- Unit Name: Judgement Company
- Affiliation: Adjudicators (Secret)
- Classification: Black Ops Unit
- Description: Born out of the surviving units of the Battle of Ord Mantell and former special forces operators Judgement Troopers are the most elite and secretive unit of the Adjudicators, their existence known only by flag officers of the mercenary company. These troopers are rarely deployed on standard mercenary ops, only being let loose to further the agenda of the Adjudicators, whether it be assassinating deserters or operations provided by Kenth's most trusted clients. Officially they do not exist and are classed as an independent organisation to those who know of them.
- Unit Size: Small - A company of 150 operators
- Unit Availability: Rare
- Unit Experience: Elite
- Equipment:
- Combat Function: The unit is highly independent from the rest of the Adjudicators even from the fleet, based aboard the Viconna. The troops wear a variety of armour made of Duraplast and armourweave with the pieces themselves modified by each trooper and bearing no relation to the plastoid armour the main adjudicator force wears. Able to operate in a wide range of environment these elite troops stop at nothing to complete their mission, whether that be infiltrating and sabotage or extermination missions.
- Black Ops - These soldiers are highly trained in executing a mission and leaving without a trace. They can operate in numerous environments and their team structures means that the the specialisations of each team member allow them to accomplish a variety of different tasks, from dealing with explosives ordnance, slicing data or vehicle combat.
- Loyalty - Chosen from the most loyal to the Imperial cause Judgement troopers strive to ensure everyone remembers nobody is beyond the judgement of Imperial law. This unit does not suffer from defections and any who do consider defection are rooted out, given a heavy dose of amnestics and returned to the main fleet.
- Small Numbers - Operating in small teams in usually no larger than a platoon the Judgment troopers wouldn't be capable of fighting a pitch battle by themselves. If ever faced in a pitch battle the troopers would need reinforcements and if none came then they are expected to die fighting rather than be captured.
- Cruelty - Due to the nature of their job they have often been called cruel by the softer members of the Adjudicator high command. They do not shy away from causing civilian casualties nor executing their allies in order to hide the knowledge of their existence.
After the Battle of Ord Mantell and the failure of the Adjudicators in capturing their primary target Kenth decided a new unit would need to be created in order to take on far more delicate missions which require more specialised troopers. The first cohort of troopers were made up of the survivors of the Battle, those who had shown excellence in combat and proficiency in arms. From their former special forces members from other Adjudicator units were funnelled out and into the new Judgement company which became based on the Viconna, a stealth frigate captured during the invasion. Each trooper would have his identity erased and provided a new one with their fingerprints removed and genetics altered, allowing for no links back to their true loyalties. These troopers would go in to begin serving the Adjudicators in the shadows, being called upon for missions which required absolute secrecy.
