STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :

Socialite: Jorco considers himself something of schmoozer and a diplomat. Often wishing to talk himself out of situations rather than risking violence. He also knows a large amount of languages.

Dogfighter: One of the ways Jorco's force sensitivity manifests. He is something of an accomplished pilot and navigator. Not only does his piloting skills come in handy just when pulling off daring maneuvers as well in non combat scenarios.

Mind Tricks: Jorco by nature of his more deceitful tendencies has used and or abused his force sensitivity to fool others. Either into doing his bidding or to get away with petty crimes, or turn one's allies into foes. Being something of a charlatan himself he has managed to use these abilities to great effect. Though he must be careful not to use such abilities on those with a keen mind.


Trickster: Jorco knows he's something of a sly individual. Relying more so on cunning and wit rather than his skill with a blaster or his fists to get the job done. But if I did come to a fight he would do his best to play every dirty trick in the book which certainly wouldn't earn him and honor points.

Trouble Maker: Historically he has always had a problem with rules and has gotten himself in many pickles that he has made it out of almost on luck alone. His compulsion to lying and gambling isn't helpful either.

Dirtied Reputation: Given his flawed history in the CIS and failed business ventures Jorco for though who know him has something of a dark cloud over himself. Not a lot of people would wanna work with someone who failed to cover up a civil war on their home world.


Coward: An insult to many across Rodia. Often choosing to run from his problems unless he is in a position of an incredibly unfair advantage.

APPEARANCE: Looks are key to a persona like Jorco, often choosing to dress rather sharply. Wearing a flatcap over his head. Typically with two holes for his antennae to poke through comfortably. Also Jorco often wears a overpowering, if not offensive amount of colonge to hide his natural rodian odor.


Personality: Despite Jorco's mostly tough attitude he's never been too much of a fighter, and more so a schemer. In his mind talking big game and being able to convince others you can do it is far better then needing to actually prove yourself. If he can get someone else to do something for him he will. As someone who has been on the front lines of battle himself he finds that it doesn't sit well with him much despite often benefiting much from conflict, so long as it's experienced from others. He is easily classified as a social parasite.

BIOGRAPHY:
Early Life

Growing up in a relatively poor family on Nar Shaddaa, Jorco spent most of his life in and around Hutt Space. This making him be no stranger to the criminal world and what it had to offer. Getting into his first gang in his teenage years, he spent a lot of his time away from home. With having been surrounded by a many unhealthy peers he developed some bad habits like gambling, not much longer these habits became compulsions. Getting into debt way too often and needing the help of others to get him by. This gave Jorco the lack of feeling like he had a true identity when living off others. Giving him a warped self image as a leach.

Eventually it had gotten to the point where he'd embrace it, and found a liking to conning others and making a good profit from it. In his young adult life Jorco made a name for himself when he started forming his own gang, primarily made up of other Rodians. But acted as a bit of an "honorable" mafia. Selling out security to some of the most crime infested parts of Nar Shaddaa. Where most of the time the threat of being on his gangs bad side was enough to deter crime from establishments under his protection.


Political Life on Rodia and the Confederacy

Around this Jorco had started getting in good with the blossoming CIS who by that time had taken Rodia under their sphere of influence. Being one of the few Rodians within the power structure of the interstellar government he was given the offer to lead the planet as a viceroy. Being such a political authority could work wonders for his criminal elements, which by this time had created a private security firm as a front.

However, there was a great risk involved. Jorco was not born on Rodia, and for many on the planet that made him "sub-rodian" at best. ill fit to fill the role of the Grand Protector of Rodia. For better or for worse Jorco was no stranger to risk taking, being something of a gambler himself.

For a while it was good being the leader of Rodia for him. Using his newfound political authority to better his life and those looked after as his own private interests. He was something of a kleptocrat and hid much of his identity to the wider public of rodia. Being born off world he had no real strong connection to any of the clans of the world. In fact he had a hard time relating to some of the clan politics of it. Thus he started D.U.P. (Deployment of Unity Project) An ambitious civil initiative from Jorco to try and peacefully unify the planet and it's population and quell the clan tensions of the population.

Unfortunately for Jorco this was his greatest failure in his entire life. Naturally a population accustomed to thousands of years of planetary warfare was unwilling to simply coexist as if nothing their history with one another meant nothing. Secondly Jorco's illusive status was broken and his identity as an a foreigner was reveled to the public. This caused the planet to almost overnight to be plunged into a bloody civil war one that Jorco himself was in no position to handle. To make matters worse he did everything in his weakening power to cover up his failure to the larger confederate government.

He used his wealth and hoarded resources to employ legions of xeno mercenaries into the planet to try and subjugate the population. Which only added fuel to the fire and put a larger target on his back. Eventually Jorco's own safety was no longer guaranteed and was forced to sneak out of the planet in the chaos. Which came with the wider confederacy knowing off the horrible state of Rodia. Where CIS forces now needed to partake in the bloody civil war and finish it with their vast armies. While Jorco fled into the galaxy to avoid punishment.


Consequences and Reintroduction into the Galaxy

Sadly it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, since Jorco was no longer part of the CIS he was easily caught and imprisoned in silver jedi territory. Because of his lack of allegiance he was given no support. It was possible that he wouldn't get any support given his soured reputation in the CIS for what he "accomplished" In Rodia. However, the CIS made a specials request to have him transported and imprisoner in Confederate space proper.

From there it would see as though Jorco would live the rest of his life behind bars in a secluded CIS prison. But not empire lasts forever and the CIS was no exception. In time the government and power dissolved. After vanishing from the galactic map there was a lack of authority. This for Joroc culminated in his prison accomplishing a violent uprising and the ensuing escape of many prisoners including the sly rodian himself.

Now once more free, with nothing but a few hidden offshore assets that Jorco has promptly liquidated to fund this new chapter in his life. Cautious of his failures and overextension he is looking to stay small, and downsize from his original operation. Believing that with great power, came great accountability. Something that Jorco would now like to steer clear of as a tricky freelance spacer.
