HISTORY
ORIGINS 01: FALSE PROMISES
"We are all the Republic."

Born as a single child on an unaligned, civilized planet rife with corruption between the Mid and Outer Rim, Jon grew up beset by lawlessness, neglect and a stark dichotomy between those who have and those who don’t. As new border lines were drawn across the galaxy with the waged war, his world suddenly gained the ‘luxury’ of becoming geopoliticaly strategic both to the rising Alliance and Imperial Order.
Hope for change came with the arrival of a group of Allied dignitaries on a diplomatic mission with promises of aid and assistance to those destitute.However, instead of delivering on their promises, the diplomats were revealed to be in league with the criminal syndicates that had the local government officials in their pockets; accepting bribes and kickbacks in exchange for turning a blind eye to the rampant corruption and crime. Witnessing the betrayal firsthand, Jon watched as his family were left to languish in despair, abandoned by the very government that was supposed to protect them.
But in the constant shifting shape of the universe, the lines on the map were redrawn once more. The Empire’s Sun dawned over the world, unapolegitacally taking control of the world and brutally punishing those who had for so long fed upon the weak. During these troubled times of conflict between the wicked of dying syndicates and the Imperials, Jon vividly remembers the ten-year old child he was held hostage at gunpoint before the arms of a stormtrooper lieutenant liberated him. In that moment Jon realized the true extent of democracy’s corruption and ineptitude, and he vowed to never again place his trust in a system that valued greed and self-interest over the needs of the people. From that day forward, Jon believed that only a strong and disciplined regime like the Empire could bring order and stability to the galaxy, instilling in him a deep-seated distrust of democracy and the Alliance.
ORIGINS 02: SEMPER SERVE...

The profound impact the stormtrooper officer who saved him during his childhood became the guiding star in his life. Jon followed in the steps of his white masked savior and enrolled into the Imperial Academy to become a stormtrooper officer and fulfill the Empire’s mission to maintain law and order across the galaxy.
A fast-track graduation followed due to the strong necessity of men on the fronts that were rife with death and meant a baptization by fire. Lieutenant Hojkstra’s high grades and certification from special forces school sent him into the ranks of the elite 8th Airborne Battalion "All-Imperial" of the 501st Legion as a Storm Commando. He served four tours on Ziost, the last being the fate-changing one.
With massive casualties mustered from the forlorn hope of an assault on the sith-imperial stronghold of Ziost, the call came from Coruscant for retreat of all GADF forces abandoning the New Imperial’s bloody effort to take the planet. The retreat led to the decimation of his unit leaving him the sole-survivor of his group of brothers. The battle was won, but at what cost?
ORIGINS 03: QUE USQUE PRO IMPERIUM IBIS

After the Battle of Ziost, he was decorated with numerous honors for his staunch and indomitable service to the Emperor’s Will. His reputation reached the dark rooms of the Imperial Security Bureau and he was handpicked by the intelligence agency in the formation of small, black ops unit called Section 141 that brought together the very best from the varying Imperial military branches.
Assassinations, infiltration, torture, force user hunting… you name it. The clandestine unit operated completely off-the-grid and always under treacherous circumstances. Drowned in a sea of blood, the unit developed a strong sense of brotherhood between each other; they became the family away from home. But all the promises that the blood they shed would bring a closer end to the war were all for naught. The unit was heavily decimated during an ambush and was immediately after disbanded.
ORIGINS 04: BAD LUCK AND TROUBLE

Returning home distraught and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and a state of heightened anxiety as though he is under threat, Jon Hojkstra joined a veteran support group led by one of the few survivors of Section 141, Pax. Through the numerous sessions, he found a way to break himself from endless warzone in his head and move on. A year passed and he was able to settle with woman by his side, a partner in life, all the while the Empire began unraveling from within; a single state led by a single figurehead crumbling into numerous domains. The Empire was carved like a carcass by power-hungry butchers, each seeking to form their own kingdom… but Jon’s war was over, let the Empire, the galaxy rearrange itself as it willed, right?
No.
The decadence of nation once proud that followed with the dissolution of the Empire, the return of lawlessness and corruption culminated into the mysterious murder of his former comrade Pax. The straw that broke the bantha’s back. Endeavouring into investigating his death, Jon soon discovered that the spook who created and led the unit was corrupt, operating for personal again rather than the Empire's interests and had been behind Pax’s murder and killing spree that picked off the remaining comrades from Section 141. Haunted by the loss of his comrades and consumed by grief and rage, Hojkstra was determined to uncover the truth behind their deaths and root out the traitors within the Empire’s own ranks.
ORIGINS 05: V FOR VENDETTA
"If you want peace, prepare for war."

As he delved deeper into his investigation, Jon uncovered evidence linking high-ranking officials to the conspiracy behind his unit's demise. The revelation shook him to his core, challenging everything he believed about the Empire and its ideals. Yet, despite his growing disillusionment, Hojkstra remained steadfast in his commitment to bringing the traitors to justice, driven by a burning desire for vengeance and a need to honor the memory of his fallen comrades.
Fueled by his emotions, Hojkstra embarked on a relentless vendetta against those responsible, confronting enemies both within and outside the Empire. Along the way, he faced betrayal, danger, and heartache, but he refused to waver in his quest for justice even when it cost him his relationship with his romantic partner.
ORIGINS 06: CRIMSON JUSTICE

Leaving behind a trail of blood and death in his wake, delivering his own form of justice to those responsible, he was finally captured on Coruscant by a team of Alliance Marshalls and SIS agents. They had been investigating the series of killing sprees across Alliance space that had left an army of bodies of underworld gangs and former Imperials that had sought escape through the amnesty given by the Alliance after the Empire’s dissolution; all of whom were directly or indirectly involved in Spook’s personal agenda and subsequently Jon’s comrades’ deaths.
He was sentenced to a life in prison on Coruscant.
Jon Hojkstra was finally content.
