BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Concordia, moon of Mandalore, Julm was the son of an infamous Mandalorian warrior known as the A'den, the Rage or the Wrath. The A'den's true name, Hondo Surma, remained secret as he trained his son in the ways of the nomad and the warrior. Raised on the move, the family relocated to Mandalore where they continued to raise Julm undisturbed from the nearby rivals that plagued the family.
Life on Mandalore was rough for the young boy, he was forced to hone his survival instincts and hunt for himself in the wild. Like many boys his age, Julm's life centered on the focus of becoming a warrior and prove himself in the eyes of Clan Skirata. This truth became Julm's only goal, in doing so he would earn the respect of his distant father who kept to himself in an effort to harden the boy into a successor to his legacy. Finding many rivals along his path to becoming a warrior, Julm beat his way to the respect he deserved as he brought honor to his clan and to his father. His reward for such maturity and skill was the chance to pilot his father's Basilisk War Droid, a memory Julm would hold dear for the rest of his life.
The ultimate test of his accumulated skills soon followed after the end of his training, he had come of age as a man and was tasked with killing one of Mandalore's most vicious carnivores. The Shriek Hawk. Julm stalked the animal for days armed with nothing but his wits and raw brawn, learning the habits of the creature and it's home in the mountains. When the time finally came the Mandalorian gathered rock and flint to create arrowheads, proceeding to further this with the creation of a bow from the forest and arrows from the twigs. The battle ensured after the creature was sound asleep, utilizing his training he got the drop on the vicious beast and attempted to kill the savage bird of prey in one quick move. The result was an hour long battle between man and monster as Julm struggled to keep out of it's reach and fight it airborne. In the end the Mandalorian was triumphant and came back to the commune a man... a man with the head of a monster.
The next few years was a true test for the man as he followed his father into battle against pirates, rivals, and mercenaries of note coming to cash in on Hondo's head. Julm fought alongside his father and soon alongside his clan as he fought valiantly as a warrior. Yet as the years passed, Julm became disillusioned with his father who went off on his own exploits, keeping many secret from the clan and from Julm. It wasn't until Julm discovered his father's secrets that he fell into despair. Hondo, the infamous Mandalorian warrior, had been selling kidnapped Mandalorian children to the Hutts in exchange for monetary goods and a end to the ceaseless hunt the Hutts had for his head. Julm was ashamed of his father, yet could not find the will to alert the others to his misdeeds. Hondo confronted by his son, immediately turned on his successor in an attempt to keep his secret. Julm fought valiantly against his father until he struck down the elder in a hand to hand duel. In a moment of reconciliation, Hondo asked his son to deliver the final blow in an attempt to reclaim some honor left. Julm did just that, in Hondo's final moments the Skirata found Julm delivering the finishing blow to Hondo. Accused of murder of the great legend, Julm left the planet in self exile before he shared the same fate as his father who many continued to rever as a hero.
In his exile, Julm took up the bottle and used varying drugs to numb his pain. It wasn't until he found work on Nar Shaddaa that he took up the calling of the warrior once more in the form of the Bounty Hunter. Years passed, Julm became a reliable asset to the local Hutts, tracking down their enemies and those who found themselves in their displeasure. Julm nearly drank himself to death until he had a chance meeting with a woman who would come to save his life. Valencia Ranhol, a Jedi Consular who had been sent to tend to the homeless in an attempt to make a difference found the Mandalorian and nursed him to health. Julm slowly recuperated and sought help for his growing addiction to alcohol and various drugs like spice or death sticks which he had grown accustomed to. Julm slowly fought his addiction until he was ready to resume work to escape the near poverty he placed on himself during his drug addiction. Valencia aided him in the transition as he found a new friend to confide in until he leave for Republic space once again. Julm found work once more with a special powerbroker known as 'Jinouga the Collector' who payed for the best protection he could find. Julm didn't argue he was good... and it was a job..
It was on this very job that he met the Sith Lord Havok and his apprentice Sovereign beginning a rivalry that would spiral into a blood feud. It was after this event that the Mandalorian became suffering from heart attacks and sought out professional help, the problem was graver than he ever realized. The Mandalorian was told that his death would be projected between 35- 40 years of age due to heart failure from the Death Sticks he enjoyed years ago. Angered, the Mandalorian wandered in despair as he slowly came to grips with his waning health and repurposed his life to the betterment of the Mandalorian People. Eventually throughout his travels the Mandalorian sought to return home in an effort to redeem himself to his clan and to better himself as a Bounty Hunter in order to reclaim his honor once and for all.
