Just Business. (Santhe)

LIANNA

The Okyaab-class Freighter dropped from hyperspace and began broadcasting the MandalTech IFF. The slender vessel moved into the traffic as they all waited for clearance and a docking bay to land in. The small crew all worked to get the cargo in order in the event things went well, but who could say for sure.

The big man in the pilot seat took his heavy booted feet down off the co-pilot's vacant seat and sat up. His scared and weathered face looked back at him in the viewport for a moment before he opened up the communications suit and answered the incoming ping.

"Name, ship name, business and cargo?" An older male voice asked.

"Field Marshal Ordo captain of the Lucky Strill, here to meet with Santhe Corp officials. I am carrying parts and tech samples." Ordo replied.

"Copy Lucky Strill, you are showing up in our system hold on for clearance." The voice said after a moment.

Ordo leaned back and waited with heavy arms crossed over his chest. He leaned his chin down and looked at the deck as he thought of how he hoped this would go. He hoped for mutual agreements and a fair deal but in reality someone always got the better of things.

After only a few minutes he received the boarding authorization for the Santhe guest docking bay and made his way down. The trip was fast and uneventful as he slowed and rotated to fit in the designated docking space before setting the ship down on its large struts.

He set the ship to full cooldown and left his M1-A8 in charge of finishing maintenance checks. Beskar armored feet rang out on the durasteel deck plates making a musical rhythm that Ordo couldn't help but enjoy everytime. The slowing hum and vibration of the engines and the slight smell of coolant when he walked passed the maintenance bay reminded him of how much he loved ships. He walked to the cargo bay and exited via the loading ramp before turning toward the Santhe offices.

The trip was once again short and quiet. He was armed but only lightly and his helmet stayed clipped to his belt this time.

"Ordo from MandalTech to meet [member="Sasha Santhe"]." Ordo declaired to the receptionist droid.

Lianna control allowed the ship to land, and the man was met by a number of well dressed men. Among those well dressed men was also something completely different, a giant fricken whale on loan from Darkwater in an impeccable business suit. He examined the Mandalorian top to bottom before determining that he was clear to speak with Lady Santhe. He was brought to her building, and office....

The office itself was non conventional to say the least. There was a full length mirror and closet with fine silk gowns and other less humble clothing. Sasha liked to look good, and why not? She had the body to pull it off. Hard work for that. Other than that the office was fairly neat with the exception of her desk which was cluttered with various half completed design schematics, and various mechanical components. Sitting center on her desk was a small ion thruster half disassembled with various mockup parts constituting its frame. "Send the man in...." she said to her secretary, a rather yummy young man. Why not? It was good to be king.

Ordo was escorted into her office and she met him with a smile standing up to straighten her silk shirt. "It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Ordo." The young woman came out from behind her desk and approached pulling up two well cushioned chairs to a clear table in the center of the room. The only clear workspace kept as such in case of company. She extended her hand and left it up to the man to either kiss or shake it depending on his preference. "And welcome to Lianna."

Ordo shook the woman's hand and gave a incline of his head as he looked about the room and it's excesses. The woman certainly knew what she wanted and as anyone may guess it seemed to be a little of everything.

"Thank you Ms. Santhe." Ordo said his deep gruff voice better suited for the scar faced warrior he was than a business man, "I've never been before, and I've been around."

Ordo withdrew his hand after the appropriate amount of time and moved to take the seat she had pulled up for his ease. The furnishings like the rest of the office were of fine quality and it was easy to see that the Santhe Corporation was doing very well for itself.

"I came to discuss potential business with you and brought a few samples of our current products." Ordo said as he removed his gauntlets and set them on his lap before removing his datapad and inserting the MadalTech catalogue. "You can peruse at you convience, if you like."

Sasha knew what she wanted from the man across from her. "I'd like more than just a simple purchase from you," she said. "Although I would rather like to incorporate that hyperdrive of yours into a product or two." she shrugged, "what I would like to discuss is something more of a cooperative arrangement. Freedom of exchange and purchase, as my company makes more components available on the open market you would have access to them in bulk and vice versa. It would free us up for using eachothers components in mass production without needing to negotiate every time." She shrugged. "It would save us both time and money on research and development and generate sales between our two companies."

Ordo leaned back and folded his hands over his armored abdomen. The deal sounded like it was a little too sweet and that usually meant it was. He looked at the pretty woman, stuck out his lips for a moment in thought and regarded her with susposious eyes.

"That sounds like a pretty good deal Ms. Santhe." Ordo said smiling, "what's the catch?"

Mandalorians weren't stupid, contrary to popular belief in the sector brought about by near constant sith invasion and propaganda. No, not stupid at all. "The catch is, we would agree to more than just exchanging equipment and access to each others merchandise. We would support one another, refuse to sell to rivals, and make deals with those companies and organizations who don't respect our rights as corporations." She was talking about Subach Innes and their recent spat, but the same principal was applicable elsewhere. "I would offer you the same support you offer me."

OOC: [member="Ordo"], I had no ulterior motive.... just wanted to make a deal but yeah I figure this would be a good one.

[member="Sasha Santhe"] ((OOC: Ya never know Chica. A Guy can't be too careful ya know.))

Ordo leaned forward again and rested his elbows on his armored knees. It was a good deal and as legitimate as he was going to get in this part of the galaxy. His goods get sold from her establishments and visa versa. MandalTech grows and he has more credits to make more innovative technology. All around it was a win.

"Alright Ms. Santhe." He said as he pursed his lips and thpught another moment before nodding, "Alright you have a deal. I would like to see a factory in action before I go but I'll contract with you under the mentioned terms."

"Of course," Sasha said nodding her head. "There are many factories here on Lianna, but let me show you our latest production line." Hitting a button on the display in front of her she summoned a droid, "Get a speeder ready, we'll be visiting one of the factories." The droid rushed out of the room and Sasha smiled at @Ordo. She stood up and extended her hand to him, "shall we?"

Ordo looked at her hand for a moment and slowly stood exaggerating his age. He reached out to take her hand and placed it on his arm all gentleman like so the sake of peaceful relations and waited for the speeder. His weathered and scarred face a sharp contrast to the young woman's smooth unblemished features. He offered a typical Corellian sideways grin that twisted oddly due to the crisscrossing scars but he meant well just the same.

"How did such a young lady get to own a company of this size anyhow, Miss Santhe." He said just making small talk while they waited, "I've adopted daughters older than you, unless I missed my guess."

They walked together for a few steps before the Mandalorian began to ask questions Sasha would rather not answer with a whole truth. "The Santhe Family, along with the Sienar family have owned this company for thousands of years. The families united and power waxes and wanes between the two." Down the hall and around a corner, "Currently I am the first in the Sienar-Santhe line which is the main line of the family. I myself was selected for my technical aptitude and mental atunity, I was also hostage to the Sith for a short time. My family bartered me to them in return for contracts. Keeping me in their hands kept my family and our shipyards loyal." She let out a little sigh, "Although its been suggested we should merge the families again. The cadet branch of the family want me to marry my cousin, the Santhe-Sienar line. It's all juvenile, they believe if I marry their heir they will get more say in my company..."

Ordo nodded as he listened to the young woman's story. He knew all about being in Sith custody, although, he didn't leave as pretty as he went in, go figure.

"Sounds like you owe the lot of'em just about zip, kid." Ordo said casually as if they were talking boloball, "Sith and me go way back, I think we have a shoot on sight arrangement."

Ordo didn't know how deep the woman's Sith feelings went but for him, a year of slavery, torture, use as breeding stock, and gladiator games had left an impression on him.

"So you're a techie?" Ordo said getting off the subject of sith before he got angry, "you like Fighters?"

"Technology is fascinating to me," Sasha replied. Her smile never left her face the entire time as they walked. "Droids are a favorite of mine, although being a shipwright its obvious where my heart lies." she squeezed herself in tighter to the man and pressed her body up against his. "We produced one of the fastest fighters in the galaxy, I designed it myself." Proudly she beamed. She didn't mention how most of those fighters ended up in the hands of the Sith. "And you? Do you enjoy the thrill of something fast underneath you?"

Ordo looked down at the young woman as she pressed against his armor.

"Yup, young." Ordo thought as he looked forward and chuckled.

He was only in his late 30's but he had seen more than most and darn sure knew an innuendo when he heard it.

"I've had the best and then some Ms. Santhe." He said calmly, "nothing's been made that is too fast for me...not yet any how."

He continued along until they were just about ready for the tour. It was a formality mostly but it was good business.

They reached the speeder, it was a luxurious and yet sporty craft with a smooth body. A woman's speeder, but with some muscle behind it to not emasculate a man driving it. "Would you care to drive?" Sasha said as the droid exited the craft. She walked over to the passenger side and stepped in. "The factory isn't very far, just down the street."

[member="Sasha Santhe"]

Ordo grinned and gave a slight bow.

"My pleasure." Ordo said as he walked to the drivers side and teied to get in. He had to push the seat back quite a distance to accommodate his size but hhe finally slid in and checked the controls.

He adjusted the controls to suitable settings and looked over at the young Ms. Santhe.

"Hope you like it fast." Ordo said teying to pay her back for the comments she had made.

He hit the throttle and pulled away quickly and accelerated as he tested the limits of the speeder. He waited for the factories to come into view.

"Where would you like me to put it?" Ordo asked smiling.

Sasha chuckled a little at the comment, "Now we're having fun right?" she said patting [member="Ordo"] playfully on the soldier, "no need to be stuffy." Then she pointed over to a nearby factory. It was a smaller one, but the most recent. "There, you can put it anywhere there."

And so they he did parking in a designated area. "This is the latest, where we produce the Challenger model. It is a luxury performance craft. It has speed and elegance." Stepping out of the speeder she walked over to the gate. Armed guards stood watch everywhere. Even in a civilian plant there was men watching warily for any skulduggery.

A multitude of the sleek craft were in various stages of production. There was a line where bodies were painted, another where finishing were being installed and yet another where an empty frame was moving lonely down the line... "It is one of the smaller operations, this being a niche market, but impressive none the less."

[member="Sasha Santhe"]

Ordo looked at the processes and nodded everything was in excellent working order and he was certain MandalTech would greatly benefit from the arrangement.

"I'm very pleased with what I'm seeing." Ordo said as he watched the line build the challengers. "I'll have to see if I can put my hyperdrive in your ship. Maybe I'll redesign for fighters."

Ordo turned, pulled off his gauntlet to show his scared hand and forearm with the thick black tattoo that disappeared up his arm covering you knew how much of the beast of a man.

"I look forward to doing business together." Ordo said.
