DESCRIPTION
The Syndicate specializes in the sell of two major items: spice and illegal weapons. John Doe's signature spice product, Paprika (link above), is the top seller. Made in labs throughout Nar Shaddaa, the trained chemists receive their base ingredients from under the table operations in Kessel. The chemists then add hallucinogens to the spice, package and distribute it to sellers. The amount of Paprika sold varies. While most of the time drug dealers are the main mode of selling, occasionally there will be a big demand for the drug, and chemists will have to prepare large quantities of Paprika to drop off in smuggling runs. Paprika is also distributed to Syndicate-associated organizations in other planets in large amounts.
The second main form of revenue is the sale of illegal weapons. Modified blasters, rifles, grenades, and military-grade firepower is bought, 'found', or stolen through various means and then sold to the highest bidder in blind auctions, in the black market, or shipped off in bulk (if there are enough weapons). Likewise with Paprika, Syndicate weapons are distributed throughout the galaxy.
Other illegal items, such as narcotics, counterfeit currency, exotic animals, and slaves are sold, but not in a quantity compatible to Paprika and weapons.
RATIONALE
John Doe created the Syndicate through amassing a criminal force large enough to distinguish him from petty gangs. Drawn to the clown's odd charisma, his numbers continue to swell. Bolstered by his main body, The Jesters (link above), John Doe has expanded by absorbing smaller gangs into his force, creating a larger criminal body in the underground of Nar Shaddaa.
