TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Dagger
  • Size: One-handed
  • Length: 20 cm
  • Weight: 0.3 kg
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The handle contains a compact array of computers and slicing equipment, nothing beyond a typical slicer's tools.
Strengths:
  • Utility - The ability to stab someone and then immediately hack a console has never been more convenient.
  • Speed - The slicing programming has been modified to override most consoles with brute force, inefficient though it may be.
Weaknesses:
  • One Job - The knife is used to hack consoles. If it cannot hack a certain console, it simply is not up to the task. Therefore, high security consoles such as bank vaults or Omega Pyre doors cannot be hacked by this knife. Other, higher-tech solutions must be employed.
  • Not Self-cleaning - If used to stab someone, it will need to be cleaned before it can be used to hack something, though a quick wipe will usually take care of the problem.
DESCRIPTION
Approximately the width and thickness of a keycard, the 'slicer' will usually fit between most control panels or consoles. Used to brute-force its way past general security, it makes things much easier for a slicer to work their way through doors and consoles. It's convenient, which means it's not too high-tech. And because it's not too high-tech, it can't bust through the top-notch security. Still, it's not meant for top-notch security.

It's meant for door panels, computer terminals, and space-craft dashboards. Anything above that probably won't be hacked - higher-tech equipment will be necessary for higher-tech security.

[member="Darth Ananta"] Yes, and I rewrote it slightly for clarity -

  • The handle contains a compact array of slicing equipment, nothing beyond a typical slicer's tools.
