BIOGRAPHY:
Born on the world of Bataan in Wild Space, Joriz originally grew up in a village commune as the first born of his parents. From his father he learned to shoot, hunt and live off the land and from his mother how to cook, read and write. In the years that followed Joriz would have three younger siblings, Zambal, Datu and Mari.
It was a simple life but one day a rival commune raided their home and among those slain were his parents and most of his siblings. Joriz was only twelve years old at the time.
He and the youngest sibling Mari survived and were taken as captives. Soon they and the other survivors were sold to offworlders. The siblings found themselves as slaves of a brutal Zyggerian gangster on Outland Station.
From that time on Joriz did everything he could to protect his sister, making it his personal mission to keep Mari alive till they're freed or at least she can be. In the years that followed Joriz eventually went from a chore boy to an enforcer for his owner while Mari learned to pickpocket and secretly hack into systems.
It was when Joriz turned nineteen years old their lives changed again when the duo learned their master had a sizable bounty on his head. Using her computer skills Mari framed the crime boss' lieutenant as cheating the former from his credits, causing a massive fight amongst the gang.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Joriz knocked out the gangster, taking him with them as they escaped the station. They turned their former master in to the authorities on Naboo for the reward, fully gaining their freedom.
Inspired by the success Joriz and Mari became a bounty hunting team. They journeyed the stars for the next few years with the older brother doing the field work while the sister provided support through intelligence gathering and hacking. Recently made aware about the League of Autonomous Worlds and their cause the duo had decided to check out this new coalition for themselves.
