The Templar Order
"There is no Chaos, there is Order."
Q: What is the Templar Order?

A: The Templar Order is a militaristic monastic order which is dedicated to returning the Galaxy to Order amid the continuing Chaos created in the wake of the ongoing Jedi-Sith conflict. They view themselves as the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' a title which the Jedi Order has in recent years failed to uphold.

Q: Is the Templar Order like all those other 'Crusader' Factions before them?

A: No. What stands us apart from those Factions and similar factions is our policy of No Force Sensitive individuals are permitted within the Order. There are multiple groups already that have been permeated throughout with their own Force Users. This is a group strictly for Non-Force Users.

Q: Why would I want to join the Templar Order when Force Users are so cool and make up the primary reason that many people roleplay in a Star Wars setting?

A: Why wouldn't you? Yes the biggest draw of Star Wars is the Force Users, the Jedi and the Sith and all those little splinter factions in between. Yet where does that leave everyone else in the grand scale? You've those whom aren't Force Users often relegated to the background as their work in a conflict is over shadowed by the 'nearly infinite cosmic power' beings.

The Templar Order seeks to change this by providing those whom are either tired of playing the Force User, or whom want something new, can come and enjoy themselves. Likewise the Templar Order is a faction that is meant to prove that you can have just as much fun liberating a galaxy without the Force.

Q: If I join, what is there for the kind of person whom doesn't want to be a soldier or always in combat.

A: That depends on the person. While there is the main branch of the Templar Order, the Order itself, which is about making a mark on the map and carving out a sphere of influence; and there are the Seekers, those whom actively hunt down and fight Force Users within the Order and its holdings, this is not all that there is to the Order.

We have additional branches as well. For instance, perhaps you want to hunt down and discover ancient artifacts that are dangerous and belong in a vault. We've the Keepers just for that. Or maybe you're a Factory junkie that wants the entire board to see your skill. Join the Armorers and outfit the Order with your ideas. Or perhaps you just want to be a Florence Nightingale and help those displaced by the conflict between the Jedi and the Sith; then the Hospitallers are perfect for you.

Likewise we're always looking for new ideas, and would love to hear yours if you've one for a new branch or something to add to the Order. There's even the Pantheon belief system that can always be added to and looked towards for further development.

Q: Well, what about those that join the Order but don't want to be part of those factions or internal organizations?

A: We still welcome you, as there are a myriad of stories that are just waiting to be written. Perhaps you're a Force Sensitive that doesn't like the fact that you are and so you seek out the Order to find a means to strip you of that curse. Or you could be a Pro Force Sensitive whom is seeking to infiltrate the order to try and hinder it (be reasonable though with this though).

There are even those lost souls whom are displaced by the Jedi's inaction and the Sith's conquest that could just be relocating themselves, their family, or their business into Templar held territory as a means to escape the Jedi and Sith. If you think it, we can probably come up with a compelling story to develop and play out.

Q: Where can I learn more?

A: Our Faction Write up is constantly being updated and maintained and provides you with the largest amount of information on the Order. (Templar Order)

Q: I like what I'm seeing and I'm compelled to join, how do I do that?

A: Simple. Visit our Faction page and Join Today!

Q: What if I have further questions that haven't been answered above?

A: Then ask them in a post below or in the Templar Order write up thread as linked above. You'll question will be answered as quickly as possible, and to your satisfaction to the best of our ability to do so.

Hmm, I might turn this clone back into the Jedi killer he was. That is if you can find the commands to make him follow you :p

With the Yuuzhan Vong being essentially Force Dead, and their history having been filled with Conflict against Force Users, the Templar Order views them as kindred spirits to a point. The pantheon that the Templar Order has developed was done in part because of the pantheon that the Vong followed.
Yuuzhan Vong members would be welcomed with open arms, as many of the Vong tech is useful when it comes to confronting Force Users.

The Templar Order does not pay per-say. Its main ritual is that of the 'Right of Annulment' in which a prospective member usually surrenders all of their wealth, titles, power, etc etc to the Order as a symbol of them giving themselves fully to the tenants of the Order and for what it stands.
While this is not demanded nor forced upon individual members, those whom do not undergo the right are often looked at with a bit of suspicion.
The Order though would likely pay those individuals working in a mercenary or contract capacity, though this is rare as they would prefer to rely upon individuals of the Order when it comes to missions.

You would be welcomed in the Order if you decide to join. The Templar Order though would not actively seek such codes or any means that would force others to join their ranks or view things as they do. For them free choice is paramount and it reflects the short comings of Force Users whom utilize Mind Powers to get their way.

What of the Vong that currently serve the Sith? Most Vong are part of the OS, working with the Sith to destroy any foe. Do the templar view NFU who work with FU as a FU? If that makes sense.

The Templar Order do not view Non-Force Users whom work with Force Users, as by extension, Force Users.
However, with that said, those Vong that serve the Sith will be treated as any individual whom takes up arms against the Templar Order. They will be viewed as combatants, though in accordance to the rules of war, they will only be attacked if they attack first. Similarly, Templar Order forces would only fire upon an individual if fired upon first.
They would though be respected as any enemy that fights the Templar Order, which respects all those that enter combat with the Order.

Not gonna lie if I wasn't in full Imperial FOR THE EMPIRE mode - I'd make an alt and join this.

Who knows I may break down and just make an alt when I have the time in between Hauntruss' finale and First Order stuff.

Also where is your avatar from she looks SO familiar!~

Do it, you know you want to burn a heretic. Embrace the Order.
I digress. You would be welcome to join the Templar Order, and I do hope to see an alt of yours join. I enjoy your writing and your style and would love to see what you do with a Templar.
My avatar is Zita Gorog, whom played Amelia in the Underworld series (the first film and in Evolution).

The Templar Order is alive and well, thriving in the Galaxy.
Though the Sith and Jedi Orders continue to harm the Galaxy with their actions.
Join the Templar Order today and ensure that Peace returns to the Galaxy while purging those that would use the Force to reign over others.
