but also cautioned him that his zealous demeanor would deprive him of a normal life if he was not careful. Jarek dove head first into his Trials, and eventually became a Knight at the early age of twenty. Then, something happened that no one expected.
The Jedi needed volunteers for a secret project, something that they came to Jarek about because of his tenacity and his feelings toward the Dark side. Very few Jedi were exposed to the things that the young man had been close to from a very young age. They were refounding the Jedi Shadows, a sect of the Order devoted to information, infiltration, and in some extreme cases, removal of dangerous targets.
A Jedi should never be eager to kill.
Many Shadows that joined alongside Jarek were overcome by their powerful emotions over the task, and they left the Order, and some of them even fell.
Jarek was left alone.
