Just a minor issue.

The current map that is posted up.

I'm having issues with it. I don't know where a number of planets are and this who controls them so I could to on them (I kinda want to ask before I start doing some stuff). These planets are:

- Rishi
- Terminus
- Rishi Maze
- Iridonia
- Dantooine
- Illum
- Rakata Prime
- Dathomir
- Those immediately off the top of my head.

Why is the map so.......augmented?

Without giving the map a close investigation, I can tell you that Iridonia currently belongs to the One Sith. OS is in the process of taking control over Rakata Prime. Illum is independent. Dathomir belongs to the Mandalorians.

I'm not sure why you're having issues with it. It appears clear to me, even when you zoom. You're using this link, right?

I found the planets I'm looking for. Such as Terminus, no where near were its suppose to be, but okay. I guess this works? Ish? That map is.....interesting....I was Zooming in, but I guess I'm use to a grid and stuff that's more.....EU. I guess this will do(ish).

If I were to redo the map. Who would have to check off of it to make sure that it can be taken as 'legit'?

-sorry for derailing this, just noticed Razor's comment and wanted to quickly offer an alternative suggestion before I move on-

Actually, it appears that the planet is more of an homage to Mr. Asimov's work, rather than a ripoff. Furthermore, it also states in the link that Coruscant was inspired by the city-planet Trantor. Cool beans, all in all. :)

Also- if you look, hardly any of the planet's are where they're supposed to be...from our perspective. The Chaos map is actually at a different angle than the traditionally used EU maps (like this one). Almost 90 degrees, I think.

@Kersta
Yeah I could see that I guess. Trantor was almost exactly like Coruscant only bigger and dug deeper into the ground etc.

Anyway yeah dude the current Map is horrendous sometimes to look at. I recommend going back to the last updated map. Usually that one will let me zoom in!

Galactic North to South, the map is skewed clockwise about 30-50 degrees. Some of the planets are also very slightly misplaced due to going from a grid system to a hex system. However, I have cross-referenced dozens of planets and made a handful myself, so I can personally attest to a fair level of accuracy.

The hard part is finding one planet in a cloud of dozens, sometimes hundreds. But if you look in their general area while zoomed, it usually doesn't take too long.

I hope that helps you in your search for the rest.
