Jia Ren Qu (Silver Jedi Dominion of Shri-Tal)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Shri-Tal

Navigating the nebula of the world was something else, Matsu sat there for once simply at peace while she meditated. The world they were going to, that the Silver jedi were seeing to was beautiful compared to some, ideallic in some places because of the governments inner workings and preservation towards culture. She had read some of the briefs and there was so much going on in this world it was to her insane even, so much history and culture that had been collected, ancient exmpires and kings creating everything.

Then she was rising up and looking upon the world with while her eyes flicked over everything. The moons were even steeped in history and intrigue. There was so much to do while she turned setting her hands in her pockets and walking into the large room as the holographic display of the planet came. The Silver jedi ships were here and there was plenty for them to do on the planet or system itself, the moons that allowed for their works to be seen. Win some hearts and minds if the people instead of just coming in and working to stomp them.

"Thank you for coming." She spoke to the ones in the room anyone really as the Harlequin crew milled about and worked on things. She had her ship here and ready to head down to the planet, there were crystal formations and so many things happening. "The world of Shri-tal is a beautiful place that has done much in its history, it hs seen many more things. From before the time of the Republic even and there are more then enough mysteries to try and solve. We will never know what we can find in the world."

She continued to look at the display and pulled it back, showing the system and the field surrounding them with the nebula. "There is a prison colony we need to send a team to see and make sure they are treating the people there humanely, there is an quanantine in effect on the third moon of the system we will need to try and help if we can but be careful. I want some of our more business minded to head to the second moon and the marketplace there they have access to sources most of the galaxy has never seen and older more lucrative methods."

Matsu continued speaking and shiftingthe image. "There is also all the ancient ruins and places on the world that have been steeped in mystery and grandure. Learn what you can and document it, there is even a rare treat, an ancient and powerful sage is on the world you can see him for our knowledge based ones. His servants who see to the temple are from before the Republic and finally there is the team going to the emperors palace. A large structure that can be seen from space." That had Matsu showing a smile for the others as she finished and let them go off.

"Go forth and may the force be with you.

Sitting with his hands resting on his knees, Connor linked his hands and watched the holomap of Shri-Tal spin, move and zoom around under control of the ever dependable [member="Matsu Ike"]. He sat and listened.

Around him were many familiar faces from the Silver Jedi, and many new ones. It sounded like there was never time to breathe within the Order, but then again the darkness threatening the galaxy never stopped and so neither should he. Neither should they. The Silver Jedi weren't like other Jedi - they were more focused, more unified and stronger than ever and this assignment to cover the planet was going to be another success. He could feel it.

As Matsu spoke, Connor thought about where he would be best suited. He wasn't sure of teams, or who was leading who, but he guesses that would all unfold in time. When Matsu gave the word and the figures around them started to break away, Connor stepped past a few familiar faces, offering them a welcoming smile and reassuring grip on their shoulder before coming up beside Mastu.

He had only come across Matsu once or twice, more recently on Vaynai.

"Padawan Ike, that was a wonderful debrief. You've obviously put a lot of thought into this operation, and I am sure it will be a success. Tell me, what are the teams going to each are? Is there room to join any or will there be a set...order to follow."

There were certain aspects, like business, he wasn't so hot on, but others - negotiation and exploration - that he was rather adept at.

Dagos milled about only half listening to the debrief that was taking place, he was a little over-whelmed with everything going on, space travel was still relatively new to Dagos and the experience was exciting to say the least. The hustle and bustle of the crew fascinated him, he didn’t have the slightest clue what any of them were doing but he was still enthralled. Dagos had chosen to come along on this journey to Shri-Tal so that he could perhaps meet some more of his fellow JedI and to see more of the galaxy. He stood scanning around the hanger looking for any familiar faces not that he knew many other members of the order, he hoped maybe he would see his master or Caira or even the young JedI he had met in the gardens but couldn’t find either of them, not at the moment any how. He wondered if he would be assigned a group to go with or be left to figure that out on his own, he really should of paid attention.

Sochi came in a little later than most, and so stood within the back of the room as the briefing continued. She had been away on most business, and missed out on the first couple of excursions. This one she would participate as she wanted t proceed with the training of her apprentices. Today's lesson some survival skills, beast taming, and something special. The planet provided such resources for training, so she took advantage. When the briefing ended, she made her way through the crowd, as everyone scattered to their individual groups.

She approached her Padawan from a distance, robes layered, and flowing as she took every step. Given the right amount of time she made it face to face, and placed her hand on his shoulder, and proceeded with talking.

"Greetings, Padawan. Are your excited for the things to come, you'll have your hands quite busy. Have your seen [member="Caira Zee"] ?" she said looking around, and placing her index finger upon her chin, where it slowly curled.

[member="Dagos Terrek"]

Master Sochi Ru flowed through the crowd and over to Dagos stopping just in front of him and placing a welcomed hand on his shoulder.
“Yes, very excited master. It’s fantastic to see you. I was hoping to see Caira, but so far I have not” Dagos had a big grin on his face, he was very glad to see his master here
it would mean he wasn’t alone and it would give him an opportunity to progress further in his training. Master Ru mentioned he would be busy on this trip

“Busy with what, Master? If you don’t mind my asking.” Dagos was giddy with excitement, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet he couldn't wait to prove himself.

Sitting in a small office aboard one of the aged vessels the Silver Jedi had dispatched to this world Vladimir shuffled through what seemed like endless piles of paperwork, so many requests for equipment to be reviewed, leaves of absence to be approved, intelligence reports to be read. He was going to have to get himself an assistant just to keep everything organized, he never truly appreciated how much work went into at the top of the food chain. Signing one last form he stood up and stretched, he had been so engrossed in all the paperwork that he hadn’t even noticed the transition back to real space. Normally he would have spent the entire trip retching but he had been so preoccupied he hadn’t even had time to notice his own stomach issues until now.

Stepping out of the office Vladimir looked out the viewport and down on the world that lay below, there wasn’t much need for the military here as this was supposed to be a mission of peace but the Rangers would be prepared none the less. There would be a great many teams departing for the surface of the planet or that of the moon soon enough and though the Jedi were quite capable of taking care of themselves he didn’t want anyone going anywhere without at least one Ranger joining them as support. Those that were entering more dangerous situations like those that would be heading for the quarantine zone on Orsonian or the Prison world, or even worse the black market on the moon of Dogisia would be getting heavier escorts.

Walking down the hallway Vladimir entered the room just as Padawan [member="Matsu Ike"] began issuing instructions. He waited for her to finish her briefing before standing and adding his own two cents. “Anyone departing for the surface should see me to get an appropriately sized Ranger escort. Just a precaution, we don’t expect any trouble but I would rather all of people have someone with them down there just in case.”

Matsu looked up and at Connor as she spoke to his question. "There are no assigned teams, I did not know who was coming. Just find a group and lead it, I am heading down to the planet to enjoy the sights and see the countryside there are many places a person can build a home down there and enjoy themselves." She held her hand out as she took a black hat and set it on while she started walking and looked at Sochi with a smile. "Master Ru, thank you for coming." She had a look on her face and walked towards the shuttles to head down to the planet while she whistled a little.

Jeela slipped into the room from where she had been listening to the debrief just outside the door. There wer dark circles under her eyes and they were a little red. A crease could be seen above her nose and her jaw was right. Something was clearly worrying her. She nodded absent-mindedly at the debrief from [member="Matsu Ike"] and addendum from [member="Vladimir Kirov"]. She could see [member="Dagos Terrek"] over with his master. This would be an interesting expedition, certainly, and unlike the ones she had been on previously. An escort? She didn't quite appreciate that. She had her own problem to deal with and an escort would make it far more difficult to deal with. But, if it was truly necessary, she would do it.

[member="Sochi Ru"]. [member="Connor Harrison"]

Caira walked in, looking around in awe and wonder. She had no clue what was going on. She was overwhelmed with the mere idea, the thought of a group of people working together was something she would probably never truly understand. She glanced around the room looking for something familiar, although very few things were familiar to her in this place. She felt a slight amount of worry come off her shoulders as she saw [member="Dagos Terrek"] and [member="Sochi Ru"] across the room giddily she walked over and stood next to them. She chose not to say anything as they were having a conversation.

She glanced around the room once more trying to fit the pieces together as to what was happening, maybe she shouldn't have missed the debrief.

Slipping in not the last she hope not the first as she scan around the room seeing a few of the ones that she knew. Now this was a good site to put a smile along with the warmth coming from herself. Coming first to stop at [member="Sochi Ru"] so much history she had with her starting her own the healing path she had chosen in the force arts. Kissing her gentle on the cheek then embrace of her own that only Maya could give so freely to all. Master Ru, it has been a while."

Her eyes came upon [member="Connor Harrison"] stepping up to him giving him the same greeting not knowing if it would be welcome or still the distance still there since her return. Connor I"m glad to see you old friend. Been through a lot by now noting that she couldn't handle. Wondering over to the others in the group some she didn't know as well as others but still she did the same greeting as she gave Ru and Connor. [member="Dagos Terrek"] [member="Caira Zee"] @Jeela Tillian

Coming to rest on [member="Matsu Ike"] I hope I"m not to late Miss Ike.

Giving that I haven't able to come any sooner.

[member="Vladimir Kirov"] Mr. Kirov I"m glad to have you on board again," They have work well in the past also had a lot of rest of him even if he hadn't been touch by the force like the rest in the room. Knowing that who every was with him for troops would be very well looked after now wondering if [member="Xander Carrick"] would be coming on this mission.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Tracyn said little, as he sat under the tree, watching the refugees from Dromund Kaas have a small game. The objective seemed to be to keep the ball away from each other, but other than that, the Jedi had little interest in learning the entirety of the sport. He just simply watched, listening to the gentle wind. He was planning to head to the prison later, but until then, he was content on watching the game between the displaced people.
Displaced by his people.

Displaced by war.

A war that his people ended- or did it just evolve?

It had been some time since Coci had shown her face. Her true face. She had been busy with work off Voss, gathering information from all aspects of the threats that plagued the Galaxy. Coci, in constant contact with Master Iella E'ron, kept her informed as ordered and now she is back among the Silver Jedi. A warm welcome to do so and a much needed reprieve from the riggers of duty. But duty never really stops, not for a Jedi. And so she had taken an unmarked ship to the moon.

As is her habit she dressed in her black body suit and boots, her rifle over her shoulder tapped lightly on her back as she walked through the dense jungle. It is amazing how the galaxy throws up such ambiguities. Her black hair cropped to shoulder lengthen now, her eyes still remained as black as the night sky and more powerful then ever. The force had given her that talent, the ability to see well beyond others.

Master E'ron had issued her with a mission to investigate the ruins her on Catia, knowing Coci to have the ability to 'take care of business', and so she would.

@Anyone wishing to come fly with me to the moon. :p

As he turned in the room, he came face to face with [member="Maya Whitelight"] and it took him a moment to gain his composure. For months the two had been a close unit within the Silver Jedi and operating within special units in the Order, forming a bond and supporting eachother as brothers and sisters of the Jedi do. However she had soon left, and become involved with darker acts that Connor didn't fully understand or know about.

It changed his view on her, and in a way the operations of the Silver Jedi as a whole, and even today as she was back with them, he didn't know if he could trust her or make his emotions as obvious to anyone again. Connor was battling demons of his own, and seeing Maya made them bubble and thrive inside him.

"Maya, be careful." Connor could only muster a few words before averting his eyes and moving away from the hustle and bustle, moving towards [member="Vladimir Kirov"], one whom had certainly been a great asset to the Order.

"Excuse me, Mister Kirov. Connor Harrison. I don't believe we've met, but we have certainly worked together out in the field. I am wanting to take a shuttle to one of the moons above the planet to seek an outpost for defence for the Silver Jedi. A scouting mission, expedition - whatever you may call it. I don't expect resistance, but if you have a shuttle I can use with any pocket of your Rangers to accompany me, I would be very grateful."

Connor was aiming to leave for one of the far moons orbiting the planet in a task to see if an outpost could be established for surveillance and defence of the planet. Nothing major, but after the invasions he had seen within the Order, defence and communication between forces on and off the planet were crucial to defend the Silver Jedi against any future invasions and hostiles.

A remote outpost who could monitor the galaxy, view the planet and have a pocket of fighters stationed on the moon would be the best solution. It would be an isolated position, but Connor was more than happy to lead the way and see if it could be done.

A masked young man enters the room where the debriefing is held with hands in buried in his robes, just in the nick of time, his head moving left-to-right to the sounds he was hearing. The temperature still seemed rather chilly for him. He simply stood near the door, resting on a wall. He then shifted his hood on for the remainder of the discussion. The man had a rather cold aura.

He was simply silent. His blood crimson eye peering out of his mask, his head pointed downwards as they continued to discuss matters that Eric found to be a bore. He was just there to be present in whatever they were doing, hiding in the background. Eric mumbled to himself some more as they continued talking. His body stood still as he listened to them. He wasn't paying any attention to anyone.

I shook my head. Wearing my black armor simply because I had cleaned it up and as I would be one of the people traveling towards the Mage's domain. Seeing as how we had no clue on who he was, I wanted to prepare for the worst, but not so much that it looked like I brought an army with me. Simply put, I had my armor, trusty hammer, and my Master version of my Sentinel lightsaber. Double bladed and made out of electrum, it was a very intricate piece of work. Never in a million years would I have thought of this. Having a Love life, even if it was a little shaky at times, being a Master of the force, and a Jedi who fought for the people across the Galaxy.

Now that I was here, I was kind of not knowing what to do. But I did know one thing. I would continue to move on and learn from others so that I can protect all that I can. I knew that saving everybody was impossible, but I would save all that I could. Even if it brought the death of me. I was a simple man, wanting peace to live, love, and the pursuit of happiness.

Taking my helmet, I held it in my hand as I walked to where everyone was meeting. Nodding heads to a few of the others, I walked up to Connor and Maya seeing them both, I gave him a hearty handshake. "I hear you are going to the Moon base? Good luck brother. Just don't let it all fall out in your suit." Giving him a small wink as a joke, I then looked to Maya, "Well if I don't say so, I see a beauty to behold." Smiling brightly, I walked over to her, and planted a kiss on her hand like a gentleman. "Does thouist lend my thy number?" Acting almost too good for my own appearance. I really did want Maya's number... even if I already had it mentally as well as physically.

Junko had been listening to her cousin's briefing and stood there silent with the hair falling over her face. She then saw her master back from her ordeals and two men while her hand gripped the pistol on her hip and strician blade at her side. Her master was being pulled already in any and all direction she did't need this. She needed to relax and there were more then enough places on the world where one could relax and have some enjoyment. She moved quickly and quietly to go through the two mens contest while slipping a hand into her masters and jerking lightly for her to come with her towards the shuttles. Quietly and without much notice

Here he came, [member="Xander Carrick"], Master and friend who had been around in nearly every expedition and mission Connor had been involved in during his time with the Order. Dependable, noble and strong minded – something easily admired from afar. He warmly took his hand, returning the greeting with a knowing smile.

”Hey, it’ll be a blue milk run compared to all that negotiating and trekking around planet side – you should tag along, but I’d hate to keep you from your exciting work”

He wouldn’t object to company, but Xander was a Jedi who had a clear path to follow and he was already working on his own objectives for the Order.

Connor watched Xander move to [member="Maya Whitelight"] and reduce himself to a gallant, gushing fool. He had given Maya the chance she probably deserved, but Connor had fought an uphill battle with her before and from being cut off so quickly when she decided to take on more than she could possibly imagine, he didn’t trust her, and wished Xander wouldn’t be so blind.

Chewing the inside of his cheek, he suppressed his feeling of emptiness and turned back to [member="Vladimir Kirov"], seeing other familiar faces milling around like the tough [member="Coci Sinopi"] whom he had seen before, but there were still some he hadn’t, like the strange masked man he was observing from the back of the room. He hadn’t seen him before at all.

Rise of the Wicked

Matsu was still walking when for all the Silver jedi it came, an alert as signals flared up across the planet and moons. Eight signatures and klaxon's blared with the rising energy surge before the system overloaded. Something was down there and she looked around feeling it almost in the air. "Did anyone get locations?"

From nowhere the klaxons erupted around the room and from the holoprojector. Connor snapped his head around to see the glowing points across the projected image of the planet and the moons, but just as quickly as he saw it, the system sparked and went to black.

Confusion and questions soon broke out in the room.

Hearing [member="Matsu Ike"] speak, he stepped forward to her and looked over the burnt out control panel as he spoke.

”I think I saw 5 spots on the planet, I can’t be sure. 4 or 5. And just what was that?”

He looked over to the others and regretted what he had just said.

”I don’t think is going to be a blue milk run after all. Should have guessed.”

Feeling the disturbance in the Force, Eric remained calm as he leaned on the wall. His head just facing the center as he didn't mind the images. That's because he didn't see them. But it's obvious that he knew something was wrong. The expression on his face said it all. But his mask hid it. He payed no attention to the alarms for a moment to think. He was ignoring the chaos in the room for a moment. Someone must have triggered in the klaxon. But who? The questions pacing through Eric's mind. He remained silent and calm.
