- Reduced Recoil: Due to the custom Recoil Mitigation System and Barrel Porting the pistol has notable less recoil than the KSP-1 which it was based off
- Low Capacity: Even though it holds more rounds than it's predecessor Juno's custom pistol stills holds less ammunition than a contemporary blaster pistol
- Average in Most Places: In most places besides Stopping Power and Recoil the pistol is a rather average affair and doesn't shine
Many don't know this but Hekler'Kok Defense Industries also produces weapons for individual custom tailored to their needs just as well as it produces weapons for governments. One such custom contract they have undertaken was a pair of requests for Juno Kryze , one for a pistol and another for a close quarters rifle. The Hekler'Kok design team decided to work on the pistol first and got to work almost as soon as they received the request.
The design team looked at the specifications that were sent with the request and found that a pistol they had already produced for another contract, the KSP-1, had all the necessary requirements and features already requested and room for improvements that would increase the usefulness of the pistol.
With the design itself chosen next the team moved onto the materials they would use to construct the weapon. The request was that the weapon be made out of pure ultrachrome but the design team decided instead to make it out of their trademark Alusteel-Titanium alloy and then plated it with Ultrachrome. Next the team constructed the barrel out of Dallorian alloy to reduce overheating and lined the barrel with Chromium to reduce wear and tear on the barrel. Finally they finished by coating the in their patented CeramiCoat to protect the weapon from any environment it came up against.
Lastly they decided on the features, all of which would be retained and two extras would be added. Custom Barrel Porting and a custom Recoil Mitigation System were added to reduce recoil, two features that were too expensive to be widely fielded in the model the pistol was based off of.
