Jinmu-Tennō Miyaki

Jinmu-Tennō Miyaki is a lower corporate politician on Denon, originating from the Corporate Sector Authority in the Outer Rim Territories where he founded Miyaki Munitions during the Four Hundred Year Darkness. He was among the first corporate oligarchs to arrive on Denon to spread influence in the local galactic sector. While his contemporaries did not shy away from utilizing the criminal shadowrunners of Darkwire to establish a powerbase on Denon, Jinmu-Tennō relied inward on his son and daughter to aid his ruthless endeavours. Without Darkwire to back his authority, Jinmu-Tennō fell behind in the corporate race, his political influence plummeting.

With the devastation the Outer Rim has faced in recent decades, Jinmu-Tennō's identity has become clouded. What is known in the unclear history of his rise and fall in the Corporate Authorities has become the stuff of legend among his people. Hailing from Carlac, belonging to the ethnic group of Humans known as Ming Po. He is believed to be hundreds of years old, kept alive by cutting edge medical science. His already short frame at five-foot-three is shortened by his noticeable elderly hunch. The once soft skin of his face is now speckled with liver spots, burn wounds, benign tumours and scars. He spent many decades of his early life as a monk on Carlac, before leaving his homeworld in pursuit of a higher meaning to life, but his spirituality was corrupted along the way by the greed of the Corporate Authorities.

Although believed to be centuries old, far past any age where he could conceivably have children, he has defied nature. His two children are quite young, believed to be the byproduct of DNA cloning. Little public information is known about his daughter, her name a well guarded secret. Her records kept behind countless firewalls of the latest innovation in anti-slicing software. His son, Kōshō Miyaki is a stain on Jinmu-Tennō's reputation among his peers. His son remains disturbingly recluse, only ever having contact with his father. He is gargantuan in size, kept afloat permanently in a bacta-tank, his body unable to survive outside of the tank due to both his size and chronic physical illnesses. His son is hooked directly into the holonet through his cybernetic implants, serving as head of cybersecurity for Miyaki Munitions. In the vast oceans of data of the CryptNet, it is there that Kōshō defends his father from Darkwire Shadowrunners.

Jinmu-Tennō Miyaki serves as Chief Executive Officer and Lead Innovator for Miyaki Munitions, a small Denon-based military think-tank. Miyaki Munitions commonly shortened to just Miyaki, designs droids, walkers and occasionally armoured wheeled vehicles for CorpSec. Were Miyaki's operations sufficiently funded they could pose as dangerous economic and political rivals to the ExO, Marlene Starlight. For now Jinmu-Tennō seeks investors to fund his latest and most lethal designs, sure to secure Miyaki influence within Corpsec and strengthen his position on the DireX board. An upcoming dangerous and mysterious rival within the Corporate Authorities of Denon.
