just a padawan now

Gabe was sitting in a bar on a planet on the outer rim.He had short brown hair, with a scar going down the left side of his face his eyes were blue and he was wearing simple tan, brown, and black robes. He leaned back in his sit runs his hand through his hair.He was here to meet someone who maybe could be his master.

Gabe thought about what type of person they could be.He wondered if they would get along he wondered what he could learn. He hopped his maybe master would be a pretty woman which would bring his natural flirtly side out.If his master was a pretty woman he would be more willing to learn. So he sat back and reached out in the force hopping that would help.

Bars were not necessarily the places where Lilin would spend her time as she had a ton load of other things to do at the same time, fighting the darkness and evil people in the galaxy being her top priority. But that didn't mean she wouldn't set her foot into them. If there was a need for that, she would be alright with seeing what they were like.

And that was one of these moments.

She'd been promoted to Knight rank very short time ago and she didn't quite know what being a master to somebody was like, but she did hope everything would go fine. After all, she had her friends in the Covenant to rely on if she messed up. She was sure one of the Taliths could help her out if she got into trouble, if not anybody else.

She just had to hope she wouldn't mess up.

The bar was kind of strange in atmosphere -- unusual to Lilith. But she did manage to locate the person she'd been contacted by and so she marched towards him. Looked kind of older than she'd imagined.

"Hello!" she said as she ended up next to the man.

Gabe had a smile on his face he was happy to have a pretty lady for a master. He stands up and pulls out a chair for her."Why don't you have a sit I couldn't let a beautiful woman like yourself standing."

"Thank you!" the girl would reply with the most lady-like phrase and voice she could think of while taking a seat on the chair. And even though she did not want to spend a whole lot of time there, she did decide to feel quite comfortable and see what the man was like. It was great to see what a person was both sober and drunk.

She clearly shouldn't have been thinking such things.

One thing that made her feel unsure about all of that was the fact that she hadn't had a master of her own while she was still a Padawan so she didn't know what to expect. What was a padawanhood like? What was being a master to somebody like? She would have to ask somebody for such things.

"So you are... Gabe, right?"

"The pleasure is mine," Lilin spoke while taking a glance at the menu. She would most likely be drinking water, but just to be sure, she thought she'd take a look at what they had to offer. Perhaps they would have juices or anything that she would enjoy a little bit more than alcohol or plain water. Her eyes looked over the whole list of things one could offer but she couldn't find a single thing she liked. So it had to be water.

She turned her head back to the Padawan and smiled.

"So, I guess you already know I'm Lilin. But if not, then that's my name." She looked at the man. They seemed to get along for a moment now, perhaps they would manage to get it going that way for the whole padawanhood. She wouldn't want to mess up with her very first Padawan -- it would have made her heart break and leave a bad mark on her.

She looked at the menu again and said, "Could I get a glass of water for me, please."

He smiles and stands up."I'll be right back with your water."He then heads to.the bar and orders two waters. He then walks back sitting her water in front of his.He sits down with his own water."There you go."

When the boy returned, Lilin smiled at her and, once again, had to say, "Thank you!" as an answer. She took the glass of water, brought it closer to her mouth and with no hesitation, took a sip of the drink. It tasted like nothing, which was exactly what she had wanted. Water would keep her alert, as well as it would be nice to take a sip of it if there was an awkward silence.

Of course, there was no thing as an awkward silence for Lilin.

"So, Gabe, tell me, who are you? I'd like to know a little bit more about you," the girl said after putting the glass down again. She would imagine a great Knight or a Master starting their master-student relationship that way. Kind of like a signature phrase for people, she'd heard. And what else would she do than use it? If it was a nice question and worked out greatly all the time, there was no need to try something different.

While the boy would talk about himself, she would keep looking at him, take a sip of the water once again and smile.

"Hmm, perhaps your age, where you're from, who you are, maybe a short overview of your past," Lilin replied to the man's question. "Anything that matters, really." She was sure that the man would have some awesome stories to tell and she would gladly listen to all of them. Knowing the student she'd have to teach and stand for in the next months, maybe even years, would make the two's relationship better. They had to get along, otherwise LIlin wouldn't manage to be a master to the Padawan.

Maybe that's why the Taliths, even though they were all Knights or Masters, never took on their own real Padawans? Maybe they were afraid of the thought of being a teacher to one? Maybe they didn't think their age would quite allow them to be successful?

At that moment, she thought maybe she was a little bit too young as well. She was still seventeen, only had become a Knight. Maybe she could have enjoyed her life a little bit more, learned on her own and experienced a lot more of the life of a force user before taking on a person who she'd have to teach?

No, she was sure she'd made the right decision. She'd let go of her doubts and make her way through this. She only had to believe in herself and in the Padawan.

Gabe sits and thinks and takes a drink of water."Well my age is 26 and I'm a traveler but tend to stay in republic space.I can found on the capital of the republic. My personality is pretty much as you see is there more you like to know."

"Well, that's a really short overview," Lilin noted. She had expected something more, something grander, deeper about the person's life and history and so on. Maybe he wanted to keep it a secret, maybe he didn't want to reveal everything about himself just yet? Who knew, maybe the Padawan even had amnesia and didn't remember much about who he was? She could never be sure.

"Then I'll go and tell you a little bit more about yourself," she continued. And even though she was in no condition where she would want to talk about who she was an what struggles she dealt with inside, she felt like building trust and not having a barrier between them would do good for their further relationship. Perhaps that way she could even succeed in teaching the Padawan?

"So, I'm seventeen, born on an outer rim planet Zahat'n'ira. It's a nice place, to be honest. My mother was a Sith Lord, my father is an ex-Jedi who left the Order to marry my mother. I have two siblings, one of them is an untrained Force user, the other one -- I have no idea what she is."

Ugh, she was getting into the uncomfortable zone.

"And... that's about it."

Gabe was a little uneasy and unsure of what to tell her about himself. He wasn't big about talking about hisself but it maybe be something that could help his traing. She was offering things to him about herself so he should try to tell her about hisself. But the thought about it made him him nervous for some reason he could not explain. He thought about how it would be best to tell her about himself now he would do his best to."Well I can honestly say I didn't think I would become a Jedi at an early age that thought didn't come to me till adulthood.I do enjoy traveling in republic space it's a good way to meet people.I started to learn to fight and train when I was a teenager."He needed to
Think a little more on what else to tell her.Its not like he didn't want to be open with her about himself. He just didn't know how to go about it but he would try for the sake of his training.Becuase the more she knew about him may give her a better idea in how to trying him."I also grew up with just my father he was the one that started me training. He also helped me with thinking becoming a Jedi would be a good thing.Eventhough I was sad to be going about the path without him it was the best thing for me."
