Background.
Grimm was a member of an elite Special Operations unit, who had been on many deniable and special ops. He was recruited into the IIB for Direct Action and Covert Operations. After a series of dangerous and deadly operations, and many years of service, he was promoted to Operations Officer, an O-8 ranking, putting him on even footing with a Brigidier General or a Sector Governor. His remit, however, remained the Bureau of Operations, and planning many a nefarious operation.
Strengths
Grimm has been touched by an Angel of Battle, and although he has died in service to the Emperor before, someone... or something has taken hand in those battles to bring him back to life. Older, and wiser now, Grimm uses his intelligence and his sources to plan key operations.

Although rare, Grimm still takes to the field, and employs stealth and concealment to his advantage.

Weaknesses
Grimm, a non Force User, relies more on squad tactics and also greater unit formations to achieve goals. His skills in one-on-one combat are excellent, but a skilled duellist, a Force-User or any other super/non -human has the advantage over him in strength and speed. Guile and experience are where Grimm's strengths lie, not in Force of Arms.
Grimm's tactical command is not leant to brute force tactics or Blitzkrieg strategies. He prefers the subtler side of combat, employing double agents and feints. In straight up fights, Grimm may have a disadvantage against a more bull-headed General.

Alpha and Omega
That's right... well, the Empire usually was a "til death do us part" organisation.. hence why we always had in-fights and familial tension like the dysfunctional family we all were...

Speaking of which, I believe I have to write a thread about my escape from the Empire...
