  Josephine was born to loving parents, Lucinyia and her husband Calvin. The oldest of three children and the only girl, Josie grew up a complete daddy's girl. Perhaps it was from this that she learned that people could be manipulated into doing what she wanted. The granddaughter of Fiolette Fortan and being of relation to the crown of Dosuun made Josie something of a local celebrity. Coupled with the wealth that her grandmother had created, there was scarcely a thing that Josie was ever truly in want for. The pretty and popular girl in school, she didn't get to enjoy such a status as often as people might think. Her mother was quite hard on her and wanted the young girl to value her education more than anything else. Sent off to the best boarding schools on Dosuun, Josie would do just that.
  
  With a bright young mind, it was clear she would have a knack for innovation and design. Among her credentials had been a proposal for improving older designs along with ways to reuse materials that would not only strengthen existing structures but cut costs down on maintenance. The proposal was sent along to Primo Victorian's Civilian Engineering Group who were so impressed they used the proposal as a basis for new renovation designs in Avalonia. She was awarded the Young Engineer of the Year Award for 872, something that placed her promptly in her aunt's sights as a possible heir apparent. Ryssa who runs the company that grandmother Fio created, had been grooming nephew Arthur Badaire as a possible successor but Josie's recent successes it's opened up some familial competition between the cousins.
  
  The woman's ambitions don't stop at Primo Victoria.
  
  Hoping to become a Moff in her own right, Josie has opted to leave the confines of Dosuun for the big Imperial lights of Bastion. In fact, it isn't just Moff that she had her eyes on, she hopes to achieve the title of Grand Moff. Something she considers to be a rite of passage in the family, a rite started well over twenty years ago. However; the caveat here is that she conceals her true nature. Josie was discovered to be sensitive to the Force. Lucinyia ensured that she would be trained by the Imperial Knights of Avalonia, Josie had other plans.
