Just another Routine patrol

[Kyrel Ren]

Location:First Order Space.

Kyrel would normally be out on a routine mission, for the Ren. Or he would just be in his home meditating and such. But this was no normal day, Kyrel was summoned by [member="Sara Lee Jones"] Captain of Bolt Squadron, for a special mission. She wanted to investigate an old outpost that hadn't been heard from arriving,so he took an old TIE Advanced along with her fighter. They had left the hanger on Dosaan within no time,and went out into the Unknown Regions quickly.

His fighter screeched as it zoomed through deep space. He commed her over once when he saw the base within his sights. "Well captain I see our objective. It looks to be somehow empty." He said his breathing echoing. He eyed it as it looked strangely abandoned. He rested his hands on the control yokes,and allowed the fighter to hover,while he was thinking of there next move.

Mission like these gave Sara the chills, a two fighter mission meant either a small patrol or one of these jobs you've got barely any Intel on

However she wouldn't complain it was her job to do such things, she flew a different tie then the usual, flying a tie interceptor this time she listned in as she watcged the base approach

*alright bring to a hover*

She said as they both stopped, Sara started switching channels as she frowned

*outpost isn't transmittimg...just as the briefing said odd...looking on the auxiliary channels*

She said and switched through them, she found one playing a coded message, she listned as she frowned

*auxiliary channel 4 has a emergency signal going...best to approach with caution fall in to my left*

She said as she started moving forward

He rested his hands on the control yokes. He manuevered his fighter to follow her, than he stopped and looked around. It didn't feel right and than he said something in acknowledgement. "I sense something." He than saw what looked to be uglies coming in fast. A squadron of what looked to be fighter parts stuck together, came and attacked them from the sides. He quickly manuevered the arc of turbolaser fire,and than said quickly over the comm. "Evasive action. Engage hostiles immediately,kill those in your path." He than went past the squadron breaking it off into two's out of the four fighters making the whole.


He barrel rolled and dodged the laser fire,and attacked them shooting volleys of turbolaser blasts. The green blasts destroying one of the fighters,and sending the second running. He accelerated the fighter tailing it,as it banked from side to side the target computer beeping. He than focused on the force,and when it's engines came to his sights, he said in confidence. "I have you now." He than fired another volley hitting one of the engines,and sending the ship into a fiery roll of rubble. He zoomed back around to regroup with Sara having confidence in her.

Sara looked around, she then listned in and pulled up quickly, she had no back support unlike the ties, she digged and weaved as they shot, however unlike the tie she was more nimble now, she quickly bled speed causing them to fly past, she smiled as the four cannons came to life, each one fire one right after the other

She scored one sending it spinning before it exploded. The next one gave a good run Sara couldn't get a lock

*stupid damn thing slow the roll down before i*

She smiled as she finally got lock, she opened fire with her missiles hitting it directly causing it to explode

*bolt one confirms hostile are down and confirms hqs suspicion....we may have pirates on the base...*

He grinned as he saw her destroy the fighters with ease. She was one of the best pilot's the First Order can train,and looked forward to seeing more of her progress as time went on. He than linked up with her fighter going on a slow course towards the base. He said knowingly through the comm. "Leave that to me Captain." He than flew his fighter over to the outpost. Bringing it into a hanger which was mostly dark. He than landed in a quiet area, hopping out from the TIE fighter's hatch he than walked slowly through the Hanger. He had no idea if it was atmosphere so hopefully his suit protected him,he couldn't say the same for the captain. He stopped suddenly to wait on her.

*Roger that sir!*

She replied quickly, she moved in behind hom, she slowed as he landed, she took a breath as she landed, though a bit rough kicking dust up, she shut it all off and opened the hatch, she kept the suit on as she looked around

*theres oxygen...barely....room ahead has a cycling, meaning once we enter it, next room should have oxygen*

She said as she moved towards it, a blaster raised and ready

He eyed her up,and down seeing that she had a breather and a blaster pistol raised. He said in a attentive manner. "Expect resistance captain. it would be unfortunate if some rabble easily killed you." He grabbed his lightsaber,and activated it. The unstable blade igniting with hiss,and came out a red fiery unstable blade. He than proceeded to walk forward and after seeing the door was locked he angrily cut his saber through. He sliced up a circle like hole,and entered. The hallway was dark as they walked. No signs of life in sight but his photoreceptors did read that it had life support systems in place.

He walked forward saying to her as he walked carefully through the dark hallways. "Stay alert. We could encounter anything." He raised his saber to provide extra light.

Her helmet was secure on her head, she looked around then to him as she nodded

*yes sir understood*

She nearly jumped at the Sabers activation, however she stopped herself and walked beside him looking around, she hit the flashlight on her gun and aimed ot around

*odd...it's like no one is here at all...command wouldn't say much as to...what the station operates as*

She said as she heard a sound, her gun moved quickly to it only to find a wampa rat scurry off away

*definitely not imperial standard*

She said as they round a corner, Sara spotted a console and walked up to it

* give me a minute to see if I can get lights on*

He lowered his saber downwards wandering the hallways. He than waited as she tinkered with the console, after several minutes power than came back on. He than said as he pushed forward his lightsaber still activated. He felt something as he moved cautiously with every mechanical step. He came upon a door which opened,and as it did appeared to beings who seem to have been enjoying a conversation. They looked to be Twi'leks with blaster rifles, they stopped and when they saw Kyrel, the color drained from their faces as in one swift motion He moved his saber vertically decapitating them.

He pressed forward as with each step his anger grew. His eyes becoming yellow beneath his mask,he than walked purposefully down the hallway reaching the command center. He saw more beings carrying blaster rifles. They were a mix of Human,Zabrak,and Twi'lek. One of them sounded in a fearful voice. "Kill them!" They fired at them shooting waves of bolts at them. He moved cautiously deflecting them with ease. He deflected two bolt's at two men who fired them hitting them in the chest. The rest tried firing,and even some attempted to flee but it was no use. He decapitated three while force choking one. He force pulled the weapons out of the hands of a few humans who were feeling. The rest ran down the hallway leaving one behind. He wasted no time in impaling the man,before continuing onwards.

He lowered his saber making his way to the command center with only one thought in his mind. To kill all those in his path gorging on the power of the dark side.

The emotionless pilot helmet moved back and forth pointing in the direction where odd sounds came from, she quickly turned as she saw the door open

Before she could react, she watched as kryel swiftly made work, her blaster fired at those he wasn't focused on, she ducked as a few went overhead, she couldn't help...but be amazed by the power he possessed, swiftly killing the enemies before him

As all died, she stayed close, however she looked forward and suddenly a short gasp came, somehow one had hidden and quickly pulled her into a room, she struggled as she hit back with her arm, she was widely unskilled...in hand to hand

She was thrown and hit her helmet on a computer she was stunned

He walked carefully down the corridor. As he approached the command center he could hear the shouting of them telling to close the door. All of a sudden blast doors came in place hiding his objective. His anger grew as he let out a frustrated sigh, He than noticed that Sara was gone. He quickly backtracked to where they had left off. He than heard a desperate voice that dripped with fear. "Stop right there. Come any closer,and i kill the pilot." A man stepped out with a DL-18 pointed at Sara's head. Kyrel scoffed at how foolish he was,and so merely shut off his saber. He than said clearly irritated. "Go ahead do it. Either way you die." His eyes widened as he started stuttering. Before he could even say a word, He choked and released his hold on her and the blaster. He dropped to the floor gasping for air until his neck snapped and he fell lifeless.

Still irritated he said to Sara. "I assume you are mostly unharmed captain. I do not wish to waste anymore time on letting the rest live." He said coldly as he clutched his saber tightly,and moved forward. He walked till he came to a stop at the blast door.

She was a bit roughed up, she gave a grin unscared she could die at the moment, she just made sure to move a little so if the man fired it would only graze her

However soon she was released and turned holding the dl18 as she gave a coughed and watched the man die

*yes sir, minor set back is all*

She said and grabbed her left putting it back on and hooking it up, she moved with him and looked at the computer as she checked it

*they fried it...only way in is by access tunnels or explosives *

He said as he reactivated his saber. "Leave that to me Captain." He than started to cut through the door. The durasteel now turning into a gold color liquid as it melted. He focused on cutting it within a rectangular shape. Within minutes the door came down,and as he stepped through his mechanical breathing. He said as he looked in anticipation at the remaining 15 men who were horrified,and battle ready all at once. "All i am surrounded by is fear,and dead men." They than proceeded to waste no time firing. He angled his blade to block the incoming bolts,and moved swiftly decapitating three who were crouched. He than focused on another who fired at him with a heavy repeater, he sliced him from shoulder to hip his screams filling the room.

Within minutes the entire room became a place of carnage as he cut them down swiftly. One how ever got a shot on his left eye which slightly revealed a glowing yellow iris. He than impaled him as he screamed in fear. By the time it was all over bodies and blood were everywhere. The smell of ionized air clung to the room and mixed with the stench of death.

She said as she waited, the new dl18 fitting in her hand easily, she watched the door fall and entered behind him, she waited to fire as she ducked and got to cover, she fired at the few she could get a lock to

She looked around as she could firmed all dead, she then jumped as she watched the man get impaled, she looked to Kyrel

He deactivated his saber,blood was all over the place as he hooked it back to his belt. He sat at a chair to rest a little,and gorge on what transpired. He could declare this mission a success and more of a success for him personally due to the killing he preformed. He looked at Sara who came to check on him his yellow iris focusing on her. He responded as he sat back. "I am fine captain. Hostiles are eliminated in this place." He said coldly as he gave out a low sigh.

She looked at his eye, though he wouldn't see it she was surprised to see the eye but wouldn't react out right, she stood straight and nodded

*I'll radio command and tell them to send clean up and men*

he said and removed her helmet, she started working on the radio, she got word out as she sat and sighed

He sat back,and said. "What now Captain?" He asked curiously. He sat back his breathing the only sound in the room besides the two. They were completely alone and so felt more relaxed. He did enjoy the bloodlust he had attained early,but felt a little drained drawing upon his rage and hatred,even his self loathing. So a rest was best for now. He scanned the room admiring the carnage that he had done.

*well we return and offer a mission report *

She said and stood helmet goimg back on as she turned to him, scratches all over the helmet from the fight, she started for the door as she looked out and sighed

He got up,and walked towards the door leading the way. The halls were empty as it seemed that there was no signs of life. He felt satisfied for what was done,and carried out with his favorite pilot nonetheless. He had dealt with pirate scum,and liberated an outpost for the First Order. He had arrived to the hanger,and waited for the reinforcements to arrive. After several hours a batch of stormtroopers arrived, going in all squads to secure the surrounding area. Kyrel talked to the commanding officer giving him his account of what happened.

Sara moved as she watcged the star destroyers appear through the port, sheover towards the hangar watching as ships landed, she directed them to land before meeting with the commanding officer to give her debrief
