Name: Juniper WeissNicknames: Jun, Juni, Jun-Bug
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Species: Half Zeltron, half Human
Height: 5’7”
Eyes: Greyish-green
Hair: Mint colored and semi-long
Force Sensitive: No
Faction: None thus
Strengths:
Jun is incredibly outgoing. There isn’t a shy bone in her body – or a modest one either for that matter – and she uses it to her advantage when it comes to people
She gained some of the more favorable traits from her half Zeltron heritage, which includes being able to project emotions onto others. She can also hear some other people’s thoughts
She’s a strategist, a very thorough thinker when she needs to be, and can generally hash out a game plan for a situation in a matter of minutes.
Being a bartender at The Dive, Jun is very popular and well connected. She has friends in both high and low places, with plenty of favors owed to her for one reason or another.
Weaknesses:
Sometimes hearing people’s thoughts can become overwhelming, and quickly. And then there’s the fact that Jun cannot read everybody, and it frustrates her – especially when it’s someone she needs information from
Another little quirk she got from her Zeltron blood would be the pheromones, and those she cannot control. Granted, they don’t permeate all of the time, but if she becomes flushed/flustered, or gets too excited for whatever reason, the results are out of her control
Despite being a people person, Jun has some trust issues. She lets very few people into her real inner circle. She has /maybe/ a handful of people that she can really trust, and who can blame her? Between the emotional projection and the pheromones, she can never really tell who is around her for what reasons.
Personality:
Juniper is a firecracker, and that’s in general. She’s feisty, and she has absolutely no problems with standing toe to toe with the big boys and putting them in their place when the need arises. But, being a bartender she generally likes to keep people happy. When people are happy, they tip better, and if that means she has to take the time to project some happy feelings onto her patrons? So be it. Jun isn’t at all ashamed of what she is – or partially is, though she has complained a time or two about bearing a more human appearance. She’s outgoing in all ways, and likes to stand out, and to her being a varying shade of red would only help her to accomplish that.
Bio:
According to Juniper’s mother, it had been a very wild vacation spent on Zeltros that had brought about the conception that lead to Jun. Her mother had been out on a very long planned trip with her friends, and they hadn’t even been on vacation a full two days before she had met Jun’s biological father. One thing lead to another – over and over again – and not so surprisingly by the end of the trip the pair had parted ways. And then lo and behold, baby Jun.
There had been no desperate attempt to contact the father, Jun’s mother hadn’t seen a point in it. She gave birth and raised her daughter on her own up until she met her current husband. The rest should have been happily ever after, but that wasn’t the case. There was no disaster or tragedy of any sort, but Jun had started to exhibit Zeltron traits before the age of ten, and by the time she hit puberty? The girl wasn’t allowed to leave the house unattended due to the lack of control over the newly present pheromones.
That naturally brought a rebellious streak out in Juniper, and the older she got, the worse it became. She would sneak out, run off, do whatever she could just to have a few hours of freedom. This of course got her into all sorts of trouble, but at least she wasn’t cooped up in the house. By the time she was old enough to really take care of herself, Jun took the first transport away from her parents, and spent her time hopping around from place to place.
She still hasn’t completely settled, but she has found a steady job and a place to call home at the very least. The pay is good, the boss knows about her little quirks, and as such the security keeps the idiots in check – when said security don’t become the idiots themselves, that is.
