Strengths:
  • Space-proof: The armor is fully sealed, allowing users to fight effectively in space
  • Face armour: With no visor or otherwise weak points in the faceplate, it is highly unlikely for users to have head injuries, even from heavier blasters

Weaknesses:

  • Ion blindness: EMP and Ion weapons will blind the user by disrupting the operations of the helmet’s screen
  • Sonic weapons: Another strange design quirk of Arms Dynamics equipment, any headshot from sonic weapons can easily liquefy the head of a wearer
  • Red means dead: The sensors connected to the screen glow a dull red, possibly giving away the position of the wearer

DESCRIPTION

The first standard infantry armour for human combatants developed in the Nothmiro Federation's modernization program, the Jury is an adaptable, rugged suit of fully enclosed combat armour for both ground based assaults and space-based boarding actions. The main selling point of the Jury was the heavy facial armour and capable HUD that protected the wearer without compromising the integrity of the facial armour, but the trade-off is that ion or EMP weapons can fry the screen and blind the user.

The Jury was originally developed in late 858 ABY and has only just entered mass production, but it has proven to be the favourite of the Peacekeeping Corps.
